Golkari is a lighthearted romantic comedy Gujarati film which talks about almost every aspect of life like Love, Breakups, Family, Fear of Failure, Success, Hardwork, Fights, etc. The whole star cast is excellent in their respective roles especially, Malhar Thakar; He always has his own personality that besides not having Great Comic lines, He still can make you laugh with his Accent and Charm. The Storyline is simple but the characters, Dialogues, and Direction are the highlights of the film. Just Watch it with your Family. Highly Recommended! ❤

What A refreshing set of Characters. So Real.

So we saw Golkeri yesterday. An absolute must watch.
This story was so well acted out. Refreshing to see how Gujarati women can have careers in stand up, and partners SUPPORT that, about how we all would want our partners to grow as much as we do, about a supportive set of in laws who were conservative about certain things, but eventually came around..because they realised that times have changed, and so has the culture..!
A story about how we, as a generation make the stupidest mistakes based on ego and how sometimes our parents let us learn from them , by sharing thier experiences.. by helping us realise those mistakes.. A story about how parents too realise they had made mistakes and accept them with responsibility. A story where parents also let the children make their own decisions, without forcing them to do what they (parents) want them to do.
#ParentingGoals.

GOLKERI -
This khatta meetha athaana should be tried by all, not just in all meals but also in the form of a film now!
What an amazing movie! All the characters, so real and relevant. This one is a family drama where all generations can relate to themselves at some point in time. A great entertainer.
Mansi was spectacular. She's an absolute natural.
Malhar was super with a different kind of role as a failure. It was a treat to watch Vandana as a modest mother. Sachin was simply too good in his climax sermon to his son.
Loved the icing over the cake! The last song. Parthiv and Mika as perfect show stoppers.
My only regret is not seeing Parthiv much on screen. Wish he could have had more screen time.
This is one Golkeri, that can be relished with pop corn! Enjoy!
Not a strong script...!!

*Golkeri*
Ek Khatti Mitthi Vaarta.
Sahil and Harshita, overnight end their perfect relationship of two years. But, as much as they want to move on and move away from each other, they are stuck in awkward situations put up by their parents who make persistent attempts to bring them back together.
Will their parents' concern cross the line and turn into interference? Or will they triumph in explaining the children that a relationship is just like '_golkeri_' - A sweet-sour traditional _Gujarati_ pickle. The taste only gets better with time.
