Sex & Nudity

  • A woman is being mildly touched by a group of henchmen. Non-graphic, as everyone is fully clothed and only the face and arms are being touched.
  • Rare kissing and mild physical affection while fully clothed. Non-graphic, but being the main action onscreen and closeup
  • A shot of a male urinating. The urine stream is the main focus of the camera.

Violence & Gore

  • While not showing any extreme gore onscreen, the entire movie primarily consists of brutal mass fights and killings of people in as many different ways as possible. The plot strongly focuses on presenting those people as almost comically evil to justify the protagonist's actions.
  • A family, including a young girl, are being held hostage while treated roughly and threatened with violence by the antagonist.
  • The opening scene has a bloody fight with a close up as an eye is stabbed then a shot of same, a blood curdling scream as hero self mutilates to dislocate thumbs, numerous blood splatters as manacles are smashed into faces and finishes with a cutaway as a sledgehammer is put into a villains head.

Profanity

  • Strong profanity is used sparsely and is mainly emphatic in order to draw additional attention to the topic at hand.
  • Henchmen characters use crude and simple language throughout the movie. While often being rude, they almost always use very mild or no actual profanity in speech.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A mug of an unnamed alcoholic beverage is shared between some of the characters at one point, all being of legal age. No one is ever appearing drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The story surrounds the titular princess and her family being kept hostage during a plot to steal their kingdom. Characters are often threatened and treated poorly, which, in addition to the general feeling of an inescapable captivity, might seem slightly frightening to some.
  • A few scenes that begin actions sequences start very suddenly and unexpectedly, which could be classified as a very mild type of a jump scare by some.
  • Several scenes occur where the titular princess has to pass through tight spaces, which could be somewhat frightening to viewers suffering from claustrophobia.
  • A few scenes occur where the titular princess is in danger of falling from a large height, which could be somewhat frightening to viewers suffering from acrophobia.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Possibly, the most graphic and violent deaths occur for the two main antagonists - a decapitation and a hanging. Both are shown onscreen for the majority of their duration.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Viewers are made to believe that the main character's friend is killed, which soon after is revealed to be false. This could be upsetting to some, as, even with dozens of gruesome deaths happening in the movie, the only characters that die are the ones killed in self-defense by the protagonists.
