Beyond belief.

Unfortunately I think that wwe hit the lowest point with this event. I state that since the day before the match card was practically non-existent. Only 2-3 matches announced, the rest was improvised as a normal raw and smackdown event. Overall it wasn't bad, but the main event really brought out the worst of the worst. Not good

Heck in a Cell

Warning: Spoilers
I bet WWE thought they were doing something great by rushing The Fiend into the title picture, but it was a mistake because the match somehow ended in a No DQ/Ref Stoppage...in a Hell in a Cell! Absurd finish.

It wasn't just that though. The rest of the card felt like a typical episode of Raw and not a PPV.

Absolutely horrendous; worst pay per view of 2019
austindickerson-038139 October 2019
First of all, this feud between Lacey Evans and Natalya needs to DIE. I don't ever want any matches between the two ever again. The match on pregame show was unneeded in any manner whatsoever. Thank gosh Natalya made Lacey Evans tap out, cause I can't stand her.

The first two matches on the main card were very good. Becky Lynch totally destroyed Sasha Banks inside Hell in a Cell to retain the Raw Women's Championship, not just by making The Boss tap out, but it basically combined the Hell in a Cell match mixed with a TLC match featuring kendo sticks. This SHOULD'VE been the main event! It's a good thing this match scored an A+ on the Bleacher Report.

Next up, we saw Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan against Harper and Rowan in a tornado tag team match. It was supposed to be a regular tag team match, but it's called Hell in a Cell, where some matches should hardcore stipulations, kinda like Extreme Rules. Anyhow, this match also definitely stole the show. Reigns and Bryan emerged victorious after using tables, ladders, and chairs all over. But they should obviously save that come time when TLC comes around in December.

We got an impromptu match that wasn't even scheduled on the card, but was added during the pregame festivities. After Randy Orton squashed Ali for 12 minutes, I gave the match 12 sins for 12 wasted minutes on the card. Also, I cannot stand Randy Orton.

Now we back into the swing of things as Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defended the Women's Tag Team Championship against Asuka and Kairi Sane. The match was going good until what Asuka did. She used the same green dew that Tajiri used in ECW, and the referee didn't even look. I checked the rule book; not every match was no disqualification. Because Asuka incapacitated Nikki, it should've been Alexa and Nikki win by disqualification. End of story. After that, Asuka and Kairi walk out as the NEW Women's Tag Team Champions after three unsuccessful attempts. First, it was winning by count out against Billie Kay and Peyton Royce on SmackDown, then it happened twice around SummerSlam weekend.

We have a six man tag team match featuring Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and the United States Champion AJ Styles against Erik, Ivar, and Braun Strowman (who was chosen by Erik and Ivar as their mystery partner). The OC basically used their villainous tactics and went total chaos. Because of this, the referee called for the bell this giving Braun Strowman, Erik, and Ivar the win by disqualification.

Will this feud please STOP?! We got a rematch from the King of the Ring final between tournament winner Baron Corbin and finalist Chad Gable. I never even liked Baron Corbin to begin with, but it's a good thing Chad Gable made the save to secure the win.

We're getting close to where things were about to go from bad to worse. In a rematch from Clash of Champions, Bayley defended the SmackDown Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair. Even though it lasted like ten minutes, this match was not quite pay per view quality as Charlotte clinched the title as a result of a submission. Now Charlotte Flair is a ten time world champion. Just six more to go to beat her father Ric Flair.

The main event saw us oversee Seth Rollins defend the Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt in a Hell in a Cell match. Oh my gosh, this match RUINED this pay per view! After Bray was incapacitated a few times, officials ran to check. Seth Rollins got the sledgehammer and the referee stopped the match. Fans started booing all over the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California and chanting things like "bull(bleep)", "Restart match", "boring", "F this match", "AEW", etc. The same stuff chanted at Stomping Grounds earlier this summer!

Fans though the match ended in a disqualification, but here's the thing: in a Hell in a Cell match, there are no count outs and NO disqualifications! You know, what? I'm done talking about this monstrosity.

Solid ppv with a bad finish
cjwulf18 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Hell in a Cell was a solid ppv with a bad finish in Bray Wyatt vs Seth Rollins!!! The opening Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks match was crazy and inventive. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns was not as good as Sasha vs Becky but still a solid match. So this ppv started Hot with two ppv worthy bouts. Then things to start to go down with a bunch of matches created on the pre-show to fill in ppv time including Ali vs Randy Orton,The Kabuki Warriors vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross,The O.C. vs Braun Strowman and The Viking Raiders and Chad Gable vs King Corbin. This night ended with Bayley vs Charlotte in a decent match and a boring match between the Fiend and Seth Rollins.

Better Than Previous Hell in a cell pay per views !
salarahmed-343868 October 2019
Ignore all the hate review about this pay per view . This was a good event with some slow wrestling scenes but the storyline of most of the matches was perfect . i did not get bored by the most of the matches . The premiere hell in a cell match was also good and the main event was kind of impressing but i hated the refree for stopping the match because it hell in a cell , anything could happen . Roman and Daniel Vs Rowan and Harper : 6.8/10 (Normal with some match changing moments) Orton Vs Ali : 5/10 (This was just a drag by wwe in match card for runtime . the match was fine but there was not any storyline ) Cable Vs Corbin : 2/10 (Boring and the match was same as smackdown match of cable vs andrade if you remember) Rollins Vs The Fiend : 8/10 (Simply amazing and extreme action . Amazing storyline . The best match of the show but the ending could have been better !

