Still good.

Sure, it started out a bit out of place, but it was good that they brought more awareness to those issues, which I appreciated. Also, that ending was really something. From the moment John walked in, had a go at Jamie, to that hug between Kayce and Jamie - I just felt all that. The one thing I love about this show is that personally, it's somewhat relatable in certain elements. Not to mention the acting is top tier. Reading the other reviews, it may not be the best episode of the show, but I enjoyed it.

Episode 306

Warning: Spoilers
The new villains could be an interesting thing in the mix, but I don't buy the old one as a legitimate threat. Him trying to scare people is ridiculous.

Duttons , the people , the land , and the offers.

Warning: Spoilers
Reality check , someone goes missing , ends bad , could have been a fall , but the question is who killed the girl ? Weak part of the episode was leave the buffalo alone , talk about a stressed out buffalo on a red couch. The guilt trip abortion vs hysterectomy , that was deep and emotional , wow Jamie you really were dumb , when you were younger, huge difference. The spoiler is Jamie is going to be a dad and that seed would continue the Dutton legacy.

Solid drama if nothing else

Greetings from Lithuania.

"All for Nothing" was a 6th episode of season 3. So far this is the most melodramatic season, yet i do believe things will heat up and we will get some more involving progression of the story. In this season it kinda feels that some storylines are just staying the same but sounds different. Anyway despite this being now a drama and nothing more, i still enjoy it for its great acting, solid directing and writing. Its just that the story in this season is not up with those great things mentioned before.

The stakes are HIGH in this show, wowawooee!!!

Warning: Spoilers
Literally the only thing threatening the Duttons here is an offer for half a billion dollars. Gosh! Edge of the seat stuff! What a terrible predicament for people in this era of economic crisis to relate to.

If that's not enough of a threat, then you can be thrilled by an old man looking after buffalo, handing legit papers over a fence. Tense stuff!

If that's not enough, you can marvel at a kitchen squabble where a grown man (also the new governor? I can't keep track with all the excitement) shouts "I hate you I hate you!" to his dad and punches a window.

What the hell happened to this show?

Oh, also, random women infiltrating the ranchers to then ride buffalo in the night, because Kip has apparently disappeared from existence on this episode.

Sludgy muddy slow

This episode and the prior one . . . there's good material but it doesn't flow. It's actually pretty awful and these should have been powerful episodes. WTF I ask my self 'cause I like this show and I don't wanna stop watching, but hey: bad is bad.

So what's different? I looked. It's the Director. Different and totally inexperienced director and she's ruined an important aspect of the series. These revelations about an intra-family tragedy are crucial. It's wrecked the show for me. I keep wanting to push it, make it 'go.' And it doesn't go.

Too bad.

Coming back after the following episode to report . . . yay! . . . it's all systems go and back on track with an excellent director and very good episode.

I wasted 10 bucks
julieshotmail2 August 2020
I only heard about "Yellowstone" this year when the 3rd season began airing its promos. I like Kevin Costner and so I thought his collaboration on a TV show must mean that the show is really good. I scrambled to catch up on seasons 1 and 2 to get ready to watch season 3. Back in early June, free season 1 episodes were hard to find, so I just shelled out the 10 bucks to "own" the season in Amazon Prime Video. Season 1 was decent enough and got me intrigued to keep going with season 2 which I found available for free. Season 2 wasn't as good as season 1. And now that I'm on season 3, I'm increasingly disappointed as nothing really happens in the show. Ironically I do like the controversial characters Beth and Jamie, but the 2 characters I find very boring and can't possibly root for are Kaycee and his wife. I don't know what it is, but there is nothing to like about them. Maybe because the characters haven't been solidly developed yet and they just seem wish-washy.

No helicopter?
QuackQuack27 July 2020
The writers are so focused on writing drama into the show, the forget the facts. When the Indian girl goes missing, they drum up lots of drama and get a search party together, but they can't write in the fact that the Yellowstone Ranch has it's own helicopter to aid in the search. This season is not very good. Oh, Kevin Costner needs to clear his throat. That rough and gravely voice got old by the second episode. I'm so bored by this episode, I'm writing this review while I watch it. It's bad.

BruceWayne321 April 2022
Jamie did something to help his sister yet Beth blames him???? They were kids

Then the dad gets involved and blames Jamie ??

That is so silly

Such a unneeded plot

What a waste of my time They could of done so much better.
