Tom Hanks' movie character was a guy who at first didn't get or get along with the ladies, but then his kind of endearing drunken ways found a halfway point and they all ended up liking even loving each other, and it took almost the entire movie to reach that point...
So here Nick Offerman, who cannot act his way out of a paper bag, is the Tom Hanks former famous big league character, only instead of being drunk and funny he's mean and boring...
This show IS entertaining, and I enjoy the fact it's basically The League Word... however, it's funny that they have to take Hanks' character to become a one-dimensional villain when it would have been better not to include him at all, he's unnecessary...
Otherwise good episode; again, it's a GOOD show for what it's aiming for, despite the fact that tacking onto a classic movie made for everyone while being a hardcore League Word series is a bit much... because the series stands on its own feet, but with the title isn't ever really allowed to.
