Nice thriller with good plot and social message!!

#Mute - is a nice thriller movie with an interesting storyline and gives a good social message concerned with animal abuse. Until the climax part, the movie very well keeps up the suspense effect. Archana Jois has done a wonderful job in the lead role. Tejus Venkatesh (Arjun role) has done a good job, though for a very short time. He has good potential in acting and can be considered for more detailed acting roles. Al the other actors have done a nice job in their roles. I felt the climax part direction and acting could have been made more effective to induce a more thrilling experience in the audience.

Kudos to the whole #Mute team for their dedicated efforts in giving a good movie to the Kannada cinema industry! Wishing them all success in future endeavors and hope to see them come up with more creative and innovative movies in the future!!

Though I wasn't sure quite what to expect from the movie. I admit I basically expected it to be a slightly goofy slapstick type comedy centred around a high-strung pooch. But I think it certainly turned around my expectations, keeping aside the fact that a very close friend of mine is starring in it.

The producers have tried to communicate a message which could be perceived differently by various social groups. Moreover, in my opinion some elements could have been executed much better through the general film making process such as closing arcs for some characters that appeared early on in the movie but disappeared by the end of it.

All the cast are great. Archana particularly is very likeable as the woman who "lost" her dog, and makes plans for his retrieval.

Suspense thriller with an important underlying message

Loved the concept of expressing the compassion towards animals through a suspense thriller , Matured performances from lead actors adds to the watching experience. Also loved the editing to keep the movie short and crisp.

Background score and cinematography were good. A small budgeted movie with a very good message towards animal love.

A fast paced first half would have made things even better, Casting was perfect for the characters. Story leads the characters in this engaging thriller .

Movie is really good..., really enjoyed watching it.

A piece of must watch and good in every aspect - it keeps guessing till last minute.

When someone asks me which is the good suspense thriller movie that have seen in the recently.., I have the answer now.

Just superb acting from Archana Jois., yet another exemplary performance after KGF. This time in a lead role, also we get to see amazing performance from other actors., I am sure every one will like it.

The best thing about the movie.., is its unique story.

Hoping the movie should grab awards

Brilliant Attempt

With given budget, to pull off a movie with good content and quality is not everyone's cup of tea. Prasanth sir and team had done a brilliant job. Dialogs are so good. Screenplay was pretty decent. Archana did justice to the role Divya. Cosmo was so lovely😍.

Editing was par and could have been much better. DOP and music was pretty decent. The way this society is handling #Mute creatures it's a welcoming and much needed movie. Every creatures deserves to be loved.

Overall it's a decent watch. Watch without any expectations you'll end up watching a good content.

Expect the unexpected... ..

This was best one to watch it over the weekend and totally worth it!!!

The story line is good which makes the audiance keep guessing the culprits.... And the reality of our surroundings and our force system!

Hard reality of the current systems, emotions and the value of friendship, results and mentality of the rejections and the depression is real and it showcase each and every part of these soo well which can relate to most of our generation now...

I watched mute with a lot of expectations.

Although the storyline is distinctive, the execution stalls on various levels.

The movie starts on a high note with the protagonist's monologue but eventually fails to keep the audience glued to their seats.

The screenplay could have been more crisp.

The emotions of the woman who lost her dog seems rushed and flat at some places.

The climax is brilliantly written with the performance from the culprit. The poems are definitely a hit and is one of a kind climax.

The climax monologue in a way stays with you and could have been performed better by the actors.

Archana Jois has justified her role and the rest of the actors are moderate. Actor Naren was under-utilised.

Overall, a decent attempt. Kudos to the team.

Must watch movie

Really great acting and screenplay by the crew. Must watch movie for animal lovers.

The main character show cases the love for animals really well and the villain role is played really well too. All the actors have performed their roles wonderfully, especially Archana Jois as Divya.

#Mute shows the dark side of animal cruelty which has gotten out of hand and happening in India for public to be aware of the issue.

