The dark horse ? pfffffffff really
HotDoggyBoomBooM17 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
No offense dwight and sherry doesn't look like liberators but half starved maniacs running amok causing disturbances and got a family killed by looting a dargon fruit from a looter. The way people call them "THE DARK HORSES" is nothing but cringe.

its getting out of hand... Parody the walking dead
waltercarlucci7 November 2021
Sorry I can not take this season... its getting out of hand, more like a comedy. "The dark riders" are you serious? "Padre" all this going on in couple of weeks into the fall of the bombs... Please... I hope this nonsense ends soon.

It's so bad, it's like a comedy!
astimegoesby-853477 November 2021
Seriously? From the weird music to the cheesy dialogue to the horrendous directing to the terrible cartoony villains? This is getting to season 5 levels of bad! Why can't writers just give up on the cheesy Hope storylines & focus on being a serious, coherent and actually dark (not shock factor dark) zombie television show?

The storyline needs a bit of help!
ohmap-977-66481015 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I must say the horses are doing GREAT in the aftermath of a nuclear explosion! Everybody and everything else needs gasmasks, but the horses don't need a damn thing.

I like Victor's character and don't understand why Morgan doesn't join the group. There is food, music, and booze at the Victor's place. What does Morgan have at his place? Oh yes, Grace found some green beans under a tile in the sub. Morgan got one of the twins to stay with him at the submarine (the irritating one). The white twin is looking for her black counterpart who is handicapped and doing very well with Victor, but she decided to stay with MoMo.

Since they have a stereo, I suggest Victor look for a CD, or record, of the Gap Band. I swear Victor looks just like the lead singer of the Gap Band singing the song "You Dropped a Bomb on me!" All he needs is a cowboy suit and hat to do the dance and taunt Morgan as he looks on from the telescope. Of course he would also need two other guys on either side of him doing the synchronized dance.

Other groups who have lead singers who look like Victor include Cameo doing "Word Up", and the Village People doing "YMCA". Since there is drinking, why not make the place a disco?

The added singing and dancing could not harm the show more than the current writing, so what the heck! EVERYBODY DANCE NOW (also a song).

Great episode i can't understand people
mkublay7 November 2021
Why do people hate this drama, they act as if someone threatened to discredit it, you don't need to be so aggressive, it was a very good and fun episode, ignore the toxic comments.

The Dark Horses
Martin_West1227 November 2021
'Till Death' is a decent and creative Dwight and Sherry centric episode. As of now, Fear The Walking Dead has for me surpassed the main show in terms of overall production and entertainment. Well directed episode by Lennie James with a memorable performance from Aisha Tyler.

Great episode
tristan_198 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm reading the reviews and I can't understand the hate here. The writing is actually really good, and it's really interesting to see the parallels between Dwight and Sherry's past and current life. The sanctuary concept, and the polaroids on the wall are very reminiscing of the Saviors, and these notions and ideas actually push the narrative forward and our characters to make certain decisions rather than others.

Mickey's character is well acted and the emotion is tangible. Losing Kevin, Kim and Briga was really sad. Strand really doesn't pull his punches anymore. It's actually tragic for the character. He definitely would benefit from Madison's presence, who would have helped him stay in the right path. He has really no support anymore, or at least real friends or healthy connections and relationships.

Finally, Dwight and Sherry are more compelling than ever, and their little talk about wanting to found a family was emotional and gave their characters a new layer. They're definitely easy to root for.

This was by far the best episode of the season since the season premiere. Aisha Tyler was fantastic in her role, this season is shaping up to become a lot more interesting.

A HUGE Improvement on last week's Episode
matp-476008 November 2021
Dwight is one of the few interesting characters left on this show and the whole of the Walking Dead franchise and has been in need of some more screen time. I think the writers have written some really development and story for Dwight but I still don't think they've realised his full potential. In any case it's good to see Austin Amelio and Christina Evangelista back and both immediately show that they are much better actors than Mo Collins and can actually carry an episode on their own.

While the plot does get a bit on the ridiculous side once again this episode, the direction, Cinematography and stunt/fight choreography were all pretty good this episode - the walker fight scene in the wrestling ring actually had some good camerawork. The new character Mickey is another good addition to the show, just like Josiah, but these writers have a tendency to sideline and underuse good characters for long periods of time so we will have to wait and see.

