In 31 minutes, we are consumed by storytelling at it's highest level. All who were involved in creating this episode made something greater than the sum of it's parts; and each part is superbly crafted. From a boy and his dog to a focus on a moment-in-time personal relationship, the very unique story line is drawn together like a finely tied ribbon around a beautifully wrapped package. Except for one thing... that beautifully wrapped package is further enhanced with a shower of glitter; the singing telegram. OH!, I almost forgot the narrator who wryly, elegantly delivers the package.

They're back!

Whatever stuff Ben and Katja were going through seems to have settled, and they are back to writing awesome TV. Season 3 got dark and went a little sideways (understandable given their personal situation), but I'm really glad to see that the underlying positive attitude is back and peeking through the daily random dumpster fire of life that they always capture so well. Can't wait for the rest of the season!
Still cherry

A great start to another cycle of random meets poignant. Sometimes people don't see the city for the buildings. When you pay it forward it comes back. When you take out your family issues on your partner it also comes back. But with luck people get to see things from the other side of the circle. Perspective is key.
