Excellent. But as good as Season 1 ?

Season 2 was really well made.

Good acting by all. Loved that they mixed languages to give it an indian reality.

Love the Jail scene. Hilarious !

The continuous filming sequences are really good. Nice director work.

But i think it falls a little short of season 1. Season 1 was exceptional.

Season 2 had less intensity, less humor and nothing much on the relationship side

Still a great web series. Looking for more seasons.

This is so rare where S2 is even better than S1 ! Manoj B has outdone himself & how. All the actors par excellence ! The best part , all the female characters are written so well & they are shown tough , determined & so very dependable ! A must watch.

Firstly I want to start by saying, that the title track at the end sung by Shreya Ghoshal gave me goosebumps really. This show really deserves someone like Shreya lending her voice to it.

So that single shot! Damn, that single shot! 8 minute long single shot. Are you kidding me? Goodfellas has done it, Better call Saul has one, Tarantino too has done it in Kill Bill and other films, but who did it the best? It's THE FAMILY MAN!!! Spine chilling that was. What a fine job the editors have done. Of course, not to forget the action director also should be given due credit, for that was simply phenomenal and some of the most thrilling moments in an Indian show ever.

This being a sequel, I was honestly not expecting it to be very good. Indian shows have always suffered from the curse of the bad sequels.

Sacred Games season 1 was mind blowing, but season 2, very good but nowhere near to the first season.

Mirzapur 1 amazing, but season 2, meh and very disappointing.

The only exception to this imo until now was Breathe. While Breathe season 1 was breathtaking, season 2, Into the shadows was still pretty fantastic!

Even in case of The Family Man, season 1 was a breath of fresh air, sweet, interesting and thrilling. But season 2 story wise in my opinion is superior to season 1. Yes Family 1 was like an introduction, there were more family moments, moments that we could relate to, but when it comes to overall story, Season 2 takes the cake.

The cinematography in season 2 is literally the best that I have seen in any Indian show. It's easily distinguishable and will catch your eye. There were so many times I felt like taking screenshots, but of course you can't do that on Prime video. All these things may seem small but definitely do raise the quality.

Every actor in this show is a true actor and does full justice to their respective role. Manoj Bajpayee, enough can't be said about this man. He's an absolute gem of an actor. The girl who plays Dhrithi is again fantastic. Others too, Priyamani, the lil kid who plays Atharv, Sharib Hashmi are all too good. But special mention to the guy who plays the role of Muthu. He's a new character and I thought he was simply outstanding. Though he didn't have a very big role, he was a part of the squad and had little moments in every episode and he acted beautifully. Samantha was again brilliant and the girl can even do action wonderfully. She acted with her eyes in this and managed to create tension in every scene that she was in.

I know I'm a little late in reviewing, but that's because I like to take my time and watch stuff in a relaxed manner. I'm not into binge watching and like to savour things. But I just want to end by saying, the wait was worth it. Great job to the entire team of this show. It was nothing but top notch and top tier quality! 10/10

Very few Indian series carry forward their legacy to the next season. NGL 2nd season is even better than 1st. Kudos to all the actors. Storyline & direction is splendid. Manoj Bajpai is a gem💎.

Can't wait for 3rd season🙂.

That's how you start a episode and finish a season. Just GREAT.

Another long one take shot and it's the longest among three. I think Raj & DK has now mastered in one take sequences.

Also they've hinted for next season and I'll wait for that.

Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant & Sharib Hashmi as JK is one the most ENTERTAINING DUOS I've watched.

Family Man was and will always be my favourite show of all time.

This season is even better than the first one

Family man is as good as a masterpiece. This season's story is more mature, smarter and faster. Performances were extraordinary, everyone has given their best, specially Samantha, she stole the show actually. Manoj sir is awesome as always. Kudos to Raj and DK. Waiting for Third season.

Highly recommended. Better than the season 1.

