Wild Boar (2020) is a movie I recently grabbed off Amazon Prime. The storyline focuses on a group of family and friends that enjoy going exploring. One of their expeditions takes them to a reservoir that's a gate to another world overrun by mutant pig/boar humans. This movie is directed by Barney Burman in his directorial debut and stars Jessica Sonneborn (The Haunting of Alice D), Daniel Roubuck (The Fugitive) and Douglas Trait (Anabelle Comes Home). The storyline for this was a lot of fun and reminded me of Planet of the Apes in a lot of ways. I loved the makeup and costumes in this but the acting was absolutely terrible and tried to ruin it. The premise was worth following and the killing, once it gets started is super quick and intense. If you can get through the terrible acting and watch it till they cross into Boar World, this is worth your time. I'd score it a 5/10.
