This third episode of "The Beatles" animated series was another lame show but had some interesting designs in the sing-a-long segment

Once again I went back to YouTube to watch another another lame episode of King Features' animated series "The Beatles". In "Please Mister Postman", the Liverpool Lads are stuck in some jungle with no money and are hungry to boot. So Ringo sends through telegraph on a log a message to their manager's secretary for some money while he and John, Paul, and George try to get some food. Eventually, while they do a benefit concert in front of screaming girls, the postman arrives... In the sing-a-long segment, John introduces "If I Fell" with Ringo putting on a paratrooper uniform to illustrate a "jump" tune and then "Do You Want to Know a Secret" with Ringo putting on an army uniform with the recruitment office and "I Want You" poster illustrating John wanting the audience to "join in". This last song had some nice animated designs of hearts, flowers, and a silhouetted girl. Finally, in "Devil in Her Heart", George and Ringo are in a Transylvania forest when Ringo goes to a house which has a witch residing. That witch falls instantly for Ringo and attempts to give him a potion while the title song plays. Once again, I consider both the stories and animation lame with the exception of what I mentioned from the "Do You Want to Know a Secret" segment. While there's a few more episodes of this nearly obscure animated series meant to cash in on the Fab Four's popularity posted on YouTube, I think that's all I'll watch for now...
