Who Was This Made For?
Moviguy26 January 2009
This movie had some potential in the script, and the actors had moments where they shined through, but for the most part this movie was a muddled mess.

The plot to this film seems like it was originally intended for teenage girls. If that had been the case, and the nudity and rather boring sex scenes had been excised I could understand a market for this type of film. Maybe if the plot had been sexed up a little, with more emphasis on the sexual politics and seduction I could understand it being a late night movie, but in the end the movie is a mess. It seems like soft core porn for middle school girls who enjoy staring at fake breasts.

The movie is rather dull, the story doesn't really kick in till the final five minutes, the direction is flat, and most of the actors seem like they are about to break out laughing during the scenes. The Poison Ivy series was never stellar film making, but at least the films knew their audience. This one is a confused, muddled mess that never decides if it wants to be a slightly dirty version of Mean Girls or a late night cable flick.

Skip it.

This poison ivy won't cause a sting
Field783 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I have a bit of a soft spot for bad B-movies made by naive filmmakers who seem to think that they are doing a good job. Those movies that will never get the exposure like 'The Hobbit' gets, due to the very limited release; mostly the umpteenth direct-to-DVD sequels nobody ever heard of from a franchise (loosely applied) they hardly know, and very few will ever rent or buy, especially when it receives a considerable amount of beating from all kinds of review sites.

I happened to catch this naughty little underachiever recently in its unrated DVD edition. Now I'll admit that 'Poison Ivy 4: The Secret Society' is a movie to steer clear from: it is a B-movie in any sense of the word, with risible acting, sub-par screenplay, below average directing and very limited production values (the music and photography are too generic to make an impression). In the old days, I would say that it was even worse than a average TV series, but series of late have been of remarkably high quality, so that comparison would not be fair. And yet, there is a thing to say about forming one's own opinion instead of clinging slavishly to the judgment of others. Especially bad movies get an increasingly worse reputation from people who haven't seen it, but simply copy the judgments of others and then add some. I still want to see 'Movie 43' and 'After Earth' and rate them for myself when I am ready for it. Had I obediently followed the recommendations, I would have missed 'Grown Ups' and 'Bitch Slap', which I both loved. And let us not forget the immortal words of the great and late Roger Ebert on 'Basic Instincts 2' (slightly paraphrased): "I cannot recommend it, but... why the hell can't I? Because it's god-awful? What reason is that to stay away from a movie? God-awful AND boring... now THAT is a reason!"

Now, you could describe Poison Ivy 4 as 'god-awful', but that would be overstating it. It isn't boring or annoying, I simply found it lacking overall, but too cute to get mad at. Much of that is thanks to Miriam McDonald as the unconvincing leading lady Daisy. She couldn't act her way out of a dating site commercial, but somehow she was cast as a cute freshman out-of-town genius who gets admitted into a highly exclusive college course. She is supposed to be very smart, straight A's and all, yet she is so adorably naive to have sex on the first date with an obvious bad boy who has the word 'womanizer' practically burnt into his forehead. Yet, when he predictably cheats on her (next day already!), I couldn't help feeling a bit sorry for her feeble attempts to sulk and pout. I genuinely hoped that poor Daisy would be more prudent from now on.

No such luck: she doesn't get suspicious when she is approached by a sinister secret sorority that is unquestionably linked to the death of her predecessor. It doesn't help that most characters are surprisingly quick to believe the 'it-was-an-accident' explanation, especially since we never hear any convincing details of this accident. The sorority itself is ruled by a queen bee called Azalea (Shawna Waldron) with equally limited acting skills. She is so diabolic and insincerely nice that the word 'bitch' is practically burnt into her forehead. Of course, cute Daisy doesn't notice, not even when she is abducted, more-or-less forced to join, and then exploited. You keep wondering how effective Azalea is as leader of this supposedly powerful and secret society: it is supposed to have influences everywhere, but outside, nothing more than a rumor; yet everyone on campus seems to know and warn about it. When the girls want to burn womanizer's car in retaliation, they even have to do it themselves, out on the open street. What, no lower-level thugs to do the filthy work? Strangely, the secret and sophisticatedly-sounding motto, 'Concordia res parvae crescunt' (small things grow through harmony), is proudly displayed on their headquarters (I assume the writers chose it since it was already displayed on the building where they were allowed to film).

