The fifth in Turner Clay's delightful FF series about trying to produce irrefutable proof of a ghost. In this we go back down to the Everglades again, to the home of the late serial killer James Lightfoot. This time Clay becomes deputized. Since he was able to help in the redemption of Susan Forrester's remains the police recognize that he can help them plenty. Once he gets a look at the map inside the bottle that he also recovered he, by reaching out to his online socials, helps brings the resolution to the cops again. Once again he is able to hold my attention and actually ratchet up the fear with little to no dialog or action. How does he do it?

Another solid entry in the series

The Blackwell Ghost films have been consistently enjoyable and #5 fits perfectly along with the others. It's a series that works mainly on the charm and performance of the lead, and Turner Clay once again delivers. Nothing particularly scary here, just a fun mystery with a good lead, and that's really all it needs. Looking forward to the next installment (and hopefully many more).
