Seems like the director of photography has an obsession with slow-motion scenes.

Its like everything was a slow-motion.

Also, alot of walking around.

And then the narrator sitting at the fire with the teen? Ridiculous.

The least that they could have done was show that chick without clothes.

Luckily I didn't have to pay to see this garbage.

Don't waste your time.

The Law of the Steppe

A group of Huns are nomads and raiders, although the clan size is very small. They killed all the people of one tribe except for Khora (Maria Sokolskaya) who they plan on roasting at the stake tomorrow. During the night she is cut loose and escapes with a man from the Huns. They are hunted. Injured, they seek refuge with another tribe who want to unite all the clans. Khora wants revenge on the Huns.

The story is told as a flashback to the daughter Of Khora so she knows about her mother. The film would have taken place sometime after the beginning of the Iron Age since they have metal swords, yet they have no blacksmith in their group so they must get them from trade or capture. They worship the sky. This is a Russian film and not very well made.
