Acting by all the cast is superb. All the characters are lovable. Film has its little twists and turns as well. Film is little long other then that it is a very good movie.

Simple, humble and heartfelt. Nice performances by the entire cast. Cute and innocent writing by Biswapati Sarkar. The trailer promised a simple, laid-back, no deep messaging movie and it was exactly that. Of course it's not as outstanding as other TVF projects but is still quite likeable. Delivers an enjoyable movie experience.

The story is set in Neemuch bylanes (a small town in Madhya Pradesh) and revolves around Meenu (Jitendra Kumar), a simpleton who aspires to be a famous magician just like his Guruji Magician Chhabra (Manoj Joshi). Things change for him when he falls head over heels in love with Dr. Disha (Arushi Sharma), who has her own troubled past. However, when Meenu meets Disha's father, he is challenged to win the football game in order to win Disha's hand in marriage. But, the odds aren't in his favour - Disha doesn't reciprocate his feelings, and his team hasn't won a game in years.
Another track follows a flawed team of players who compete in a prestigious inter-colony football tournament, including office workers, shopkeepers, teachers, and regular middle-class people. They all have one thing in common: they don't have the best skills, but play the game with all their hearts. Pradeep Narag (Jaaved Jaaferi), a former player and Meenu's Uncle, coaches them all with the goal of fulfilling his brother's one and only wish by winning the championship. But how far does he really go ? Will Pradeep be able to assemble a team capable of bringing the trophy home ? Will Meenu be able to woo his true love ? All this and more are answered in the film's nearly three-hour runtime.
The writers (Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena) manage to hold one's attention for most part of the film; however, the pace slackens in the second half and could have benefitted from a tighter edit. Also, the pre-interval run is high on energy, while the post-interval run is high on drama; a better balance could have earned the film some brownie points. The protagonist's circumstances increase the intensity, and one-liners induce humour in the first half. The majority of the second half, however, is spent on the field, where the Neemuch team competes against teams from neighbouring colonies. We don't see them practicing; instead, players and viewers are constantly reminded of how important it is to win this trophy, making it difficult for spectators to become involved in any of the games.
Jitendra Kumar is well-known in the OTT space for his role as Jeetu Bhaiya from 'Kota Factory'. Jeetu nails every mood and nuance of his character seamlessly blending into the small-town milieu. He carries the film on his shoulders confidently but lacks support from the writing department.
Jaaved Jaaferi doesn't do much of the heavy lifting: he plays his part as he is expected to. Arushi Sharma, who made her acting debut in 'Love Aaj Kal 2', portrays her role convincingly in her first OTT appearance. But, the romantic angle between her character Disha and Jitendra's character Meenu falls flat. Meenu's affection for Kulfi, on the other hand, appears to be more genuine.
The film had plenty of room for music because it fits into the romantic genre better than sports drama. The songs are not memorable, with the exception of the title track 'Jaadugiri', which is hummable and appears during the dream sequence in which Meenu first sees Disha.
Even when the film falls flat in some places, it is Jitendra who conceals it with his effortless charm and nuanced acting. It is also refreshing to see Javed, fit and fab in the 60s, acing the coach's role in Jaadugar. The frames of Soumik Mukherjee and Nilotpal Bora's music breathe life into the town of Neemuch.
At the end of Jaadugar, Meenu gets to perform the "real magic" on the football ground, as he resonates with Chhabra's golden words, which are paraphrased from Baazigar - "Asli Jaadugar Dil Behlane Wale Ko Nahi, Dil Jeetne Wale Ko Kehte Hain." Jaadugar strives arduously to win our hearts, but just that it needed a lot more jaadu and a lot less baazi.

Very simple drama and characters makes this movie unique. Even the small situations and with small sweet dialogs makes it a wonderful watch. When it is getting overdone, we will get some repetitive and boredom in the second half. The first half and the climax are note worthy but the sports portions were utter blunder.
The core plot of the movie is magic and football. It has succeeded very well in magic but failed miserably in the sports. Magic was fun and entertaining. Sports were more sentimental than entertaining.
The chemistry between doctor and Jadugar was totally indigestible, I am not talking about cast, its totally on characters. The characters were hanging in the story and the reasons for the sports also not convincing.
With all this flaws, it is quite enjoyable watch because of its simplicity and funny presentation.