Not much is unpredictable or surprising in the remainder of the movie, although this all-powerful organization is surprisingly easily defeated. Some of the older actors (like Greg Evigan as the professor) do a lot better than the younglings, except for the female detective, who even beats Daisy in underacting (but isn't as cute). There is some nice, non-offensive nudity, twice from Azalea pretending to be a femme fatale (at least her body language is better than her acting), and twice from Daisy (she is required to be completely nude for a tattoo on her lower back, so don't worry, all functional :-). Yet, the movie takes itself quite serious, with much less focus on sex scenes and more on plot than comparable erotic B-movies. The fact that it was released by New Line Cinema, a quality house since the 'Lord of the Rings' movies, may signify that they intended to produce a genuinely smart erotic thriller cross-breed of 'The Craft' and 'The Skulls'. Or they simply left it to their direct-to-DVD department to make a few quick bucks. Next time, read the script first, guys.

Not wanting to kick an already dead horse, I maintain that while I do not applaud or recommend this movie, judging it has not been without a sense of (guilty) pleasure. It should be mandatory viewing for those who claim that most of the stuff that comes out of Hollywood is really really bad, because nothing puts things back in perspective than a genuinely mediocre movie. I found it quite endearing, which is why I award it 4 stars instead of 2. Thanks to Daisy. You poor thing, you definitely deserve better than to be fooled by womanizers and bitches! You definitely deserve a better movie...

100% Predictable

Warning: Spoilers
I have not seen any of the other Poison Ivy movies, but I know the premise had to do with a young seductress, along the lines of Amy Fisher. This movie, which I think would be part four, doesn't really have much to do with that formula, although they do end up putting in a scene between a student and a teacher.

This episode is more like the Skulls series--a secret society that sucks in an innocent country girl and draws her into a world of manipulation. She is attending a fancy private school, which she is only able to do because she had the talent to be awarded a scholarship. The majority of the kids she interacts with are there because they have money, and bit by bit, she is distracted from her studies until she is caught up in their world of deceit.

What I didn't like about this movie is that everything was completely formulaic--I had seen it all before, and knew where it was all going. In addition, the resolution was completely ridiculous--the girl gets a taped confession that supposedly brings down the entire infrastructure of the secret society. We are hardly supposed to question how her flimsy evidence would hold up against a multi-million dollar defense team that the families would certainly bring against her.

So the country girl ends up going back to her boyfriend to help him build his dream home on their multi-acre rural paradise. My vote is a three out of ten. It's one of those movies that could only appeal to kids who are too young for the subject matter, because anyone older than early teens already knows what's going to happen anyway.

Slow moving porno film
geoffox-766-41846721 September 2010
Sorry but this LMN waste is nothing but a porno movie and a bad one at that. At least in pornos you get to see more nudity and carrying on. In this we are subjected to these bunch of bimbos, overly made up and lip gloss up to here, go through the antics of being part of a sorority house that is bent in doing evil and murder. The lead gal, a hick from the sticks, is played with a vacant expression throughout the film. The evil one, in a push up bra and tons of eye makeup goes around flirting with all the male losers. In one movie, I'd love to see a character like this get so far in flirting and then be told the guy was gay and she was wasting her time. Just once. So we are forced to sit for two hours just to see them get their uppence. And it is never as exciting as all the bad deeds they do throughout the picture. Those so called sorority girls are all a bit long in the tooth to be playing young coeds. The guys look younger then they do. I wonder what the director was thinking of when he cast this. Boobs, I guess. Certainly not acting.

the law of diminishing returns
movieman_kev1 February 2009
Small town girl Daisy (Miriam McDonald of Degrassi: The Next Generation fame) attempts to start anew, leaving her steady boyfriend and country life to go to a New England college. She soon becomes embroiled in the manipulation of the secretive feminist Ivy Society, a clandestine club who has many members as well as finds a new love interest in Blake, the dean's son.