The Family Man Season 2 is a near perfect blend of a well written screenplay reflecting a superior direction to bring the best out of the actors telling the story. Manoj Vajpayee's world class performance... And Samantha Akkineni has nailed it, extra ordinary performance.

The subtleness is completely missin and the ending regarding the character Raji is a big meh n rushed. It never showed the atrocities the poor Tamilians suffered.

I loved the first season. I loved the subtleness, the one liners, the ambiguous ending, Gul Panag's hard hitting dialogues, etc.

This one seemed a bit rushed n far fetched.

Also i feel the ending is a big meh n very much rushed.

In the review of the last episode of season 01, i had a question about the disappearance of Kareem's girlfriend. Well, this 2nd season cleared my doubts.

The way they ended the second season's last episode (this one) is very intriguing.

I have my own conspiracy theory regarding the coronavirus. I think some medical students from HongKong must have released the virus in the air.

Since China is very strict with facial monitoring and the recent protests in HongKong had put the protesters at risk cos their faces were all over.

To make sure that people are forced to wear masks due to the virus, it helps the students, protesters, etc to hide their faces.

In his book, The Tragedy of Sri Lanka, William McGowan wrote:

While travelling on a bus when a mob laid siege to it, passengers watched as a small boy was hacked 'to limb-less death'. The bus driver was ordered to give up a Tamil. He pointed out a woman who was desperately trying to erase the mark on her forehead-called a kumkum-as the thugs bore down on her. The woman's belly was ripped open with a broken bottle and she was immolated as people clapped and danced. In another incident, two sisters, one eighteen and one eleven, were decapitated and raped, the latter 'until there was nothing left to violate and no volunteers could come forward', after which she was burned. Entertaining but seriously flawed

Series is quite entertaining especially the acting of almost every cast members. But there is such a huge flaw in making it look realistic. For a trained agents to capture and thwart terrorist, their gun shooting skills looks amateur. Also, if intel is strong that Prime Ministers life in jeopardy then where is the highly trained commando or army to take out these terrorists?! It seemed at all times they lacked man-power and fire power compared to the terrorists. Lastly the scene where the bomb explodes mid-air is so unrealistic compared to the amount of C4 that was stuffed in the plane that can take out an entire block of a city.

Overall entertaining to watch but writers and director can fix to make it look more realistic.

Excellent plot and presentation. While watching the show, the viewer will get connected to Srikant's family to such an extent that he/she'll feel as if he is their family friend. Just fabulous. Waiting for season 3👌😍😘

Superb season. Normally season beyond 1st tends not to hold it and go downward in rating but not this one. Basically its better than season 1. Can't wait for Season 3.

If anyone reading this, it's a review of whole 2nd season from my side.

It starts along with a new story line and this time we are under attack from our southern side(not southern India although) as earlier it was from northern Western side.

It's a bit lengthy but see the positive side that every minute details, story side is covered and explored. Raj & DK OMG!!! What to say about these visionary duos.

So I just want to add that JK & Sri duo No words no words I mean yrr what a perfect duo perfect friends and perfect colleagues they are. Every young adult would relate with him that how one abuses his best friend in daily life and daily job in regular talk as we normally do(we all know ) I can say that this friendship is the best highlight of 2nd season alongwith the manoj bajpayee sir's acting. Yeah it is as always as top notch.

So just go for it and at the end u have a big surprise and also a special tasc agent which you would fall in love with him

And I don't want to add much I liked it and loved it so you should also watch and then come back here.

Undoubtedly 'THE' greatest webseries ever. The expectations from season 2 were hugh but after watching season 2, now I think season 1 which I loved so much was just absolutely nothing compared to the season 2!!!! The season 2 belongs to two people i.e. Manoj Bajpai & the surprise element, Samantha!!!...what a marvelous performance man!!!!!

Hats off to the entire team of family man 2 & what a thrilling climax!!!!!! I can't wait for the season 3...This guys have raised their bar to another level. Thanks a ton and a BIG salute to the entire team for this Epic Masterpiece.

In the end, I'm a proud Manoj Bajpai fan.
