After a year of extreme highs and lows, the Little Couple is ready to enjoy everyday life. First, they're off to Florida for the long-delayed baptism of Will and Zoey. Afterwards, they hit the road again, heading to Washington D.C.
Will and Zoey love their devices and are highly skilled at using technology. But Jen and Bill want the family to take some time away from their handheld screens so they head to Jen's favorite beach in Galveston.
The first day of preschool gives Jen a chance to take some memorable photos. Later, the kids take swim lessons, but Zoey is a slightly slower learner than Will.
Zoey's about to turn 3, so Jen plans a birthday party with a farm theme in honor of her daughter's favorite song, "Old MacDonald Had a Farm." Also: a family trip to Delaware for the kids' annual checkups.
A trip to a pumpkin patch helps Will and Zoey learn about Halloween before Bill has to leave for back surgery. Later, Bill gets a surprise from Jen and the kids for his 40th birthday.
Bill has surgery on his back. Jennifer and her team at Texas Children's Hospital run an Ebola test scenario. Will and Zoey go trick-or-treating for the first time on Halloween.
It's been six weeks since Bill's back surgery. Bill's feeling much better but still in pain so Jen and Bill head to New York for a check-up with the back surgeon. Later, the family takes a field trip to NASA/ Johnson Space Center.
It's Christmas time once again for the Klein-Arnold family and Bill and Jen are especially excited because Will and Zoey have a much better understanding of what Christmas is all about this time around.
Jen and Bill think it's time for 4-year old Will and 3-year old Zoey to try some extra-curricular activities. They've decided on karate lessons for Will and ballet for Zoey. And Bill enlists the kids to help out with a special project at home.
Will's turning five! Jen decides it's time to re-decorate his bedroom. Also this year, she's stepping aside to let Bill plan the birthday party, Jen's only task is to send out invitations, but when she sends out the wrong address will anyone arrive?
Jen, Bill, Will and Zoey are in New York City for a few days. Both Jen and Bill have appointments with Dr. James Farmer, the orthopedic surgeon who operated on Bill's spine. And they have a meeting with the publishers of their new book!