The suspense is build and held keeping the story mysteriously. That is why the movie keeps thrilling.

A must watch movie for everyone and everyone who love pets or have pets. Cheers!

#Mute- one of the best suspense thrillers

So far this was one of the best Kannada movies which goes off the book.

The movie has all the Sherlock kind questions popping up and it brought me to the edge of my seat especially after the interval.

Archana has done a fantastic job leading her part through out and proved that she's more than a lead support role.

The connection between the humans and pets, and as humans where are we headed towards humanitarian perspective while the new generation's focus is lost in the virtual social apps - is showcased in the best of ways!!

This movie beats any other movie with predictable story lines!!!

Come for the story, wait for the twist!

This relatable yet refreshing movie gives a new meaning to the word thriller. Even though I am not the biggest fan of the thriller genre, this movie grabbed my attention and kept me on the edge of my seat.

With a mix of well known actors and new entrants, the story tugged my heart strings while covering the reality of having pets in a metropolitan city. The hard look at the reality of losing something close to your heart and gaining unexpected support from the internet are themes that you and me can relate.

Whether you like animals, movie making, thrillers and suspense or a good story, this movie is worth it. Go watch it today!

#MUTE is one of the nicest suspense thriller movie in the recent time.

It keeps you hooked with some unexpected plots and twists. Characterization for both protagonist and COSMO ( Dog ) was well written.

Archa Jois has justified the role rightly.

Siddharth Madyamika, Tejus Venkatesh who play pivotal roles leaves an impact with their performance.

Not to forget the performance of dear COSMO. The love for the owner and the emotions showcased by the dog is fabulous...

Could have used the potential of actors like Adukulam Naren. There is a lack in Police investigation..

Kudos to the team:) :)

Give it a watch, no doubt

The story and the message is outstanding more like a good use of the platform. U guys have done a brilliant job.

Not so happy with the voice overs and dialogues. The dialogue delivery was not effective I feel because it did not keep me on my toes.

You have made it more simple and realistic, i did not see the movie carrying it all along.

I did not like how many things seemed incomplete.

I'm happy the backstory was explained well but it lacks a little of something. Something like yeah a bad person is talking, he is showing off he is talking nonsense. That did not happen.

The celebrity, the new reporter, the dog insurance guy many Minor characters made me feel they weren't given much importance when it comes to casting/ voice-over/ Lip sync.

The screenplay was not at its best.

I guess it's all about trying and coming out of our comfort zone. This is a nice movie which shows how people think of dog parents, their emotions, divorced lady, her friends, her profession etc Many scenes made me feel angry and sad which means the actors did a good job in bringing out the message.

All the things you have done with the technical part, graphics and all they were really nice. I liked how you guys chose the name Arjun ( somewhere it gives a lot meaning as Arjun from Mahabharata also had multiple relationships) and another friend of Divya's name was also Arjun. It looked more natural to have similar names in a group of people.

I was curious to see how you will show the dogs perspective. It has come out well. I really liked it.

Over-all, I would recommend others to give it a watch. All the best people. Keeping high hopes for your next project because you guys have a lot of potential.

Great weekend Movie

This was a great movie to watch in the weekend, in a relaxing atmosphere! Very enjoyable and easy to follow... The storyline was really good, the movie feels very modern and in trend with today's animal activist realities. I think this movie will be even more important for animal owners and lovers alike. It will feel like a movie that hits home for everyone that is familiar with animal abuse. So I feel like #MUTE sends an important message for everyone... a message that should be propagated as much as possible, so if you have friends or acquaintances that would be interested in it, do them a favour and share this movie with them.

As in recent times one of the best movie, experience throughout cinema is seat edging , jonor and characters are very unique in recent times I say evry one must experience this movie to feel the journey of a #mute life's around us.

Acting characterization and engaging scene by scene is the main winning of the movie.

