Timely and Accurate!
sowden_jd29 July 2022
This film has a lot we will all recognize from the 2020 lockdown. It really was the first test of being locked in with our loved ones and seeing how we would fare. Filled with anticipation, anxiety and great cinematography, this film did a nice job summing up a lot of what it was like in 2020!

Strong lead actor
lbarker084 July 2022
It's really cool that they focused this on current events, especially the 2020 pandemic and Black Lives Matter. The beginning was especially powerful to set the scene. The male lead, NJ Brown, is a really strong presence on screen. The cinematography and production design are great! The film looks beautiful.

Movie makes you feel better about your last three years dealing with Covid...
r-veach24 August 2022
This is a well written movie about a topic that most producers have not experimented with. Covid has affected every person on this planet. How we all have dealt with it seems like a very personal; topic, but this film wisely brings the subject out for all to experience. The interactions of being in a quarantine environment with your significant other is explored here. We can all learn something from this great movie. I highly recommend watching this. Robert Veach.

Effective communication is necessary for lasting relationships.
kjgblessed2 July 2022
This was a good film. During quarantine a lot of relationships were challenged and this film shows how easily a world disaster and miscommunication can affect a strong relationship. The acting was okay. The overall film will challenge you to take a retrospective look within concerning your relationships. Effective communication is key.

No chemistry
bart20221 July 2022
The audience first has to feel connected to the main characters to buy into their emotional journey. The couple lacks natural chemistry and the setup feels forced. I'm not sure why I should care about these people. The movie is way too long and there is little to say that hasn't been said in dozens of other stories.

Unique film
effinbobbyd11 July 2022
Multifaceted film. The film took place during the Quarentine, and it really resonated. Things got very strange and people had a lot of anger, and were very sensitive and drinking and drugging. And really not themselves, and this movie captured that perfectly.

It was also a modern love story and the ending was very emotional-I broke down. Had to run for some Kleenex.

It also touched on some very sensitive social issues. And it was done in a masterful way. This is a Rare movie. Enjoy it.

Missed the boat
professorart29 June 2022
The problem with trying to be current is that by the time your movie is out you've already missed the boat. This story about the pandemic quarantine is long past it's shelf life. The overly drawn out script is poorly crafted with the couple going from googly eyed lovers to instant friction within the first 5 minutes. Then its 2 hours of overendulgent actors trying to make something of what appears to be a first draft of a high school script. Nothing appears natural onscreen and the sitcom ending was predictable from the onset. The story needs editing and you can easy cut 45 minutes out. The movie still wouldn't be worth it but at least the viewer would save 45 minutes of their life.

A film of the moment
thesnarkascending11 August 2022
Love N Quarantine is a very topical, very heartfelt indie that speaks of the present. It moves along at a good pace and the performances feel genuine. Nicely done.

You will love to be locked down for 2 hours with this film
tymaineclay25 July 2022
This movie really captures the strain couples endured during the quarantine that made people actually reexamine their lives for the better and for the worse. Without giving away anything, watching this couple go through the ringer makes you really question if love can overcome the stress of living in quarantine when buried feelings resurface.

When things go bad...
georgj-4805124 June 2022
This film is a story about an interracial couple, Ben and Caroline, who hit a rough patch excerbated by the Covid pandemic and resulting lockdown. While based during the pandemic, it strives to show the issues a couple like this might face, from family hesitations, to career choices, and the reluctance and subtle racism African-Americans face in the best of times. The acting was decent, the story thought provoking and a great premise given the past 2-3 years. I would have enjoyed a more emotional performance in the final conclusion, but all in all, an enjoyable film.

Excellent Covid drama
sixtymedia26 June 2022
There have been a lot of Covid based dramas made recently and this is one of the best I have seen.

Excellent perfomances from the two leads and a very nicely crafted script.

Highly recommended.

The thin line between love and hate
adorjanmarcel22 June 2022
Love is grand and easy when things are working according to a plan, but what happens when you are stuck with the one you love when the world is falling apart? Ben and Caroline get an overdose of each other and things go crazy. First it's the small things, than it escalades to the point where paranoia dictates their every move. If you feel like a wacky quarantine love/hate story, give this one a go.