Having nothing at all to do with the first three Poison Ivy films, this is merely a slightly below average soft-core (the DVD sexes up the version that debuted on television) female version of "the Skulls". If you've seen that aforementioned film or any of the others of it's ilk, nothing here will catch you by a surprise, as it's simply a paint-by-numbers type of affair. Seeing Miriam shed some clothes might be worthwhile for fans of hers, but that's all there is to recommend this movie.

Eye Candy: Miriam McDonald & Shawna Waldron both get topless; 2 extras also get topless

My Grade: D

DVD Extras: No extras for the movie itself but an anti-piracy psa; corporate schilling for Blu-Ray; trailers for "Alien Raiders", "Friday the 13th", "Wonder Woman"; "Where the f**k is Santa?", & the X-box 360 games "Tomb Raider: Underworld"

The worst Poison Ivy yet. That's saying something.
hall8954 September 2013
Onetime child stars Miriam McDonald and Shawna Waldron go the Alyssa Milano route, trying to prove how grown-up they are by taking their clothes off in a terrible Poison Ivy movie. All the Poison Ivy movies are awful but this one, which doesn't actually have anything to do with any of the others, makes Milano's look like Gone with the Wind by comparison. The story is impossibly dumb. The acting is uniformly pathetic. McDonald and Waldron may look good but their acting skills have not grown with their bodies. McDonald is bad. Waldron is way beyond bad, turning in one of the most atrocious performances ever seen. The supporting players are all pretty much terrible as well. Ryan Kennedy, who plays the guy involved with the two key girls, is particularly lousy. To be fair none of the performers are helped by a script which is mind-boggling in its stupidity. McDonald plays Daisy, an innocent country bumpkin who goes away to college. She gets mixed up with the school's powerful all-female secret society, the Ivies. This group hasn't got the "secret" part of secret society down as they live in a big house right in the middle of campus and everybody knows all about them. Anyhow, Waldron plays Azalea, the key figure in this cabal of stupid girls. Azalea wants some internship, she's afraid Daisy might get it. So Azalea hatches schemes to take Daisy down and claim that precious internship for herself. The story has huge holes in it. It is neither believable nor interesting. The movie slogs along towards the finish, interrupted by occasional skin displays from its two leads because honestly getting them naked is the only reason this movie even exists. The ending somehow manages to be even dumber than everything which preceded it with quite possibly the worst fight sequence in movie history. This is a movie which fails in every possible way. If McDonald and Waldron were hoping for a career boost from this, well ladies I've seen Alyssa Milano and you're no Alyssa Milano.

This series should be laid to rest.
bbhlthph27 February 2010
The first film of this series featured Drew Barrymore as Ivy, a teenage nymphet without any moral scruples using her physical attractions to destroy those who crossed her path. Released in 1992, it incorporated a significant amount of nudity. Two later films have featured Alyssa Milano and Jaime Pressly playing characters with different names but not dis-similar roles. All three films were essentially trashy melodramas, none achieved an IMDb viewer rating above the mid way point; but not because of poor acting, they all gave the career of their star a useful boost. Today however they are barely remembered, most filmgoers asked about one of them would probably scratch their head in bewilderment, and Insight were certainly taking a chance when they decided to make a fourth version of this story two years ago. Unfortunately it did not come off - like its predecessors this is a trashy melodrama with a transparent and overworked story spiced up with eye candy to increase its appeal; but not sure what audience it is really trying to attract. Ivy returns to this film in the guise of a University secret society - the Ivy Women's Society - which has established a dangerous influence on the administrative machinery of the University, and under the guidance of its current President (Azalea, played by Shawna Waldron) is prepared to go to any lengths, including violence if necessary, in order to maintain this. An unsophisticated country girl (Daisy, played by Miriam McDonald) who has decided to seek a University education following the death of her parents, improbably proves to be her most serious obstacle. Unfortunately this is only one of many very serious flaws in the story as presented. For example PI-4 includes a totally ludicrous and unnecessary bondage sequence showing new recruits to the "Secret" Society being tattooed during their initiation.

