Okay But Not Great.

Seen a lot of comedians in my day and if I had paid 20 bucks to see this act at a comedy club I would have been disappointed. She's funny , had a few laughs but not exactly brilliant comedy.

I'll tell you one thing tho, she's a lot funnier than Bill Maher!!!!!! But these days that is not saying a lot.

I didn't know anything about her, I watched it and found parts very funny but most of it just humorous at best. This particular show just didn't grab me as so many outstanding comics can do nowadays. I made it through the show, which suggests it wasn't too bad, but unlike some other comics shows I've seen lately, I wouldn't care to see it again nor was I compelled to suggest it to any of my friends. I'd have given it another star, but to be quite honest at the end of the show she gets very serious and while making a heartfelt thought... it absolutely ruined whatever happy mood the show itself had created. When I watch comedy, I want to laugh and I want to walk away laughing. I don't want someone to break down the wall and shift my mood immediately. Sorry... but unless you already like her, I'd wait until your list of what you want to watch is depleted before trying t his one.

Funny but obvious no surprises

The only surprises were that she met her husband on a cruise ship. I have family from NY. Dominican and PR. My husband is Venezuelan. So to me, her comments were just humorous regular normal observations, not really any surprises that made me laugh out loud.

Very tight and funny set. And you don't have to be from the South Bronx to appreciate it. Gina Brillon is a new and upcoming comedian with punch and pizazz. Take a listen, you'll be glad you did.

She does a great job with accents, with self-deprecating humor, and with sharp observations. It often takes a few minutes thought to decide whether the observation actually applies to you or not, after you've laughed at it.

Unless you are Chris Rock or George Lopez, or have 20 years' worth of unused material, it's very tough to be funny for an entire hour. I usually turn one-hour comedy specials (even by well-known comedians) off after 35 minutes or so because there are too many dead zones of un-funny filler.

Not here. Gina Brillon is funny and engaging all the way through.

Anyway, check this out for free on Amazon Prime. If you don't like it, fine, turn it off after a while. But at least check it out. Like me, you'll probably end up liking it a lot.

Real Talent ! ! !

You cannot deny real talent. And Gina Brillon brings her life experience to the limelight and a good time is had by all. Every word is not a belly-laff - (as some reviewers expect) - but Gina Brillon creates a picture that everyone can identify with and in-turn makes us laugh at ourselves.

She has alot to say and I'm looking forward to more from her!

This was the first time I had seen the smart, beautiful, hilarious Gina Brillon. Oh - My - G! I was laughing so hard I had to pause the video to go to the bathroom so I wouldn't pee my pants!!! Don't know why the average rating is so low, especially since there are no reviews posted yet... weird, huh. I guess haters gotta hate anonymously sometimes? Whatever. The take away is: Watch this video! She is awesome!!!!! (And as a side note, her eye makeup is so on point! It even works with the backdrop! How awesome is that?! She has got it goin' on!)
