I'm a huge fan of the sport of curling, a sport that alas, has few movies made for it. I first found out about this indie movie from being an admin of Rockheads! Curling group on Facebook and got a follow from the movie's Twitter account.

The few movies revolving around this sport are on the quirky side; certainly this one and the other being Men With Brooms that I highly recommend. There are a few foreign Curling movies as well; Move of The Penguin and Kong Curling are other, neither of which I have yet to see, but the plots on both sound like fun, too.

This movie is a little off the wall, doesn't have 'big names' (which works for it) and maybe not everyone's cup of tea but no nearly as dire IMO as the other reviews suggest.

The sport could do with more curling movies, bring 'em on!

LONGEST Hour & 14 Minutes of your LIFE

Considering this movie is only 1 hour & 14 minutes long, it drags along as if being played in slow motion. Bad acting, bad script. I would highly suggest giving this a pass. I've enjoyed waiting in line at the DMV or at a doctor's office more than this film.

Held up only by the talented cast.

I have been highly anticipating this movie for months. It's great to see Mike Grogan and KK Brunson acting again. I Thoroughly enjoyed the cast in this movie. The cast was the only great part of this film. Perhaps a a re-watch is in order.

Seriously, you'd get more entertainment from a 75-minute recording of steaming dog excrement. There really have been far better and more entertaining films left on unrinsed windows.

An utter insult to the intellect of even the dimmest of society, this monstrosity is a dire waste of electrons - and quite a statement on the state of the mental health care system which allows the creators of such to continue roaming the streets unmedicated.

This film will leave you speechless...Watch it!

This film was certainly something. First off I don't understand the plot. It was just a scheme by Gordon's father just to keep the Gadbury curling legacy? Just so they could go to regionals? Then the best curling team is has one of its members killed off and everyone cheered!

Besides the story, the horrible scenic shots and music transition scenes seemed only there to meet a time quota.

If the actors were self-aware then the acting deserves high praise, but if they weren't self-aware then its pretty bad. KK Brunson is underused and not given enough character development. She gets the film going but then is left with nothing but two strippers living/working at her house (and the love of her father which is actually pretty touching).

This film uses so many different film techniques and styles that is confusing what they were trying to be. Was it comedy/sports/thriller/party? These techniques were distracting and yet I couldn't take my eyes off the film.

In conclusion, this film features poor acting, story, script, and editing but everyone should definitely watch it! I see this film gaining cult status in a few years. I honestly hope there is a sequel!

Pure entertainment here. Hysterical script with some very interesting surprises. Cast is excellent with a very natural chemistry. Highly recommend if you're looking for a laugh. Would not be surprised if the Academy gives Gerri Curls the best pic nom it's that good.
