Much better.

After two solid, but decidedly slow episodes, the series moves up a notch, this episode was faster paced, more exciting, to put it bluntly it had a lot more meat on the bone.

We are treated to a faster paced, more exciting episode, this was actually filled with tension too, the scenes were Martin is stuck in the House were excellent.

Clarke is terrific once again, and it was great to learn more about Martin's relationships past and present, we learn more about the dynamic between him and Zoe and Hayley.

Very good, 8/10.

Although CID still regard Greg Sullivan as the main suspect for his wife's disappearance.

DC Martin King turns his attention towards Carl Tuckman in the neighbouring flat.

He was having an affair with Gemma. Some years earlier Carl's first wife disappeared in mysterious circumstances. This is something that has caused a rupture with his brother in law from that first marriage.

Although it is nice that the show has broadened out the suspects. It has also teased some romance between Martin and Zoe.

I felt listless watching this. It was just too padded and I just knew this should had been over and done with in two parts.

I even got bored of all those fancy shots of Manchester.