Fiend vs The Universal Champion Rollins in HELL! It was SHOCKING!
jamontjohnson-833197 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I am first say that you fans that were disappointed with the conclusion of this WWE event can go rip one but you should not punish the entire Hell in a Cell since it was the action was outstanding except for the booking for the main event showing! I think Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch was grand and both women delivered in that Hell in a Cell so well that neither should have loss or both needed to have won! 10/10 Also Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan defeating Erick Rowan AND Luke Harper IN A HELLACIOUS TORNADO TAG MATCH was extremely physical and received good enough time 9/10 Mustafa Ali should have got a quick decisive victory over Randy Orton he deserves it but The Viper dominated that match ending with the famous RKO 7.9/10 Kabuki Warriors finally becoming Women Tag Team Champions over Twisted Bliss(ALEXA AND Nikki Cross) I would just say I was wanting Kairi Sane AND ASUKA to win so much that I did not care that they were using hellish tactics throughout the match mainly Green MIST 8.2/10 Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman should have had a conclusive win against THE OC(AJ STYLES AND GALLOWS/ANDERSON) However it ended in a disqualification in just under 8 minutes 7.7/10 Chad Gable beat King Corbin in around 12 minutes or more just as he needed to for a great singles push I thoroughly enjoyed it and the commentary 8.4/10 Charlotte winning her 10th Woman's Championship at this HELL IN A CELL was surprising and redundant for her career at this point because she's won it so many times now it makes her be disinteresting. As all the company needs is to find other ways for her to be booked without competing for Raw or Smackdown or any other Title. Anyway Bayley loses by Figure Eight and gives a horrible tantrum afterwards. 7.5/10 NEXT THE FIEND Bray Wyatt Survives THE PAIN of all Seth Rollin's attempts at Stomping and Superkicking him and more just for the match to end by the referee's choice to prevent further injury. I must say I dislike this too but it's no different from last year's conclusion of Strowman vs Reigns with Lesnar attacking both men so just because most are upset THE FIEND did not get the Title here What DID YOU EXPECT? For WWE to give THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP to someone who's been absent all year long until July 2019 being seen only through promos on TV(FireFly FunHouse) and is only over due to this gimmick yet can not perform anywhere close to the way Rollins does and needs attention. Come on As much as I think it would be neat to have The Fiend be champion I knew they had something planned but I DO SEE A Seth Rollins HEEL TURN ARISING SOON! I ALSO THOUGHT THAT PERHAPS Finn Balor HIMSELF OR DEMON WAS GOING TO APPEAR TO GO AGAINST FIEND WYATT! ANYWAY THE MATCH IS 6.5/10 JUST FOR THE SHOWING AND CONCLUSION. IN Any Case this WWE Hell IN A CELL WAS FAIRLY ENJOYABLE AND HAD GOOD ACTION BUT SOME BAD MATCH ENDINGS LIKE THE MAIN EVENT JUST NO NEED TO PUNISH ALL! WWE HIAC PPV 10/10!!

Yes, it may be disappointing for some, but I think it's an awesome storyline
stupidorrange7 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I had low expectations for hell in a cell, but when I saw the first match, my expectations became a reality. In the second match watching the team of Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns fight Eric Rowan and Luke Harper in a tornado tag match was highly entertaining. The storyline for the main event could have been disappointing for some people, but if you really think about it it had a great storyline. Look at it this way, Seth Rollins managed to hit not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 11 curb stomps, but every time he tried to pin the fiend, it kicked out at one, so he tried to hit a pedigree, the fiend kicked out at one, so he hit him with a chair, he still kicked out at one, and if you notice Seth's facial expression, he was panicking, he was scared and that was perfect story telling, so Seth Rollins got panicked, he freaked out and grabbed a ladder and smashed the fiends face with it, he still kicked out, he used a toolbox, it didn't work, then of course that's when the sledgehammer came in, now to explain why the referee stopped the match, the referee stopped the match because he was scared, he was panicking, you can literally here the referee say no don't do this, you're going to kill him if you do this, the referee was freaked out because he had once never dealt with something like this, he had never dealt with someone as crazy as the fiend and someone who was literally doing attempted murder because that's what Seth was doing, he was panicking to the point where he was like none of the finishers are working on him, non of the chair shots are working on him, so there's only one thing left for me to do, kill him, so Seth Rollins tried to kill the fiend. The referee panicked because he thought the fiend was a real person not a supernatural being so he cancelled the match, so if you look at it this way it was like a real horror movie, so the referee stopped the match because he thought the fiend was dead. Also the fiend never once wanted the championship, that explains why he was still satisfied even though he lost. Now many people were saying the fiend was buried, which is also incorrect because not once did the fiend show any weakness, he took all those finishers, all those weapon shots and still was the survivor. After the match ended, the fiend once again rose, even after taking all those hits he ripped up the mat hit a sister Abigail on the concrete and then took the mat and the concrete on the claw causing Seth's mouth to gush out all of that blood. If you look at it this way it's a good storyline. So it was always about torturing and killing Seth Rollins, never winning the title
