Well, it's over. Season 2 is such a small poor reflection of Season 1.

So, the writing and acting stays pretty descent from last season, but the scope shrinks down to nothing. Season 1 dealt with a plot to murder 100s of 1000s of people at the Haj. Season 2, the whole season, deals with who is the one Russian mole at that CIA. I doubt the budget for Season 2 was even 20% of that of Season 1. Still, the writing and acting are reasonably quite good.

Season 1 of Condor was among the best TV has to offer. This was puny by comparison, but still reasonably good.

VASTLY UNAPPRECIATED!!! Don't listen to the negative reviews, give Condor a try10/10

I think there's a really tough crowd on IMDb. I've loved Condor since the first season and the second season was no different for me. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! Makes you wonder what actually passes for entertainment these days. I guess a spy/espionage thriller wasn't in the cards for some, but Condor was just what I needed to finally feel like I can watch something again, and hope there's going to be a third season on HBO MAX

Meandering Conclusion
zachmetzgers5 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The finale was strangely structured in that the momentum was strongest in the first 20 minutes, then it sort of meandered its way to the conclusion. It also wasn't entirely satisfying in that Piper wasn't saved and Mae never found out Tracey was bad. Still a great series but this was nowhere near as good as season 1.

Season 1 = A+ grade Season 2 = B grade.

Poor drawn out second season !

Warning: Spoilers
Poor second season I thought ! Stretched it out into ten episodes. Highlight was Isidora Goreshter who is great in everything she's in. Need Leem Lubany back full time. Max Irons is good but when you lose a couple of Oscar winners from first season your struggling. Hope it's renewed though.

This season of Condor went nowhere... extremely slowly
retrodyne30 August 2020
PROS
  • At least they made a second season

CONS
  • The plot was meandering, tedious and lacking drama
  • Plot points and story lines made little sense or took too long to care about
  • THE WHOLE SHOW WAS SPONSORED BY THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY
I'm not joking. Smoking was omnipresent for no reason other than it must have been in-show advertising. Absolutely awful.

Beyond Ridiculous

Warning: Spoilers
They show was pretty bad already, but this episode... It's by-the-book «hey, there won't be a third season, wrap things up quickly, I don't care that you are already filming last episode of the season, do something, ok bye» kind of episode. The amount of unexplainable behaviour of central characters and continuity jumps was mezmerizing after they've spent 19 previous episodes making everything as slow and uneventful as humanly possible. There were never enough material for one solid season and they've managed to make two. That was maybe the most uninspired 20 hours of television I've seen in my life.

I have no idea why this show have such good ratings, it's not even average. I have no idea why the lead guy is the protagonist of the show - he is literally nobody with no talents, interesting personality or some relevant life experience. And I really have no idea why all the characters that show some potential are killed in this show leaving precious screentime for some housewife with her kids and other people who will bore you to death just by their appearance.

Don't watch it.

Really? This plot was phoned in
barbaraehiggins16 September 2020
What a weak season finale! No clever twists, 'hero' behaving like a twerp throughout ( his great idea to get the mole's name out of the Russian boss was like something out of Enid Blyton) , any inconvenient characters bumped off with no questions asked ... and watching Max Irons has made my neck ache! All set up for a third 'thrilling' season but I think I'll give it a miss. There are so many better action thrillers to enjoy that we're spoilt and the weaknesses of duff ones like this really compare badly. Try 'Peaky Blinders' or 'Line of Duty' if you want some well crafted plots!
