So much going on
tpcatoz-9065031 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A good episode but I feel like each episode of the season besides episode 1 has so much going on and it's kinda hard to keep track.

This past episode we see so many different stories going on. Rue's drug problem, Elliot and Jules relationship, Nate and Cassie's relationship, Nate and Maddie's relationship, Cal Jacobs' relationship with himself, Cal Jacob's relationship with his family, a small glimpse of KAT'a relationship turmoil with Ethan, Rue and Jules having tension, and a tiny bit of what's to come with Fez's situation with mouse's death.

The episode was just bouncing around and I feel like they should add time or episodes to pace things better. I still enjoy the show thought.

This show has so much potential, the cinematography and soundtrack make this show worth watching, but the writing makes the story so incredibly difficult to enjoy.

You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can
Trey_Trebuchet31 January 2022
Who comes up with some of these episode titles?

I liked this episode though. I thought it was very cinematic and I actually liked a lot of the artistic choices Sam Levinson made. It's beautifully shot. The score and soundtrack were reliably solid and I really do love the acting. Eric Dane delivered his best performance in the show yet. I definitely didn't think this one would end the way it did, so I'm anxious to see what happens for the remainder of the show.

I had anxiety at several different points. All of the plot threads here felt like they were LITERALLY hanging by a thread. We're halfway through the season and I have no clue how it's going to end... I like that.

I really feel for Jules and continue to like her as the series progresses. I for one thought the love triangle angle was pretty well executed for the most part. Also... Lexi's play is gonna be insane...

Kat is the only character that really feels so subsided this season. I'm not sure what's going on there, I'll agree with everyone there.

Really good episode.

Well that was lovely

I absolutely love the cinematographer the way everything was filmed is exceptional! Lots of drinking, dancing, powerful drama that is always top notch! Sam Levinson is a true artist with his writing and directing; it comes from a legend his dad Barry Levinson which has also done a bunch of masterful drama among other genres. This episode is a wild rollercoaster ride that flows very well.

"I love you, I've always been with you before you were born and after when you're gone, since before we ever existed".

This is how this episode ended and with it starts the real events of this season and sets the path for the rest of this show.

Im stunned, this is by far the most amazing episode this season have. Yes, its the least cinematic episode but its the greatest.

Warning: Spoilers
This was another good episode for this great show, so entertaining. I would like to know what happened to Cal's friend Derek, obviously Cal got his wife (then girlfriend) pregnant and that was all she wrote, but what about the friend ? I hope they explain that. I like the whole Cassie/Maddy/Nate thing, Nate is such a mystery and a jerk. Cant wait for the next episode.

Warning: Spoilers
It's devastating to watch the consequences of Rue's actions inevitably start to catch up with her, but man does it make for great tv. The scenes with Maddy, Cassie, and Nate are ridiculously engaging and a highlight from this one. Cal has some really great stuff as well, and Eric Dane is fantastic in this role. Just an endlessly entertaining and captivating episode, with some wonderful closing moments.

I mean so many things to love here. The cinematography, the score, ERIC DANE, the two fascinating love triangles and so much more. Great episode, Sam is really great I hope he is able to keep this streak going to finish out the season.

Did I miss the point?

I have loved Euphoria S2 so far but this one is my least favorite. Nothing really happens that we don't already know about: Rue still high, Cassie still devastated, Nate still being Nate. The highlight of this episode was Cal but it was really just a re-do of his past. I like that they're showing the vulnerability and depression in the characters but it seems to be dragging.

Eric Dane just killed it the entire episode! And the soundtrack as always amazing!! Cinematography 10/10 and what a roller coaster of emotions!

Just to say that it is one of the best episodes of this season. Each of the scenes that appear in the whole episode is better than the others. To the point that you realize that everything is going wrong! What an amazing scene by Eric Dane his a really talented actor!

Somewhat directionless..
bhutania9831 January 2022
Absolutely beautiful cinematography. But God I have no idea what was ever happening. Really weird pacing. I think all the different narratives happening at once has just left the episode spread too thin. And the brooding has gotten out of control. Still really pretty though.

Visually beautiful, otherwise boring and uneventful
radphassanzadeh31 January 2022
I don't know what's happening to this show! This episode had nothing to offer. I'm a huge fan but honestly I'm starting to worry, cause nothing's actually going on anymore. The story keeps repeating itself. The cinematography is heavenly as always but the story is very slow paced.

Breathtaking truth, more than an episode, more veracious than life itself, the truth seen like never before. Cataclysmic yet enlightening. One of the best pieces of modern cinema I've ever watched.