My TV version of PI-4 incorporated virtually no nudity but the Parent's Guide notes in this database just comprises the comment "nudity throughout". I understand the first release on television was a bowdlerised version, a number of spicy sequences intended to increase its appeal were added for a limited cinema release and later an even more spicy unrated DVD was released. Comments such as that above are of little help to parents in such circumstances. Ideally the Parent's Guide should relate to the cinema release, but once a film has made its rounds in the movie houses most prospective fresh viewers will only see either a heavily cut TV version or a spiced up DVD, probably designed for the young married viewers who rent or buy most DVD's today. These alternatives are as different as chalk from cheese. The TV version of PI-4 runs about 84m and the DVD 95m - for very different reasons neither is suitable for children's viewing. Similarly I have a PG14 version of "Wedding Crashers" which runs for 94 m, the R rated cinema version runs 119m and an unrated DVD 127m - over a third longer. This wide gulf in running times between TV versions and DVD versions for many films which are no longer regularly screened can nullify the value of IMDb Parent's Guide notes even though we all recognise they are of great importance to worried parents. Furthermore, when added sequences in DVD versions are designed to appeal to a different audience, they are often incompatible and spoil whatever appeal the original film had. The DVD of "Alice in Wonderland" (1975) included two different versions - comments on this database show that most viewers preferred the original shorter version, not because it was more suitable for children but because it ran more smoothly. If the Parent's Guide is to continue providing harassed parents with help they feel they can trust, IMDb needs to examine this problem. Often I have wanted to contribute to these guidance notes, but found this almost impracticable because multiple versions of the film exist. Perhaps IMDb could open a blog for further discussion - it would not be relevant here.

My advice is to stay away from either version of PI-4 - the only reason to watch is if you are interested in its two young stars. Here Shawna Waldron played a part which I believe enhanced her reputation as an actress. It reminded me of the part played by Sarah Michelle Geller in Cruel Intentions. Both had to display subtle glances and gestures showing freedom from moral scruples when with cronies, whilst appearing highly moral and demure with all other people - a difficult accomplishment. But, whilst Cruel Intentions was a very good film, Poison Ivy-4 only rates 2 stars.

Having absolutely nothing to do with the "Poison Ivy" films, this film attached itself to the franchise to take advantage of and attract an eager audience for... naked girls.
filipemanuelneto26 September 2020
I thought this movie would be another follow-up to the erotic "Poison Ivy" franchise, but what we have in this very low budget film directed by Jason Hreno (an unknown director of shorts and small TV works), is more like a spin-off or an isolated job that took the attached itself to the franchise. And I say this because it really has nothing to do with the "Poison Ivy" films!

The plot centers on the sweet and naive Daisy, a country girl with a long-time boyfriend who, after losing her family, sells her land to study in the city. She manages to get into a good university and everything seems to be going smoothly, but things change quickly when she starts dating Blake, the son of the dean, who keeps an obscure connection with a secret clandestine female society for university girls that serves purposes and objectives beyond the wicked.

I think this succinct summary is enough to give us a clearer sense of everything this film is not: a "Poison Ivy" sequel. If these films were always about a young girl who uses sensuality and sex to get what she wants, here it just disappears. Daisy is everything that Ivy, Violet or even Lily never was: she is genuinely good. Wickedness is in the other girls in the secret society, but never in herself.

The cast is quite weak and it must not have been difficult for Miriam McDonald to stand out and assume the protagonism. She herself is not a brilliant actress, having excelled only in teen works, and the feeling that I have here is that she decided to follow the same path followed by other renowned teen stars like Drew Barrymore, Lindsay Lohan or Miley Cyrus: using sex and sensuality to detach from their childish image and have more adult works. Another actress who takes her clothes off in this film is Shawna Waldron, as the villain Azalea. Yes, she is what we have here in most similar to a "Poison Ivy" protagonist, but she lacks the protagonism, the film is never about her. The rest of the cast goes out completely: Ryan Kennedy has no presence and Andrea Whitburn rarely appears and does nothing special.