The movie is based on small village of football lovers director Sameer Saxena who is a part of TVF team have created a nice soft humours movie believe me I have never seen such a hilarious football game..the character of jeetu as Meenu was one of its kind and he played outstanding..small small dialogues expressions with roadside Romeo character of Jeetu will make you light hearted and smile..Arushi was looking dam pretty onscreen..Javed also carried his humour very well .. The emotions were little carried away with the songs which were boring
I have always believed and confronted that content is the king and see where content has taken jeetu from small screen to a big screen hero

After a long time bollywood has given a piece which can be watched and enjoyed with whole family together (and not separately). Jitendra kumar (Meenu) performed well and carried the act smoothly. Though at a very few places he did gave the scene glitch (i would say glitch as the smoothness is rippled). Storyline is well placed in order. Most senior artist, Javed Jafri, could have performed better (i can say this because he is a very good actor). 5 out of 10 for Javed, 8 for jitendra. 7 for the movie over all.

Javed Jafri steels the show. Equally good perforated from everyone else. Great movie. Loved the storyline. Jitendra has a knack of capturing the moments that can trigger the right emotions at the right time. Hats of to him and team to manage that.

Firstly the movie is very well written, the characters are lovely and everyone has given a superb performance
It's a good family movie, the reason why I have rated it 8 is coz the movie is a little bit slow and as a view you might get a little distracted in the middle

Anwar Says: TVFians combined this time and tried to create magic which has failed on every front, except on acting. So disappointed to watch the sloppy writing of Biswapati Sarcar, who has given brilliants like Pitchers and Permanent Roommates.
Direction of Sameer Saxena , who also puts onscreen appearance as Dr. Doshi (the commentator) is totally confused, chosen subject like football, and magic and tried to put Tadka of love but the multiple tangent do not reach to any cohesion.
Only the performance of actors would let you finish this almost three hours long unsteady and miserably slow in momentum movie. Jitendra Kumar tried harder in his subtle way but when the foundation is weak, what can he do. Javed Jaffrey sufferings are more a comic. Avoid and better repeat Cubicles or pitchers.

Loved this movie. After a loong time this is a film which I was able to enjoy with my whole family, my parents, brother etc., without feeling awkward. This movie feels like oldie goldies, like Amol Palekar or Hrishikesh Mukherjee movies. It is a lighthearted rom-com with no kissing scenes, good comedy where all characters have a balanced role. It's slighly longer than normal movies but at no time our family felt bored or that we needed a break.
I got emotionally invested even in the side characters who have performed excellently. Plus it gives an important message about love and importance of family.
A rare gem in this day and age. I hope we get more such films to see!

Centred around local football enthusiasts and a local tournament, this sports drama is infused with cute amateur love and magic (no pun intended).
With few good comic lines thrown here and there, it's a family flick well enacted by Jitendra Kumar, Jaaved Jaffrey, Manoj Joshi and team.

First of all, the storyline of this series is just amazing, and the acting is just amazing. However, the story could be more interesting, but they did a very good job of acting. Overall, a sublime movie with amazing acting and story.

It's very fresh movie. No heroism no extra drama just a natural Movie. You will totally enjoy the movie thorough out. Small humorous punches but very impactfull till end. Movie is very grounded and it has almost everything in it. Story, Humour and Emotions.

The movie is awesome. Very simple storyline. Amazing acting and the comic timing is superb.. The story connects to a lot of middle class families and brings back the memories of the life in colonies. Jittu is brilliant as expected but so are other actors.