Wow, fantastic episode in a great season...
RSO_Media25 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Season 7 has been a fantastic season so far, and 'Till Death' is just another great example. After starting off with a bang, it's been interesting for me to see where these characters have ended up, in this post-'New Beginning' world which has just become exponentially even MORE difficult to live in.

I love the increasingly classic western meets Road Warrior vibe of the show, and I thought the idea of Dwight and Sherry out on their own as sort of old-school, notorious outlaw anti-heroes was great, as is Strands' response upon finding out who the "Dark Horses" are. Very engaging performances and writing in this episode, and then after meeting Mickey, a great fight sequence.

Can't wait to see where it all goes next, but I don't know how they'll top the conclusion of last season.

The focus shifts to Dwight and Sherry, whose relationship undergoes severe tests against the backdrop of the apocalyptic challenges they face together
fernandoschiavi29 April 2024
Dwight and Sherry have become a team of "ethical outlaws" known as the Dark Horses, protecting those in need while searching for PADRE. Their friends, the Larson family, are growing impatient due to dwindling supplies. Dwight and Sherry are captured by Strand's Rangers and brought to the Tower, where Strand attempts enlist their help to find Mickey, a woman who escaped the Tower in search of her missing husband Cliff. The two refuse the offer, comparing Strand and the Tower to Negan and the Sanctuary. Nevertheless, the two track down Mickey and offer her their help, only to discover that the Larsons have been murdered, causing Dwight to decide to take Strand's offer while Sherry heads off with Mickey to find Cliff.

Encountering Eli, a criminal who he and Sherry had previously fought, Dwight learns that Strand hired Eli to murder the Larsons and, enraged by his actions, Dwight leaves Eli to be devoured by a herd. Sherry and Mickey find Mickey's gym surrounded by walkers and, fighting through the herd, the two find a reanimated Cliff inside and put him down. Afterwards, Mickey joins the Dark Horses who respond to a distress call, only to be ambushed by the Stalkers. Aware of the Dark Horses' reputation, the Stalkers request their help in finding PADRE.

The seventh season of "Fear the Walking Dead" continues to intensify with episode 5, titled "Till Death." This episode explores themes of sacrifice, desperation, and complex human emotions, woven into the survival narrative that has become the series' hallmark. The focus shifts to Dwight and Sherry, whose relationship undergoes severe tests against the backdrop of the apocalyptic challenges they face together.

The episode opens with Dwight and Sherry in a precarious situation as they are captured by a group of survivors known for their ruthless tactics. This initial capture sets the tone for the episode, highlighting the constant danger the characters face and the volatile alliances formed in the post-apocalyptic world. As they plan their escape, the couple's interactions provide a deep dive into their psychological states, revealing unresolved tensions and their undying commitment to each other.

A standout scene involves a daring and violent breakout, choreographed with the series' characteristic grit and tension. The action sequences are interspersed with intimate moments between Dwight and Sherry, juxtaposing their fight for survival with their struggle to maintain their relationship's integrity. This duality enriches the narrative, offering a layered look at how relationships can both complicate and facilitate survival in such dire circumstances.

Critically, "Till Death" is a powerful episode that leverages its character-focused storyline to delve into emotional depths rarely explored in action-centric series. The performances by Austin Amelio (Dwight) and Christine Evangelista (Sherry) are particularly commendable, capturing the complex emotions of characters pushed to their limits. The episode successfully balances intense action with compelling drama, making it a critical highlight of the season. It not only advances the plot but also enriches our understanding of its central characters, setting the stage for further developments in their arc and the overarching narrative of the series.

Show keeps getting dumber and dumber
mhorg201814 November 2021
First, thanks for wasting Aisha Tyler with this stupid wrestling bit. Second, does anyone know ANYTHING about radiation? The entire nuclear weapon bit was stupid enough, but why aren't the horses dying of radiation? How is Victor's tower a 'safe zone'? Anyone know anything about fallout? Or reprogramming nuclear missiles? Why a ship thrown ashore has no damage? How much more annoying can Super-Shelly be? When will Dwight-a poorly written character and Shelly get killed off? Victor has now crossed the line to absolutely irredeemable. He has to die. And where is Alicia? How come one part of Texas has yellow, dust filled skies and the rest is sunny and blue skied? I don't advocate anyone getting fired, but these writers and show runners need to go, or this show needs to end.

