The movie 'Dark Chapter' is about the 1984 riots or man slaughter which stands as one of the most horrific tragedies of our times. The movie depicts that it is not only the innocent people who were killed at that times, were the victims but their many generations suffered too who tried to get justice for their family members.
It is a very sensitive & emotional subject which is handled in a very matured way by the director Ravi Ramdhan who is able to create many impactful moments which leave an indelible impression in audiences mind. Here I must praise the hero of this movie Raj Singh Bhamrah who plays an army man who has lost his family in the massacre and now he decides to demand justice for his family from the court and at the same time he leaves his job to take care of his mentally effected wife & a young son. His character has an emotional depth which Raj brings out effectively. The music of the movie is meaningful &soulful. Overall I would say if one wants to make short films or non commercial film, one should try to attempt movie like this which has solid content and which makes a connect with audience and make them think.