Being a film with a very low budget and with little money to spend, it is totally forgettable in the technical aspects, as it has everything you need without anything that stands out in the positive: uninteresting cinematography, monotonous scenarios and costumes, no effects, a "TV quality" look and a virtually absent soundtrack.

would the first 20 minutes have helped?
ashtree8015 May 2009
Warning: Spoilers
First of all: I watched this movie on TV and missed the first 20 minutes or so. Therefore it might have been better than I thought. Maybe something super entertaining and Oscar worthy happened...

Anywho, What I saw was awful. The acting and setting was good or at least alright. The plot was...odd. Nothing seems to happen very logically. The main character is very stupid and does a lot of stupid things. This is not the actress's fault (because her acting was not the problem).

Spoilers!!!!!

Here's a good example: When she records the murderous confession, why doesn't she just quietly take it to the police? Why doesn't she use a tape recorder way earlier in the movie? Why does she join the society in the first place? Why doesn't she transfer to a non-insane people school? And come on! All that for an internship?! Imagine creating a complex, murderous web of crime, with incredible risk, over an internship! And why the hell was the ugly brunette Society leader chick believe everything the professor's son said?!!! ( She was waaaay too ugly for that role).

And it's a good thing that the other Ivy member (the prettier one) suddenly had a change of heart and decided to help Daisy for no logical reason.

On the other hand, this movie is great for men and young boys who are too afraid to buy porn.

A whole different story, same seductive meaning!
GOWBTW23 October 2013
Out of all the "Poison Ivy" I have seen, this one is like none of the three. To me, this is like "Heathers" meets " Mean Girls" only more serious. Here you have an orphaned teen named Daisy(Miriam McDonald), who lives in a small town ranch, who gets to go to s very prestigious college. Fitting in is one thing, proving your worth is another. Earlier, a student in the college died under mysterious circumstances. She catches the attention of two people: Blake(Ryan Kennedy) and the clique, the Ivies. The leader Azalea(Shawna Waldron), seduces Blake one afternoon to get ahead. In order to keep the scholarship for themselves, the Ivies go to every length to get it. Even make the new girl one of them. Blake would warn Daisy about Azalea and the Ivy society. Especially when Azalea killed his father, the dean of the college(Greg Evigan). After the scandal in college, Daisy goes back to her boyfriend, realizing her heart belongs to him. Keeping the situation to yourself is best, rather the blowing the lid of a college with secrets. Different from the first three, but it retained the same seductive manner as usual. So don't jump the gun on it, watch it and be the judge yourself. 2 out of 5 stars.

Cheap worthless trash.
Richard_vmt28 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Entirely predictable tale about a country girl who goes to college only to find that a secret society ( sorority) is enacting murder on campus with impunity. From the point of her arrival to the climactic cat fight with the leader of the "Ivy Society," she spends her time dating an instructor's glib, overconfident and basically spineless son, Blake. Nor does the flick ever take the trouble to debunk him. He performs a role like a male lead in a porn film and nothing more is required of him.

Blake is sexing her as well as the villain. Notably, each sex act in this made for TV saga includes naked breasts and is accompanied by the same jungle drum music. Both women conduct themselves in bed aggressively exactly as you would expect a sex worker to perform, country girl or no.

When she hands the Ivy Society over to the police, she returns home for the summer to the boy she left behind, whom she promises a lifetime of her sexual favors. God grant that she not give him an STD. Decidedly non-collegiate attitudes. Cheap, cheap, cheap.

a different movie
kairingler10 July 2013
first off I was surprised to see ole BJ and the Bear star Greg Evigan back on the screen,, where has he been. this movie goes in a different direction and does not follow the first 3 Poison Ivy films.. this one has a girl starting her life over at a New England college. sorta like a prep school I guess. kinda like female version of Skulls. but anyways to be honest I bought this just for all of the hot girls in this movie,, and the DVD added it was unrated. but the movie wasn't bad at all , actually had some depth and plot to it,, a real mystery for awhile,, . I think this one would stand alone and really didn't need to be even named poison ivy,, but I really liked the film and was surprise some of the young girls actually could act instead of just look great naked.

