They didn't even try
jmlefebvre-8054311 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
First 20 min in I had enough. If the story line is that there's two people attached together so at least put an effort to make us believe they are! Are they attached at the stomach? No they lie down on their back , ok, are they attached by their sides? No they move and we clearly see they are not. And so on. It's poor execution even if the premises are interesting . If I don't believe the story, how can I watch and like it?

Lack of logic overpowers the premise
OakieRF13 December 2021
Others have said it. Premise had some interesting potential. Freaky idea, wake up and you're sewn to another person, no idea what or how it happened. Ok. The reviews out here point out some key points - how were they drugged? How were they transported to some remote snow region? How did the father find them? Why wait until they are in their mid-30s to do what he did? Etc. Where the movie 100% lost me even if I wanted to forgive some of the other stuff I just mentioned is they cut themselves loose after shooting the guy that did it and he's dying on the floor. Women decides "hey, I'll just walk out in the freezing cold and snow naked for help" for what clearly would have been a very long time. Zero chance of surviving. No one decided to try the phone the guy had beside the cameras he had watching them? Bet that one worked. That aside, anyone with 0.00000001% of a brain in this situation would have used a towel or something to bandage the wound on their side from the cutting, then taken the dying guy's clothes and put them on before heading out into the snow for help so they wouldn't freeze to death in minutes. Implausible stupidity because the script wanted to hammer home the 'ying / yang / 2' concept to the viewer with the subtlety of a sledgehammer one last time. Problem is it takes the viewer completely out of the movie when relatively smart characters do something so ridiculously and obviously stupid.

Poorly executed
karentindale11 December 2021
Firstly, the two sewn together kept changing position so much it was ridiculous and clear they weren't sewn together. I mean, I know you're not really going to see people together for a film bit they really needed something to make it more believable. At one point he'd behind her, looking out a window, they were lying stomach to stomach in bed, then they are stood side by side. Like you'd be able to move through that much range and not be in agony. Secondly, the reason behind it all is not well done at all. It's so rushed and vague and quite frankly not believable. But if they'd spent more time maybe it could have been made more believable. For me when films are dubbed it's hard to gauge the acting as it's someone else acting it too, with their voice, so abit unfair to judge the actors.

What the hell?
aliahmedashraf10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What the hell was this honestly? A father is deranged and wants to reunite their children and sews them up together? How did he even find them? How did he even drug them in the presence of others? How did he get them both to a presumably remote area with nothing but snow for miles? When they separate themselves using the letter opener, there is no significant blood loss occurring at all that the woman would bleed out and pass out in the snow. Why would you continue to walk injured in the snow in the first place? How was this movie ever green-lit with THAT ending? Please stop making movies now, Netflix. God.

So very, very bad.
zamboni-366335 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What a horrible movie. What a waste of time. My time. The actors' time. The film crew's time. Two complete strangers wake up and are sewn together at their abdomens. They fall a lot. They bleed a lot. They kiss and try to have sex. WTF! Then, we move on to a very depressing ending. SPOILERS!! They both die. Don't torture yourself for 70 min by watching this waste of celluloid. You'll be like me and hope it gets better. It never does.

Ridiculous
jennellbrown13 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Don't even waste your time.... It's about two strangers who are stitched together. They start asking each other questions to figure out what could be the reason why they're stitched together. They find us that someone is watching them and the person who watches them don't like when they kiss so to get his attention they kissed and started having sex. The man comes in the room tries to break them up and they used that has a opportunity to escape. While escaping they realize that this man had a thing for pairs. The man wakes and starts to get them again. Long story short, their twins separated a birth. Gross, because they had sex together so this movie contains incest. They both die in the end.

Glad it was short
wotnotb21 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
At first it held my interest waiting to see who the perverted psychopath was who made this gruesome " connection." But it started to drag on without much happening and then the wind up 15 minutes or so were rushed. I could take the horror of it all, but it was very poorly done because there was no consistency in the way the 2 characters are positioned, given their sewn constraints. As ludicrous as the plot was, the more ludicrous were these obvious errors which were allowed to remain in the film.