This is probably one of if not the best episode of the whole series. It was heart wrenching, it was visually beautiful, it was dramatic, it was incredible. Every characters build up was amazing and it's setting us up for something amazing!

Sam is flexing his talent and I'm impressive wth this Episide
weaveofkev-119-71247531 January 2022
This is Sam's best episode yet. This is borderline masterpiece directorial stuff here. The editing, the music, acting, the message... BRAVO. The last 15 minutes is hauntingly beautiful. I am very curious where the next episode goes next as this episode is going to be a hard one to follow and I'm looking forward to it!

The best episode so far
fabrisrocha1 February 2022
From the four until now, it's the episode I liked the most on season 2. It had the best characters showing up, also the most interesting storylines in this season (maddyxcassiexnate and cal), the soundtrack as usual was amazing and we had lack of the boring lexi what made the episode even better.

I didn't blink
IvanReviewsIMDb31 January 2022
Just like the 4th episode of the first season, this one didn't dissapoint, to say the least. Only nitpick I have is that Fez gets only 2 minute of screentime, but everything else... Euphoria proves again that is probably the most visually impressive show ever, characters went through deep emotions that is related to their relationships, a lot of intense events, a couple of good comedic moments, score by Labrinth was amazing, a lot of great editing choices, the actor who plays Cal had a lot of great scenes... This is easily one of the better episodes of Euphoria so far.

Back on track
gharbinour1 February 2022
Finally Euphoria is getting back on track closer and closer to the awesomeness of season 1. I was very disappointed by the previous episodes, except for the first one, but this episode was great, dark and intense like it should be. I was afraid Euphoria was going to become some regular teen show, but I don't anymore, I have regained hope. Keep it up.

The worst episode of the series....
calebamorgan31 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not sure if Sam lost his notes of season 1 and the characters.. but the series is heading in a bad direction..

First, the scene of Nate & Cassie arguing was one of the most forced and weird interactions ever... they didn't even feel like the same characters, the way they were talking, especially Cassie...? This terrible storyline with Cassie & Nate gets way too much screentime also... it's exhausting.

Maddy's birthday party turned out to just be a disappointing weird mess...

Kat has literally no storyline, she just appears for a few seconds to mention how she doesn't like Ethan... after all the build up of season 1 of them getting together. It was clear Kat did like Ethan, so in the span of 3 weeks after the winter formal, she despises him...

Rue didn't do much this episode besides be high and we have Jules and Elliott kissing every 5 minutes.... Which is all just weird...

Like why is Jules acting like this... based on how we left off with her in her special episodes, none of this makes sense.

Sam is just ignoring whatever he wants about season 1 & the special episodes, to write the characters however he wants...

Then, we have the storyline of Cal just visiting the gay bar he went with Derek, felt like this should've happened last episode.... All of his scenes felt like they were just happening... I didn't feel much for him at all... or his random decision to tell his family about his secret life...

This entire episode felt like a lot but nothing at the same time.. I just absolutely love this show and am so sad to see how it's turning out with this new season...

This was not only one of the best episodes of Euphoria, but maybe hours of television I've seen, period. The cinematography, acting, and story telling in this episode is incredible. My mind is blown.

Yha there's lot of visuals but i couldn't get involved. Without gripping storyline its just a piece of video. No uplifting music.

Pretty Nothing.
jamericanbeauty31 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Season 2's Episode 1 was entertaining and explosive storytelling, mostly focused on Fez's backstory, a wild New Year's house party involving all of the show's characters and Fez's unexpected but intriguing connection with Lexi at said party. Since then, Fez and Lexi have been sidelined. Why? Season 2 has gone downhill. It's dragging. It looks gorgeous and sounds beautiful, but cinematography, soundtrack and gratuitous nudity alone does not make for good tv. This show has been reduced to a Cassie/Nate/Maddy love triangle that no one wanted or asked for. Jules. I'm tired of Jules. This show is obsessed with Jules. Why? There's a Rue/Elliott/Jules love triangle...kind of, considering Rue is asexual and in love with drugs. And I thought Jules was done with boys/guys/men. Doesn't Sam Levinson remember what he wrote in Jules' standalone episode a year ago?! Too much Cal. All of his scenes were cringeworthy, except the stunning Jacobs Family scene towards the end of the episode. Rue's drug induced time travel to hug and see her Dad was devastating and a great scene. Her destructive drug use is how she reunites with or sees her dead Father again. How incredibly heartbreaking. This show has become a show of a couple of great scenes and some solid acting. Season 2 on a whole is an incoherent mess from the plot to the characters' arc. It just looks and sounds pretty.
