It is usually around tenth episode, things are getting great for lead couple in dramas, but this was devastatingly beautiful! My need for romance and comfort simply jumped from left to right in my heart almost every scene. Daily slice of life can be so overwhelming sometimes, but great sense of community in Gongjin and simply put soothing stories on what really matters are like honey for my loneliness. I wish all the viewers get as much warmth on their life journeys as this episode delivered <3.

Perfect Romance

This episode is crazy good, confession scene was perfect!!!!!
As Hye-ji enters her home, an intruder comes in. She shrieks and Hong just happens to have suspicions. He comes in on time before the door closes and fights the pervert. The pervert has a knife and he gets wounded with a cut. Hong gets the situation under control and calls the cops.
The neighbours come to see the scene. Hong is in the hospital with Hye-ji. The director turned around last episode to go back to Gong-jin and heard about Hye-ji's incident. He leaves shortly after seeing them.
Hye-ji's home is a crime scene so she is invited to go to Hong's. It is her third time there now. Hye-ji did not bring anything and Hong asks if she wants him to go get clothes for her at her home or perhaps she can wear his? Hye-ji comes out in a too big white tee and beige pants much to the amusement of Hong. Hye-ji gets spooked by every sound and wants to be near Hong. She sleeps out on the sofa and Hong sleeps on the floor despite there being a bed available.
The next day the group are together talking about the perv. The red bra from the gossipy lady was taken by the perv. Ju-ri and her dad are present too. Hong and Hye-ji walk together to them and the ladies giggle about them being together at night.
Pyo and Hye-ji go to Seoul to forget about their romance issues. Hye-ji is unsure if she unplugged the hair curler so Pyo calls Hong to go to their home to check. Hye-ji is hesitant and does not want him to go due to her room being a mess. Hong checks and turns out the hair curler was unplugged already.
The women have fun shopping and then eating at a fancy restaurant near the Han River. It rains when they are wanting to leave for the spa. Hye-ji walks into the rain much to the dismay of Pyo because she was influenced by Hong telling her to just enjoy it. She comes to a realization and tells Pyo she is going back to Gong-jin. Her friend is happy and wonders what she should do now.
Back in Gong-jin, Hye-ji calls Hong but he left his phone at home. She looks across the stream and Hong is sitting near the lamppost. She goes to the other side and he is surprised to see her because they told him they would return tomorrow.
She tells Hong she likes him. She is the kind of person who plans out her 99 years of life which is unlike him. They are probably so incompatible and different but to hell with all that. She likes him and she tells him she doesn't expect anything. She covers his mouth as she says this to stop his reply.
In reply Hong kisses her and then after the kiss says he can no longer deny it as well. Sooooooooo romantic.