And i feel the climax is the most unique which was never a part of any movie in times , dare to attempt such scenes and ending a story like that is a challenging , which I felt it was a brilliance in handling it

Fantastic thriller for weekend

The movie is an edge of the seat thriller with the premise which is relevant to the current society. The screenplay is gripping and to the point with no unnecessary scenes or dialogues. The performance by Archana Jois is top notch and other casts have ably supported the protagonist. The run time could have been even lesser considering that it's a thriller with no run on the mill songs. It should have been released in theatres instead of OTT as it could have got a wider audience. Also the team should have promoted the movie better but then it's understandable that they are a new team and had budget constraints. Nevertheless it's a good one time watch with family Ona weekend.

Much needed movie for the current times

This movie feels incredibly timely, given the current climate in which animal activists are being attacked for feeding stray dogs and politicians are advocating for killing street dogs. The film sheds light on the abuse and atrocities committed against voiceless animals by humans, and the team behind it deserves kudos for their bravery in tackling this issue.

In addition to its important social message, the movie is also a great example of compelling storytelling. The mystery of the criminal's identity keeps the audience guessing until the pre-climax, and the unexpected twists and turns are well executed.

The film also excels in its technical aspects, with strong camerawork, music, and other production values. While the first half of the movie may feel a bit slow, it picks up in the second half. Some added entertainment value, such as comedy or action, could have made the pacing even stronger.

Archana delivers a strong performance, and the rest of the cast does a decent job as well. However, it's definitely evident that Naren's talent wasn't utilized more effectively.

#Mute is a well-made movie that delivers on its promise of being a suspense-thriller. It has a fresh concept and is quite relevant to today's tech enabled world. But it also depicts the emotional side of the human.

It is refreshing to see Archana Jois in full fledged lead role. Her performance in the movie is top notch. Credits to the director Prashant Chandra for such a story and neat execution. Kudos to the investors who trusted in such experimental concept and produced it in this difficult times.

Tejus Venkatesh, Siddharth Madhyamika and Adukulam Naren have all acted well.

Overall, #Mute is definitely worth watching for anyone who enjoys this genre.

Worth your time

Love the way this movie is shot. Simple premise yet great social message.

Archana has done a commendable job. Supporting cast is decent too. Good thriller to watch on your ott platform. Refreshing to see Naren in a Kannada movie.

Background music is good and apt. No unnecessary masala or songs. No forced comedy. Even though there were some loop holes and somethings didn't make sense, overall this was a good movie that I would love to watch again.

More power to Kannada industry. Such out of the box movies should be encouraged so the creators get a big screen release for their future projects.

Thought provoking suspense thriller

Movie makes one sit at edge of the seat until the end. Must watch and movie uplifts the humanity that is lost these days. Thought provoking and keeps viewer engaged throughout. Story ends in a unpredictable way and one keeps guessing on the possibilities and villain. Perfect suspense movie and any one with lots of emotions be prepared to cry.

Expression of few could have been little better. Simple story well narrated and directed by the team. Good luck to entire team and wishing to see more such movies. At the end movie questions the lost humanity among people and an eye opener for all. Good work.

Nice Thriller movie with a good social message

Great movie! The whole cast was great but the star of the show was definitely Archana Jois. She made the character come alive realistically.

Climax twist is a big plus and the dialogues played a major role in climax screenplay.

However, I personally felt the climax could have been more effective and with some more BGM on it to experience the actual villian role performance.

Tejus venkatesh (Arjun-role) has done pretty good job even though it was for a short time and rest have done their best to make this movie more realistic.

Good attempt...

What i liked about the movie was 1. The concept 2. It was mostly non-judgemental towards pet lovers 3. I was always feeling that Abhi was the killer/kidnapper. That was well driven 4. Was a good mix of sensitivity and lack of sincerity for police. That point was also well driven

I felt Divya's character could have evolved more... She judges Abhi but cannot receive feedback from him...I think the response could have been better or rectified later. However it may not be needed for the screen play as such.

Liked the climax, it was dramatic

The movie was well enacted and presented...All the best for the next move.
