If you're into god, watch this film, if you're not, take it with a pinch of salt. The acting is mediocre and story is very used just with added god. Good for an easy Christmas watch. Average film so an average score

Good movie but

Finally a "keep Christ in Christmas " movie however one criticism: the immaculate conception is not Jesus conception but His mother's conception in her mother's, Anne, womb. Mary conceived without sin refers to the fact that Mary was born without the stain of original sin.

Didactic and Pretentious

A Christmas story about a family who doesn't seem to like one another and treat each other with derision and judgement. It's hard to like so many of the characters in this movie, and to listen to the heavy handed religious rhetoric spread though out. Hard to watch how the family talked about and judged one another. I was surprised at the 10/10 stars-- Made me wonder if they were associated with the movie somehow.

Don't waste your time!

Only gave one star because the kids were the only decent actors. Horribly acted, pretentious movie that left me mourning the time I will never get back.

Great Christmas Story!

My family and I love movies that bring Christmas home. This really fits the bill. It's uplifting, not Hollywood bogus, and really heartfelt. It has a little bit of everything: heartwarming humor, reaffirming beliefs, and overcoming difficulty intact. People of all ages can find something in this movie. For people who celebrate Christmas, this will appeal to your soul. For people who participate in a secular Christmas, this will provide a cultural insight into the Christian belief system. For anyone else, it's a really good story.

A family Christmas

Not another meet-cute Christmas romance, this movie has deeper issues dealing with grief, faith, hope, family and love. There are many lighter, comedic moments sprinkled in, however, and I think most viewers will be able to relate to the family in this film in some way. If you're looking for something new in a Christmas movie check it out!

Take a break from the stress of this year!

As soon as this film started I knew it was a Christian film. And note that im not in the least bit religious.

I found this film well put together, and very well acted by actors with faith...

i have seen many Christian movies over the years, and there is so much truth in what they say.

The underbelly of Western Society has gone to hell in a hand basket in so many ways, if we all lived by decent Christian values I feel we would all be a lot happier.

Like all Christian movies, this movie was another education about how we should live our lives. And how we should treat each other......Full stop!

All the warm fuzzies to put you in a Christmasy mood...spiritual without being sappy.

Heartwarming with bits of humor and all the warm fuzzies that makes you feel all in the Christmasy mood. You'll feel drawn especially to the last-minute guest that comes for Christmas-and smile along with the family interactions that might look a lot like yours. Wonderful telling of the true Christmas story...and not in a sappy way. Watch it with your whole family!

Best Christmas movie

Loved this beautiful Christmas movie so much. Got tearful at moments loved Harry. The acting was awesome and did not want the movie to end. God is almighty and miracles can happen if we believe. I have watched this movie more than once and will keep watching when I need uplifting. Every family have ups and downs but we need to trust and have faith in Jesus. This movie is definitely worth the 10 star rating I have given. This is the type of movie every member of the family can watch and I will certainly recommend it to my friends and family. It would be great to have more movies like this one. Great.

The true meaning of Christmas is well addressed in this movie. With some Christian overtones as Christmas is all about. It is entertaining and touching and one of the best Christmas movies ever.
