Donald the Frog is an absolute breakthrough character for me

I have been going on an extremely avid mickey mouse clubhouse Season one re-watch from my childhood. Of course all of the episodes hold up the same way that one would imagine, tailored to the child's mind, but they all have a charm to them that is only funny in a way not intended to be. That being said, I watched all episodes of season 1 in 2 ways: regular and 2x speed. Upon viewing the 2x speed version this episode in particular was the funniest. Donald the Frog Prince is an example of an episode that makes no sense. The plot is extremely contrived, and mickey and donald make some very poor decisions when going about their adventure to change donald back into a duck. I, however l, believe that donald the duck should have stayed a frog. The sheer delicacy of a character like donald frog. He was very carefully written, with no mistakes in his scripting. The only thing i'd change is more donald frog. Donald Frog's character design is something that character designers wish they could achieve. It's so simple, yet you can still tell that that frog is indeed Donald the Duck, by some strange magic. Aside from Donald Frog, the episode content is fine. Princess Daisy the Duck is a bland character, and could've helped Mickey and Donald So easily. After Donald gets transformed back, the episode kind of falls off, as the script is written weirdly. It's almost like someone was fired after Donald Frog was took away. Oh well, that doesn't stop me from giving this masterpiece the perfect score it deserves.
