Reviewing the Kinks

First let me say that I found this to be a funny short. I could certainly see something like this playingh out in this manner.

I think it was a lite hearted telling of the common issues many of us go through in terms of our social adult lives.

I think the film was shot well, and I think it was written very well. I thought the acting was on point for the most part. I could see this being a little series in the vein of a red shoe diaries or something.

That could be interesting.

The only issue was the sound felt kind of echo-ish to me at times. To me it was not enough to ruin anything though.

Give it a shot!

Working Out the Kinks Review

Warning: Spoilers
Overall I enjoyed this film. I thought it was funny at the interaction between the two female characters. I felt that their conversation times aided in the comical aspects of the film.

The relationship advice given by the mother was entertaining because it was geared towards her father. What made it even better was that the daughter was ultimately following said advice.

The way the two leads come to a point to meet is very funny. It makes me think of how many situations may result in similar ways .

The manly trucker is led by the balls so to speak by a forward thinking female.

I enjoyed it!

Love the Truck'r App name!

Warning: Spoilers
It's a funny premise that Julie's mom urges her not to look for a doctor or lawyer to date, but a trucker.

This film is short and sweet, which works in the case of this film. Some films I feel like need a little more to better explain things, but this one gets it right as far as length. I got a chuckle seeing the Truck'r app on the screen.

As simple as the water jug was as far as a prop goes, it was actually quite memorable.

I was cracking up at the awkward interaction between Julie and her new trucker beau. Jeff Phoenix does a great job acting awkward and almost inexperienced in the bedroom.

The two actors play well off of each other.

I appreciated the "ticking" off of traits that would pop up on the screen, A unique touch that made this film quirkier and funnier.

The dialogue is pretty witty and will have you chuckling throughout. The insult session at the end is hilarious. A fun watch if you're in the mood from some adult comedy.