The Power of the Ivy
lavatch4 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Danielle "Daisy" Brooks is an Iowa farm girl and orphan, who sells her family land plot to attend prestigious Beckshire College. She leaves behind her boyfriend Will and a possible life with him on a ranch.

For the student with a 4.00 grade point average, the future beckons as a political science major with possibility of winning the coveted PEIP (Political Economic Internship Program) award, which will mean an internship in Washington, D.C. and the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Monica Lewinsky.

But in starting out her academic career at Beckshire, Daisy makes two major mistakes. First, she has a one-nighter with the smooth-talking Blake Graves, the son of poly sci professor Andrew Graves and his wife Elizabeth, who is the new Dean of the College. The liaison with Blake will have fateful consequences after Blake appears to dump Daisy and their night together has been recorded on a hidden camera.

Daisy's second major mistake is to take vows in the secret society of women known as the Ivy. Despite warnings from her kind roommate Magenta Hart,, Daisy takes her vow, swearing the oath "concordia res parvae crescent" (working together and accomplishing more). In so doing, Daisy will fall under the influence of its powerful president Azalea. What what is it exactly that she will "accomplish" at Beckshire?

One of the themes of the film is the weakness of the flesh. This is apparent in Daisy's inability to say "no" to Blake, as well as both Blake and his father's inability to say "no" to Azalea. These actions all have consequences when Azalea seeks to use her "influence" to have her low grades raised. When the password into the system is denied, Azalea will go on a rampage.

Another theme is the importance of thinking for oneself. Daisy is a straight-A student forced to take out student loans and work in a campus job to pay for her education. Yet, she whiles away her life with a commitment to a nefarious campus society. Because she learns virtually nothing in the film either about government or personal responsibility, she is a most unsympathetic character in a film that is replete with others of her ilk. One has to feel sorry for poor Will and what his future holds in store for him with his girlfriend on the Daisy Ranch in Iowa.

Poison Ivy: The Secret Society
allmoviesfan29 June 2023
The last (to date, anyway, and I'm reviewing this in June 2023) Poison Ivy film.

And that's probably just as well. This was the worst of the lot, by a comfortable margin. Poor acting, a flimsy script, plenty of slow-motion sex scenes - screaming out low budget, direct-to-TV, which this was, premiering, according to the IMDB page, on Lifetime - and, really, very little really to write home about.

I didn't mind previous instalments in this series but it should have ended with 'The New Seduction'. I guess the old adage about flogging a dead horse is an apt one here. As far as Poison Ivy goes: there's not much left to be flogged, at this point.

If I wanted to see softporn then I wouldn't be on lifetime.
sly_231422 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
I really liked Miriam on Degrassi, I think she's an excellent actress...Bu this role put her in such a bad light.

I didn't see all of the movie, but what I did see was way too much for TV. I'm not a prude or anything, but really? It seemed more like a porno because of the lack of concept than an actual movie. What really bothered me about the whole thing that happened to Daisy, was that she had a choice. In the scene where they asked the girls if they wanted in, they looked at each other instead of deciding for themselves. She could of said no and be done with it. After they said yes they drank something and got tramp stamps. Lol? Who wrote that. I'm pretty sure there's a law against forcing someone to get a tattoo..But I guess since it's a movie, they don't have to be realistic?

I think this movie is only good for pubescence boys to get their jollies off. It has no substance at all.

sexy Icebox
SnoopyStyle13 January 2017
After the death of her parents, Danielle "Daisy" Brooks (Miriam McDonald) sells the family farm and leaves behind her boyfriend to transfer to Beckshire College. The Ivy Society led by Azalea Berges (Shawna Waldron) dismisses the poor new student until Blake (Ryan Kennedy) takes an interest. The school is still haunted by a female student's mysterious death six months earlier. Magenta is Daisy's film student roommate. Andrew Graves is their political theory professor and Blake's father. Daisy starts working for Blake's mother dean Elisabeth Graves (Catherine Hicks). Azalea wants a prized internship but Daisy has the inside track.