Mickey
ZegMaarJus9 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with Sherry and Dwight, they got into a gunfight. Sherry and Dwight got surrounded by Howard his group. Howard delivered Sherry and Dwight at Victor his headquarters. Mickey tells her story to Sherry and Dwight. Kim, Briga and Kevin died while Sherry and Dwight where gone. Dwight burried Kevin, Briga and Kim their bodies. Dwight wants answers from Eli. Eli killed Kim, Kevin and Briga. Eli gets eaten by a walker, he dies afterwards. Sherry, Dwight and Mickey kill the large group of walkers together. Solid Episode of Fear the Walking Dead Season 7, great to see that Dwight and Sherry are back in this Season! I don't get the storyline about the group with the masks now. We will see how this will evolve!

S7.E5 - More and More Mediocrity [6/10]
panagiotis199312 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
(S7. E5) My Reaction / Review for Fear The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5 ''Till Death'': Episode 4 was mediocre and I gave it a rating of 6/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Why Strand cares so much about this Mickey? So Dwight and Sherry will have to do this mission for Strand and if they succeed he will let them stay with him? Someone killed Kim, Kevin and Briga? Who could this be and why they would do that? Sherry left Dwight back to go help a total stranger? What the hell? Mickey's man is dead, that's sad but i dont care at all. Strand was behind the murder of Kim and Kevin? Damn he has become a real villain. The big fight scene with the walkers was a bit ridiculous, especially the reggae music. Where is Alicia by the way? Overall this is another somewhat mediocre episode, my rating is 6/10.

The Season of Fillers
sigelm17 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A more decent episode than the previous ones, but I really dislike the nuclear catastrophe thing. The direction of the show should never have gone that way, especially because it was already covered in this show. Every scene is yellow and boring. The episodes are fillers, each man for themselves, no more group activities, they are split into small groups. Strand's behaviour is out of character even for him; now he had a child killed, yeah, right. It's all just boring. Horses are a mistake that rides right into our face in every scene, you can't hope we can forget that horses aren't resistant to radiation and that you messed that one up heavily when they keep coming at us?

Dwight and Sherry are finally back after 4 episodes and they're kicking ass!! This episode is just perfect, there're suspens, actions, humor, sadness and anger too. We go into all emotions in less than an hour.

Getting worse with each episode this season
HigHurtenflurst16 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
FTWD is really starting to jump a number of sharks in their plots. The fight scene in the wrestling ring was simply ludicrous and absurd.

It will be nice indeed to see Victor eventually killed. His character has been an egocentric narcissistic sociopath since the first season.

Great Episode without Morgan
antsmiff10 November 2021
Fun, action packed episode made even better because Morgan is not in it. So many good characters left on the sidelines in this series to accommodate the boring Morgan story. It's a shame that it's become The Morgan Show.

LAMEY LAME LAME
christinetreichel15 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The dumb gas masks - you can't tell who's who - so they show just the actors eyes while they are supposedly talking - really?!?

But those eyes are just dead of emotion when you can't see the whole face!!!!

This is just a small annoyance out of a load of lame scenes that lead nowhere fast.

Why am I still watching ?!?!?

What a waste of time.

kevinmorrissey-6203825 November 2021
What the F@&£ is going on.. I feel like I'm watching a series made by some uni students that have been awake for 4 days straight.. just completely lost its way and some of the actors need to cut ties as it's going to ruin them.

confused mess
Rob-O-Cop10 November 2021
Another turn your head away from the screen episode as good actors deliver senseless material.

It's either how stupid do they think we are or how stupid are they, or a mix of both. Couldn't enter the gym cos of the zombie cluster, but could easily dismiss them after delivering weak speeches to each other, cos zombies aren't dangerous any more, they're just clean up duty.

So many just plan bad moments.

Is nobody going to pick up on the bad form of framing strand as a cliche African dictator resplendent with military hat? Little bit racist ya think?

Did You Know That Horses Are Immuned To Radiation
gbarrett-399416 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Every week the scenario gets more and more silly. And I understand that this is set in the unbelievable world of zombies, but the show has evolved to being a shell of its former self. Localised poison areas with ominous fog to clear areas that could be a regular day. That is not how weather works. Also Dragonfruit...WTH? I think it's time for this show to end.
