This is a step up for netflix. If you compare this to Awake, another Netflix tv show to win big money, Sing on definitely comes out on top. I like the idea of golden notes as well.

Could be a 10/10 but I give it a 5: Host is not funny. At all! Too much talking, camera often shows more host dancing and grimacing, than actual contestants. Starting from the first song, you will see that contestants are not equal in their singing abilities (and it goes to Spanish and German version too), so it's quite predictable who will win right from the first song.

Finally a singing competition for the rest of us who can't sing

I love the concept of this show, I love karaoke so much so the idea of earning money while doing karaoke is great... Plus it was about time of all the 100 different singing competitions, someone made a comeption just to have fun(cash is still great)... I would give it a 10 but if - 1 for the inaccurate analyzer (watch it closely) and - 3 for the host who thinks he is entertaining

It's quite entertaining and the prize money are very high if compared to a Swedish show. It's true that most of the contestants can't really sing and it's often surprising that people that actually can sing score very low, but the computer says different. After all it's fun to watch.

It's not about singing. Best singers don't win in the show because they are either eliminated by other contestants or given the part of the song that is impossible to gain many points in... pre directed, time wasting show.

The singers on this show are awful and the host is sooo annoying! It's like the first 2 episodes of American Idol without Simon there to make it funny.

FUN TO WATCH WITH KIDS

This had my kids singing along (7 and 9 yr olds). They loved that... they also followed the scoring so they could tell me who won the round. Very fun watch.

It's good to watch when there is nothing else to enjoy

Watching it with my husband. I feel like being in a karaoke room with bunch of friends who drink before we sing.. The contestants are oke I believe some of my friends have way better voice

But hey, that's the point of the show!

Good Clean Fun Karaoke

This show is such a breath of fresh air because finally a show about singing and just having fun. A few of the people actually have great singing voices. Most do not sing well but that's okay because it's karaoke and they are having fun. The contestants are everyday people such as teachers, nurses, college students, sales associates, etc and I love it.

They are not looking for fame but instead want to try to make it to win the big prize of up to $60,000. There are 5 rounds but only 2 are left to battle in the last round. There are themes for each show such as loves songs and country. You also get to enjoy the great host Tituss Burgess as he takes the show to another level with his lovely vocals. This is also a show that the whole family can enjoy. I can't wait for season 2!!!

Computerized judging

Singers are judged on how closely they can mimic pitch and tempo. It leaves no room for artistry, and of course, saves on judge costs.

Critical issues with this show

This game show has a lot of issues that make it pretty hard to watch, but the show is still addicting to a certain extent...

Here are the issues:

1. There are a lot of very bad singers, especially in the later episodes 2. There are a lot of songs that they probably don't know, so obviously they're gonna sing badly for those songs... Who wouldn't?

3. There's no room for artistry such as vibrato, so the best singers will perform badly because they can sing better, but score poorly due to "inconsistent" pitch. Just have a flat crappy boring tone and you'll do well.

4. There is a lot of filler, but that's expected.

Amazing house band

I have nothing else good to say. Most of the singing is embarrassing as is the technical schema of singing the correct notes. There is zero point singing the right notes if the voice behind them is awful. Too much of "the voice" for me I guess. I'm used to listening to voices I want to hear.
