What was this?

This is poorly scripted, has some weird imagination scenes and has some extremely average acting. Yet something about it kept me watching, a strong message of a bereaved eldest child caring for his siblings? But was it a rom-com or was it some kind of evangelical number? The actress who played Aisha saved this for me and yet weirdly, she's not credited on IMDB. This is an extremely flawed movie and. yet I still find myself enjoying it as I shook my head in disbelief.

This is a remake

This is just a 2021 remake of 2012's "In Over My Head" by the same director. Why they decided to redo it I have no idea. Done of the actors are the same. It isn't a word-for-word remake and dune of the situations have changed but I didn't think it was necessary to remake this.

The acting is okay but I think they use people thru know instead of people who actually have talent.

The storyline is good and could teach us all something about life.

Josiah David Warren has directed a number of films that he himself stars in as a leading role. One of these is "Real Stories with Christ". For some reason when he is depicting a story in biblical times, he is always playing the role of Jesus.

Interesting

An interesting twist on a teenage film. An entitled teenager fights from tragedy in the film that teaches us a lesson in resilience.
