Just watch something else.

Rock Dog 3 is easily one of the least engaging movies I've seen recently, both failing as a standalone film and as a sequel. The entire plot from beginning to end is as predictable as it can be, and the main conflict doesn't even make any logical sense once you actually think about it for more than a few seconds. This, combined with the consistently unfunny humor and some scenes of obnoxious dialogue, makes the movie boring at best and mentally draining at worst. I seriously struggled to sit through the entire movie again to write this review.

None of the new characters managed to become interesting or endearing in any way. Additionally, nearly all of the characters from the previous movies have either been completely butchered or contribute so little that they may as well not even have been included in the first place. While animation isn't terrible direct-to-DVD sequel of this type, the use of recycled footage and voice lines from previous movies is just embarrassing. Most of the voice acting and music are actually passable and sometimes even decent, but that's not nearly enough to make up for everything else I've mentioned.

Even though this isn't even close to being the worst movie I've seen, I still wouldn't recommend watching it in the slightest. With all of the other, far more enjoyable animated movies that have been released recently, I see no reason to waste your time on this.

Literal audible and visual chocolate

I've been a fan of the Rock Dog series since 2016 and it helped me see the world differently. Bodi is my new bae. You can't have him because he's mine, I called dibs. I have left my religion and started my own because of the Rock Dog series. It's a beautiful movie with beautiful characters like Bodi. This movie is so good that you don't need things like 420 to enjoy this piece of work. My husband left me because of my new found love for bodi but I don't care. He's just jealous. Maybe if he learned a thing or two in the bedroom, he would still have me. But I never loved him. I love Bodi. Every time I look at Bodi, I melt inside like Butter on a hot pancake. I'm wondering if Bodi can finger more than just his guitar though. My family had an intervention because of this "obsession" yet i know I don't need help. Rock dog rules. And Bodi is mine.

Great Movie

Rock Dog 3 was a great movie, being even better than the sequel, and even being a little better than the first one. I think each Rock Dog movie they make is a little better than the one before. Rock dog 3 was engaging and had a little bit of an intense storyline. It also had great animation and had a plot that kept you on the edges of your seat. I think Rock Dog 3 was better than Rock Dog 2 as far as animation and the plot, but I did love that movie also. Rock dog 3 is a cinematic swirl with just the right flavors. Rock Dog 3 Brought back the cat Angus Scattergood, which I enjoyed. And they also brought back the ox. With all that being said, even though this movie had its very minor flaws, I think that it was a 10/10 and they should keep making more.
