I watched this as part of a packed film festival screening and it was one of the highlights of the night. A wonderfully directed film that's beautiful to look at, it's so much more than the sum of its parts - on the surface a simple, ostensibly supernatural tale of a woman's grief and loss, beneath it there are greater themes in play (which I won't go into so as to avoid spoiling the film for others!) With incredible production and sound design and a strong cast, it feels both otherworldly and very real, deftly juggling the narrative and the thematic in a strong and powerful film.