This is most notable for the sexy Icebox. I don't know what else Shawna has done over the years but this is a real eye opening. Otherwise, there is nothing here. This is a weak soft core B-movie and it's not much of a thriller.

Your getting to close to the Graves
sol-kay11 August 2013
Warning: Spoilers
***SPOILERS**** The film "Posion Ivy" is a womens or girls version of the super secretive Yale Skull & Bones Club. It's there where only the best brightest and most of of all corruptible of all the students who can cut the mustard pickle or each other throats can become its members. It's when out of town as well as state student Daniel "Daisy" Brooks, Miriam McDonald, arrives at the exclusive New England Beckshire Collage that she catches the eye of the president of the all womens Ivy Club the sexy and witch-like Azalea-the name fits-Burgess played by Shawna Waldron who seems to have the hots for the very naive as well as pretty country girl. After Daisy's parents were killed in a car crash a year ago she have a major life change and decided to leave home as well as her boyfriend farmer Will, Brendon Penny, and get a degree in international politics in order to broaden her horizons and end up getting elected for high office. It didn't take that long for Daisy to realize that her life was going to change not for what she hoped to be the better but for the worst.

It was Blake , Ryan Kennedy, the son of professor Andrew Graves, Greg Euigan, who clued Daisy into what to expect by at first trying to hit in on her. The way to make it big in this place Beckshire Collage Blake hints is for Daisy is join the all womens Ivy League or Club and then all her troubles in making her grades in class as well as romantic endeavors & financial problems will all be over. Being a straight A student Daisy didn't have to worry about her grades but when her bank account, that she's paying her tuition with, mysteriously dried up she decides to join the club that turned out the biggest mistake she made in her entire life.

***SPOILERS*** It in fact was Azalea who started the downfall of the secretive Ivy Club in her greedy attempt to get professor Graves to give her passing marks in his political science class. The club that boasts to have had as it's members the most powerful and influential women in the world which included Margeret Thatcher Hillery Clinton Madonna as well as Oprah Winfrey soon went to pieces. That's when Azalea started to target both Professor Graves and his son Blake in retaliation for her personal failure in him not getting her a passing mark in his class! The by now completely out of control Azalea went so far as embarrassing Daisy who didn't put out for her, in getting the professor to pass her, by secretly video taping her having sex with Blake Graves and putting the entire hot XXX-rated no holds bar and all clothes off sequence on the internet.

It was when Azalea went a bit too far in murdering Professor Graves, for giving her failing grades, and trying to frame Daisy with the crime that her goose was finally cooked or in this case drowned. Getting Azalea , through a hidden tape audio recorder,to admit her crime or crimes in her having another girl murdered for not following orders resulted into a violent cat fight between the two sexy and scantly clothed girls. That after a sword throwing contest ended with Azalea almost going under in the collage swimming pool. But with now the news becoming public about the secretively Ivy Club and even worse then that in exposing it's #1 man or in this case woman being non other then the late professor Graves' wife the Dean of Beckshire Collage Elisabeth Graves, Catherine Hicks, that turned out to be the final nail on its coffin. In not only exposing it's evil and fascist like agenda of degrading and using men to advance it's members rise in the US and well as foreign political and financial systems but going so far as as blackmail and murder in order to do it.

Much better than expected!

Warning: Spoilers
Miriam McDonald is a, no doubt, brilliant actress and I am a huge fan of Degrassi. Just because Miriam is in this movie was the reason I wanted to see it. I was extremely surprised to see that Miriam shed some clothes and was topless a few times. Not to mention, those seduction/sex scenes really shocked me. I am really happy to see that Miriam is trying to move her acting career into a more mature field, though Degrassi is a very mature show.

I am looking forward to the DVD release and I strongly recommend this movie to many people who are fans of Miriam, Degrassi, or the Poison Ivy series.
