Sex & Nudity

  • Hardly any. Two suitors proposed to Lucy on the same day and she made a choice and this happened before the film even starts. It's mentioned throughout and it's a strong theme for the film but there's as strong as it gets.

Violence & Gore

  • Very mild for a vampire film.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Very mild. One character has a nasty shock and another character mentions getting the first one a brandy. A couple of drinks are then shown. That's it.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Moderate. The first part of the movie concerns an investigation into an ill woman and there are scenes of blood transfusion (but no blood shown) and discussion of symptoms and a sense of dread. The woman then becomes a vampire and the focus shifts to accepting her transformation and the traumatic way to deal with it.
