Local units call on the help of the Interceptors when a car weaving across the road fails to stop. Sgt. Gerry Parker and Roger Watson are on the lookout for a VW Passat suspected of syphoning diesel from a lorry and Rob Barlow and Emily Freeman are sent to check on a suspicious vehicle posing as a phoney ambulance. The Eurocopter is called out to assist with a speeding BMW and Russel Gay stops a driver with a badly cracked windscreen.

Grant Snow and Shaun Gurney are sent to an incident where a violent drunk is assaulting a helpless female and then runs off. Along with some Street Marshalls and local police they set off in pursuit aided by CCTV footage. Sgt. Gerry Parker and Roger Watson are on the look-out for thieves in a black Astra they suspect has been used to steal boiler units from plumbing merchants. The air support unit track a stolen car speeding dangerously at night without lights and Grant takes a cocky boy racer to task for having illegal rear reflectors and a fake German number plate.

Andy Donaghy and Stuart Burch decide to follow a dodgy Mondeo going too fast and as they speed off the car crashes out of control. The four passengers make a run for it as the car is stolen; one is quickly apprehended but the hunt is on for the other three. Rob and Emily are on the lookout for a suspicious Ford Escort which has failed to stop on a previous occasion. The car is stopped and the driver is found to have what turns out to be a brand new stolen lorry winch. A team is sent to check on a man standing on a bridge over the M25 who is threatening to jump, causing traffic mayhem when the motorway is closed.

The Metropolitan police have reported that a stolen Astra Estate is heading to Essex at speed. Biggers is lying in wait and is soon in pursuit followed by other units, but everything isn't quite what it seems. The Interceptors, aided by local units, raid a house suspected of being a cannabis farm. Grant Snow and Kirsty Potterton follow up on a report of a burglary and soon come across a suspicious car that fits the profile. Three of the team, Emily, Rob and Flynny have to break into an empty upstairs flat as a serious water leak is flooding the house below.

A Mitsubishi Shogun has just been stolen from a car valet business and Ian Flynn together with Emily Freeman are in hot pursuit, but a sudden street domestic assault puts a temporary halt to their chase so the Eurocopter and other pursuit cars take over. Emily and Steve Syrett are sent to a breaker's yard to search for a stolen £30,000 BMW fitted with a tracking device and when they find it they uncover a number of other stolen expensive cars ready for dismantling. Grant Snow and Shaun Gurney stop a couple of antisocial boy racers on an icy snow covered road.

'Biggers', Stuart Burch and negotiator Emma Brookes are on their way to a house where a 70 year old man is on the roof and threatening to jump off, and it's Emma's job to talk him down. Biggers and Andy Donaghy are driving their Evo 8 when suddenly they hear a horrifying sound - the car's transmission has fallen off, leaving them stranded. Shaun and Grant arrest thieves who have stolen a number of bags containing clothes meant for charity.

Following a 999 call by a concerned neighbour, Shaun Gurney and Grant Snow collar five suspected car thieves who don't have any reason to be where they are, and are convinced they had intended to steal a high value car. As an unexpected bonus, they find two further stolen cars in the same location. Emily and Steve assist Russ Jardine with two suspect drivers and two suspect vans, one of which turns out to be stolen. Andy Donaghy and Biggers attend a three car shunt on the M25 which is causing serious traffic delays.

Biggers leads the hunt for a Mitsubishi Warrior stolen from the owner's driveway, but loses track of it, however it was spotted the next day and the team are determined to get it this time. Grant Snow leads a team to a house suspected of being a cannabis farm where they find a huge quantity of the plants with a street value of over £100,000. The air support helicopter helps officers track down three on-the-run car thieves in a pitch dark field. Andy Fitch and Penny Felton stop a postman delivering mail using his own car, but he has no MOT, business insurance and has been driving illegally without a licence for thirteen years after receiving a 6 month ban in 1987 having failed to re-apply.

It's New Year's Eve and with an array of late night clubs in the area the Interceptors have their work cut out for them, including drunks causing fights and an array of assaults to investigate, and the team attend a report of a man with a knife making drunken threats. The Eurocopter assists with tracking and the arrest of three thieves in a van, and Biggers stops a car containing crack cocaine worth over £10,000. Heavy snow and frost causes havoc in the county, and the team stop a number of cars for tax, MOT and insurance offences.

Two Interceptor teams box in a suspected drug car on the M25 and as they do so the occupant is seen swallowing what they think may be drugs, even as they pull him from his car. Denis Logie and Stuart Birch stop an unlicenced Kosovan driving on a fake licence and a team attend a serious accident on the A13 where a BMW is a write-off and the driver is badly hurt. A team of interceptors and undercover officers locate and shut down an illegal radio station, and Grant and Shaun stop and arrest an unlicenced drunk driver.

Five units pursue a Toyota bound for London containing four burglars who have stolen a 42 inch plasma TV in a house burglary, and Shaun and Grant arrest three suspicious youths in the middle of the night carrying what they call a 'burglar's toolkit'. The Interceptors pursue a BMW that had previously failed to stop during a 140mph pursuit, the air support team track an illegal mini motorbike riding off road causing a nuisance and driving dangerously, and some of the team have a bit of fun on an old Evo converted into a driving game simulator.

A number of interceptors ditch their patrol cars and pile into a police van and patrol en masse to control public order offences, and their first call is an arrest of mouthy violent drunk in breach of an ASBO. In Colchester a brawl has broken out but even in large numbers they have difficulty with some of the drunks. Now back in their cars, Biggers stops a van on fake plates suspected of stealing fuel from a number of garages, Rob Barlow is on the lookout for a stolen dumper truck and the Eurocopter assists in locating another two stolen diggers hidden in a lorry.

The Eurocopter is called into action to help track and stop a speeding car containing two men who've stolen a large amount of money from a security van, and Andy Donaghy and Paul Glensman stop a car containing a large quantity of stolen alcohol. The Eurocopter tracks a dangerous high speed biker and Shaun and Grant stop another dangerous biker who, after making an obscene hand gesture to the unit turns out to be more arrogant than apologetic for his actions. A boy racer takes a bend too fast and smashes his car into signposts.

New recruits Mark Fulbrook and Steve Taylor collar two youths carrying a flat screen TV and find a treasure trove of jewellery and medals from a burglary. Thanks to their suspicions the goods were returned to their owners. A car thief sets off on a dangerous high speed getaway before being captured with the aid of the Eurocopter. Andy Donaghy stops a stolen Astra and after back-up arrives the driver decides to turn violent. Andy Fitch and Penny Felton perform a rolling traffic block following a two-car crash on the A13.
