More evidence, if it were needed, that Paul is the world's worst role model.Declan is half off the rails most of the time anyway, the last thing he needs is to learn Paul's way of doing things.Here Paul embarks on a scheme which, if found out, would see Johnno walk free(or at least get a retrial)and Paul and Tim end up in jail.Once upon a time that's what would have happened, or at the very least he'd change his mind and not go through with it, but we live in the new, improved Neighbours where Paul can do whatever he likes and get away with it. All hail.
On the plus side, it's a nice twist and it's good that Johnno isn't the complete idiot that he initially appears to be.Declan comes across as an impotent child.His "You're just kids" to Ringo and Zeke is one of the biggest pot-kettle-black moments in the show's history.
Lucas continues to just...not...get it.He still seems to be relying on gambling to get him out of trouble and is now stealing from the only two people that will actually give him the time of day.His helping out Zeke and Ringo is a nice moment though.
