Sex & Nudity

- There is a villain named Sasha early on in the game who is clearly attracted to Cole, and she constantly sends him telepathic messages implying her infatuation with him, even calling him "delicious" at one point.
- Sasha is naked from the waist down, however, that part of her body is completely covered in a tar-like substance, so nothing is actually seen.
- Cole's best friend Zeke asks him to solve a murder to help him score a date.
Violence & Gore

- You are a man with electrical powers and you unleash them on robots and enemy minions. There is no blood however. You can choose to be good or bad in this game as well. When you are hurt, small drops of blood can appear on the screen for a moment, but this is not seen on the character.
- You can kill civilians, but there is no reward for it, if anything you are punished because the civilians throw rocks at you. This is part of the karma system.
- You have the ability to drain the life out of an enemy or civilian to heal yourself.
- It is mentioned in the beginning of the game that rapes took place in the quarantine zone after it was closed off.
- One cutscene shows a barrage of bullets ripping through the bodies of innocent people, however, it is brief and in comic-book style animation, so it is not very gory.
Profanity

- The profanity is surprisingly heavy for a T-rated game.
- Several usages of the word "sh*t", "damn", and "hell". Occasional uses of "bastard" and "b*tch".
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- There is tar around the game that can cause you to hallucinate, but this is not really a drug as it is not voluntarily taken.
- There is an enemy faction in the game called the Reapers, who were mutated and brainwashed by this tar. Cole mentions that, before they were mutated, the Reapers were drug dealers.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There is a scene at the beginning where the "Ray Sphere" explodes and wipes out almost the entire city. This is viewed from a distance- i.e. a helicopter and you see as a sphere of electricity expands slowly and people run away from it.
- The villain Sasha has a creepy appearance.
- If the player's karma is too inclined towards evil, Cole will take on a scary appearance, with pale skin and veins covering his head.

- A major character dies near the end of the game, which can be upsetting.