To see this film even once is too much
patrickfilbeck11 December 2021
This film is once again an example of how the interaction of streaming services and lousy filmmakers continues to destroy the art field of cinema, classic show TV and acting. A stupid premise underlies this film, which puts its only hope of being watched on the value of shock and waits and waits even with the smallest attempt to resolve the question of why. This resolution is then just plain stupid. The worst part, however, is that you can tell from the film that its makers thought they were very sophisticated and unconventional. This is shown by the overestimating dialogues and the stupid side stories. The characters are all intolerable and are also poorly portrayed. The final image of the film underlines the whole nonsense of this abyss of cinematic attempts at art.

Great set-up completely wasted
jtindahouse16 December 2021
'Two' is like a crossover between 'Saw' and 'The Human Centipede' with a dash of the 'The Number 23' for good measure. If you sold a movie to me on that premise alone I'd be pretty excited for it. The problem with 'Two' is that it never gives itself a chance. At only 70 minutes in runtime there simply isn't enough time for it to do anything special or memorable.

The first two thirds of the film are actually pretty interesting. There's the mystery element where we are wondering why this has been done to these two people. There's the unique and uncomfortable element of the disturbing thing that has been done to these people. And then there's the character dynamic where they are having to deal with this horrible situation they find themselves in. The set-up in this movie is actually very good.

For some reason though, once we get some answers, the film becomes in a huge rush to roll the credits. I don't know why. Most films are doing everything they can to stretch themselves out to at least the 90 minute mark. The end result is a very unsatisfying conclusion. There was potential in this one but sadly it will end up a missed opportunity. 6/10.

Stupid storyline, boring as hell
sibyllelashley12 December 2021
It's endless Blabla so easy to fall asleep.

What irritated me most was them sitting next to each other with towels wrapped around their bellies so you'd an see for sure they aren't even attached to each other They couldn't even pretend to be attached for real!

And that's the whole story... Had to stop watching halfway.

Original theme for the movie.
leazy1012 December 2021
I approached Dos with a little fear but despite some disgusting bloody scenes it was really not that bad. You can say that this movie has many plot flaws but on the other hand atmosphere is strong and acting is good. Chemistry between the actors was shown masterfully.

Butchering its own potential
Movi3DO15 December 2021
Ah this took me back to my physiology class where we learned about leptin through parabiosis of rats.

A Spanish mystery thriller on Netflix where two people got sewn together and had to try to get out of the ordeal.

I'm pretty sure I enjoyed this movie a lot more than the general reviews that I have seen on Letterboxd. When the movie started I could feel pain in my belly. It's such a nasty yet interesting concept that drawn me into the movie. Even though the movie was only a hour, its pacing was quite slow, but this actually kept the intensity high for me. The conversations between the characters were weird at times, but I wasn't bothered that much.

Good concept is one thing, but execution is a different story. This aspect was where I was majorly disappointed. Ugh it's annoying how they butchered the potential. The twist in this movie could have been handled way better to have significantly more impact. For some reason it was like they downplayed the twist. Because of this, the last 20 minutes felt like the director got confused and led to the demise of the movie. My mind could have been blown away like when I watched The Invisible Guest (one of the best Spanish mystery thrillers that is also on Netflix), but I didn't get that, thanks to the lack of direction from the director.

Also, even though I said I wasn't bothered much from the conversations, the characters' behaviors and mindset were confusing and pretty unrealistic.

Overall, this had so so much potential to be a great body horror, but it fell short. That's my two cents. 6/10.

Might have worked better as a chapter of an anthology film
Pairic19 December 2021
Two: Two people, a man and a woman awake in a bed to find their abdomens have been stitched together. They have never met before and there is mutual suspicion. However they have to reach a modus vivendi and co-ordinate their actions to actually move. There are some scenes of horror here, even existential terror but is far too wordy. All is explained and though there is a grand guignol ending Two does not follow the brevity of that school. Even at 70 minutes it's too drawn out and might have worked better as an episode of an anthology series or film. Directed by Mar Targarona, Written by Cuca Canals,Christian Molina & Mike Hostench. On Netflix. 5/10.

