Above average, obscure, but easy to acquire

A prison breaks starts the story. The five criminals get right to the murder and rape. They get their revenge on the man who sent them to prison. Two students of that man, a woman and a man who previously never met, unite to get their revenge on the escapees.

The fights are all hand to hand. The action has to be over 50% of the runtime. Sometimes it gets sloppy but it never gets boring.

My copy is a digital file that plays on a HDTV as widescreen with English subtitles. This appears to be a fan edit. The subtitles are good with only a few typos. The resolution is comparable to an old VHS tape.

I was unaware this movie existed and randomly came across a copy. Even as a hard core fan of the genre, the only actor I recognized was Phillip Ko Fei. To my surprise this movie is a solid above average martial arts movie of the 1970s. I have watched thousands of these movies and to come across one I never heard of that is actually good is like finding a diamond in the dirt. There will come a time no more will ever be found but today is not that day.

I recommend this movie for all fans of martial arts movies of the golden age from 1967 to 1984 and rate it just above average.