Director Sameer Saxena is seems like giving all his experience of uniquely working style of TVFs. Direction is good except some scene where typical bollywood kind of feel comes for exm, when whole ground starts singing song to motivate loosing team.
Writer Biswapati Sarkar makes you believe in story and we can relatively connected with our real lives unlike typical bollywood remakes.
Actor Jitendra Kumar proves again that he needs no complement. He is natural actor and fits in any role or challenges ahead him. Other actors played their role fantastically. May be Actress Arushi Sharma's first big role which she performed good.
I will give 7/10 for Jaadugar (2022), funny, watchable, entertainment.

Must watch. This movie is like a song - beautiful and emotion-evoking. I cried at least 2 times while watching the movie. (Maybe more to do with my residual emotions than the movie itself 😂)
Biswapati Sarkar's writing is simply brilliant (fun fact : spotted Biswapati Sarkar in one of the scenes haha).
Everyone's acting in the movie was brilliant. Especially Manoj Joshi.
What I loved about this movie was the fact that it picks up a very relatable person as the protagonist in Jeetu bhaiya. The character is as immature as it can get. This character doesn't understand true meaning of love or magic. The character has good intentions and in his own words "I'm not a bad person". He is taken on a journey where he is taught both love and magic.
The immaturity of this character exists in most of us and people around us. The movie reminds what it means to love someone in most simple way possible. We forget that love is an active choice. We forget that love is difficult. We forget that its not as easy as saying "I love you" or giving gifts on birthday. We forget that love is effort but the rewards of love are beautiful.
This movie also highlights grief and how different people deal with grief.
There were parts of this movie which I didn't like.
1/ Obviously, it gets unrealistic and dramatic at times but its a "love"ly movie. The parts, which to me were unrealistic were how the protagonist changes so easily. I think people don't change so easy without failing hard or trauma. The magic was unrealistic too. So was the unbelievable team playing football.
2/ The movie closes the loop on main love story and the heroine's father. It doesn't close a few loops properly like the protagonist's relationship with his chacha (which I think could have gotten a better closure), the guy with the hand issue etc. Would have loved to see few more loops closing.

As my tag line says , doesn't matter what TVS comes up with, it's gonna hit for sure.
The whole cast is superb, well acted and believable. I have enjoyed every second of it.
Only problem which stopped me to giving it 10/10 is you just can't made the main character or hero of the film shady. While everyone was rooting for Adarsh Nagar Team to win the trophy but our main hero playing hideous which I don't like or prefer to watch and not expected from TVF especially.
That's all. Special mention for the whole team and Arushi for a superb job.
And I am nobody to comment on our Legendary Jeetu Bhaiya.

TVF you have come a long way. I got slightly interested to explore the cast, story-line, director, writer etc just because of the poster. Jeetu was in it, and he really is a fine actor. And knowing that it is written by Biswapati Sarkar and directed by Sameer Saxena, produced by Amit Golani...I had to watch it. And I did not regret a single moment.
In the beginning I felt that it started with a typical web-series setting but slowly it turned into a feature film. The story line is simple, clear and knowable but the film is not about the story but the decision ( I will not reveal much about it here).
Biswapati is as usual excellent in writing the script, the way he wrote Pitchers. The story gets matured as you watch and realise that it is indeed interesting. The direction is balanced and exports each and every character so that it gets enhanced. However, two actors I personally felt were miscast : Javed Jaffri and Manoj Joshi...but in all there was a good setting of the film. Rest of the cast I think is a perfect fit.
The film holds laughter, emotions, and character's position in tough as well as easy times, simply telling us what to do as an individual.

Jeetu is very good when he gets to play an average guy with his limitations. Take an example of panchayat. This movie has tried to use that legacy however it stumbles in places because of the script. The climax has been artificially and forcefully created. Magics tricks shown are very unimaginative.however the football ground scenes are good,filled with light hearted comedy.arushi is average in her role as "disha". Really didn't understand though the chemistry between her father and her character.

The writing, direction and acting is impressive in this light hearted movie, except the protagonist Jeetu. He's good in some parts of the movie, but not mostly.
I've seen other work of him in pitchers, kota factory etc, and he shines everywhere but not sure what happened this time. It was a bit on and off. Rest the entire cast and crew shines, and leaves an impact. Good film overall.