Terrible
ChickennNuggett10 December 2021
It's so bad it's funny... Half the time they move abs face directions that show their stomachs aren't attached. They lay in the beds on their backs and when they go to stand up you can see the full tummy area 😂 the subtitles are even worse if you're watching English dub they do not match at all!

Two.
lafap11 December 2021
I guess 2 stands for the rating you should give to this movie. I'm pretty generous here, but they asked so hard for it. Otherwise 1 should fit nicely.

Anyway, this film is so damn soulless and big time stupid. The chemistry between the two leads was nothing special, but i kinda enjoyed the over ther top acting.

Perfect example of a 1 star movie
Xavier_Stone15 December 2021
A good enough subject in order for it to be approved. And once the budget and money has been paid everyone just does the absolute minimum in order to get it over with and get paid.

Both actors are terrible, and frequent errors in filming them apart but supposedly being sewn together at the abdomen. The both lie on their backs, lol.

Poor writing, poor dialogue, poor directing and poor camera work. If anyone involved in the movie can't see these mistakes then they are either just bad at their jobs or just ignoring what they see.

For use as a template in film schools for What Not To Do.

Narrative doesn't make sense
lawagee14 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
So her husband 'Mario' was the one with the fascination of the number '2' and all it's symbolism- NOT the father.. So what relevance does the father have to this whole '2' narrative the movie goes down? So flawed. Absolutely the worst movie I've ever watched.

Conjoined twins can't be male-female. The very basics of the film is flawed. I feel bad for the main actors- they did the best they could with a terrible script.

Decent movie
opotraining10 December 2021
It's a short 70 min movie involving just 2 people who are stiched left/ right side of the abdomen. Even thought it's 70 mins movie is bit slow. There is not much story but it will keep you hooked to know why this was done to them. One time watch.

Good idea badly done.
jackfield-6105912 December 2021
This is one of those films where they have come up with a idea but then struggle to come up with a why? Two people unknown to each other wake up naked sewn together at the abdomen, in a room neither of them have been in before. Its a good idea but what follows makes little sense, the way the characters act to being there and the reason they are there makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

a sketch
Kirpianuscus12 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I saw it as an experimental film, using Romantic themes and few serious fists of cliches. The good part - it reminds En la cama. The best part is the basic idea, very generous, and the final images broken by the kitsch Yin- Yang. But this seems, in generous manner, wasted. It seems the result of enthusiasm for two people with attached abdomens ,eulogy to Romantism and late Gothic literature, offering a fragile explanation for situation, a huge effort for solve the crisis and not the inspired end, awful for the use of soap opera / melodrama touches.

Yes, it is very tempting and easy to critic it.

But deserves it that ?

Maybe, not exactly. After 70 minutes, you have the feel to see a short film. The end - a woman body on snow - can be a sort of consolation. But, it is only a sketch, start point for thriller, giving only nudity of a woman and a man, some dialogues, mixing popular science, theories, suppositions, a good premise. Nothing more.

Fantastic exploration into personal, relationship and social boundaries. If you're looking for a special affects glam or polished posing flick skip this offering. Try Marvel. A lot of psychological side notes in this film. It's daring and achieves its goal.

Loved the story hated the movie
Mr_cat8711 December 2021
The story is great for a mini series, it is new and creative. However, the movie was short and lame. The acting was terrible, my grandma does it better. I recommend to watch it if you wanted to waste some time. Better luck next time.

What the f
mendezambre14 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I never write review but this movie is really really bad.

From the beginning to the end it's boring. The storyline is weak and goes nowhere. Two people wakes up attached by the belly (or the side we don't really know) in what seems to be an hotel room and try to figure out why.

So at the end you learn that they are siamese twins who were separated at birth (they didn't know) and there schizophrenic father find them only to suture them back together ???

And the ying and yang image when they are both dying it's bad taste.