Realistic and Funny, almost felt like I was watching me
rayvinj-3563623 July 2022
Love and Quarantine was a delightful surprise for me. I had just gotten married myself when the Covid-19 virus hit. So this whole movie made me feel like I was watching what I kind of went through. Not verbatim mind you, but pretty dang close. The cast of Ben Marshall played by NJ Brown and Caroline Marshall played by Jeanne Young were so convincing as a couple that I was fighting for them to stay together. Their chemistry was real and tangible and even in the comedic parts. It was still something as a couple you go through. The drama was very well woven in through out the movie and I never once was board. That says a lot. Even the other characters in this small cast were very well acted. I would have to give this a high 8 and a half. I have told many of my friends to watch this movie. David Espinosa has made a little gem.

Really enjoyed this
helmetsandshades3 July 2022
A nice little indie film about an interracial couple reassessing their marriage during the pandemic. It hits pretty close to home for all of us, but it's handled well and is more about the couple than COVID. The actors were wonderful -- and they had A LOT to do. They were believable and likable, so hat's off to them. Glad I took a chance on this.

A Great Premise
catheraneskillen19 June 2022
Ben and Caroline are living what they think is an authentic life, but when forced into lock down for days on end some feelings surface they may not have consciously known existed that disrupt their lives. There's much food for thought here. A little preachy at the end, but worth a look. The actors had some great moments, but I want to especially point out the supporting cast who don't always get the credit they deserve, Jonathan E Moore and Kenesha Mayfield, were excellent.

Fun movie

Another great film from Craig and his crew. I really enjoyed it. The acting was great and a perfect film about quarantine during a time we all faced not too long ago. Keep up the good work and I look forward to what you bring to the screen next.

Out of all the movies out about illness this one is best. Who knew that being in Quarantine would produce such love. Another great movie by Craig & David.

David Espinosa at his finest.
baroque-4173514 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I usually don't particularly care for dramas, unless they are true crime related, but this one is a must-see. Love N Quarantine is the most relatable film that I've seen in years. Even though we, ourselves, are now going through the 6th wave, watching Love N Quarantine transports you right back to day 1 of the lockdown. N. J. Brown (Ben Marshall) and Jeanne Young Young (Caroline Marshall) are equally engaging and strong leads, which leaves you forgetting that you're watching a film. They draw you in as though you are there observing the strain that a quarantine puts on a relationship.

During quarantine, a lot of relationships were challenged. Love N Quarantine leaves you reevaluating and looking back on your own relationships and connections. Recently, a series of studies were published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, which dedicated several special issues to relationships during the time of COVID-19.

Relational turbulence from the COVID-19 pandemic was a very real thing. David Espinosa did a phenomenal job of capturing the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an unprecedented transition fraught with difficult changes that have the potential to be especially disruptive to romantic partners' daily routines as couples alter their patterns of interdependence and adapt to their everyday lives.

The supporting cast only added another dimension to the multifaceted direction of Love N Quarantine. Johnathan E. Moore and Kenesha Mayfield were outstanding. The entire ensemble deserves the highest praise for their performances.

GREAT MOVIE
SueMswank26 June 2022
I watched this last night and was pleasantly impressed! It has a great storyline, the actors were realistic in their characters and it held my attention!

The movie is also pretty realistic in way of how some couples handle quarantine and the pandemic.

I would easily recommend this!

Covid
awabshire-3146923 June 2022
Being cooped up and not allowed out during the pandemic has caused me to see many parallel situations also. And things start playing in our heads also. I found it entertaining and relatable as the progression hit Ben and Carolyn.

As The World Turns.
simba_j-1433618 July 2022
I just watched 'Love N Quarantine' and it was beautifully written, directed and produced and it was very poignant on it's delivery as it touched on the trails and tribulations we all have endured of the last few years and the toll it took on all of us individually and in relation to each other no matter the dynamics. Also the Actors did an amazing job! Kudos 👏🏾

Truly relatable film
jdubrecording15 July 2022
This film probably hits home for a lot of people. It touches on a lot of the struggles the world has gone through in the past couple years and gives us. Good laugh at it. Nice little dramatic romantic comedy with some good messages to take away.

The pandemic strain and love
HSaid31 January 2024
In the midst of pandemic chaos, Love and Quarantine emerges as a cinematic ode to resilience and love's enduring spirit. NJ Brown and Jeanne Young grace the screen with an electric chemistry, their portrayal of Ben and Caroline Marshall a symphony of emotions, blending laughter with heartache in the dance of marriage. Director David Espinosa orchestrates a masterful narrative, weaving strands of humor and drama into a tapestry of human connection. With every scene, the film's raw authenticity resonates, inviting viewers on a journey of introspection and empathy. Love and Quarantine, a radiant gem amidst the darkness, shines with a brilliance that lingers long after the credits roll.
