- Several teens are seen kissing at a party (m/f and f/f couples).
- In season 2, a girl walks in on a boy doing breathing exercises (while squeezing stress balls). She says "sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt your ball squeezing"
- The main character walks into a room at a party to find a couple kissing. The boy asks her if she wants to join them.
- Ari's sister tells him to keep his bedroom door ajar while his girlfriend is over.

- Flashback of an accident causes panic attacks in a teen that can be frightening to young kids. Teen girl gets caught up in turbulent waters. In one episode a fire emerges from a grill and causes a big explosion causing the hut to be set on fire.
- There is a great deal of contention between a teenager and her mother (who is usually out of town).
- Throughout season 2 a jealous girl commits several malicious acts to ruin another girl's life (while smiling and pretending to be her friend). The effects on the victim's life can be stressful to watch.
- Teenagers often break rules, sometimes also breaking the law. A few times this involves property damage.

Sex & Nudity
- A boy asks a girl if he can enter her tent during a camping trip. When they are alone in the tent together, they kiss. Nothing explicit happens, but the boy does have a girlfriend.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- Summer and Poppy get drunk in season 2 in episode 6 and Poppy throws a rock and breaks a window at a clothing store. The police arrive and Summer takes the blame. Summer nearly goes to jail for it.
