Killer WAS revealed at the end!
deedrala4 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
First off, let me say that the other reviews saying the killer was never revealed are wrong - it obviously went right over their heads because the killer was indirectly revealed a minute or two before the end - indirectly but absolutely revealed, and I must admit it took me by surprise. I can usually figure these LMN movies out, but this had me stumped clear to the end when it all came out. Throughout the movie, the strongly implied suspicion was thrown on the other two wives: the one who had spent time in a psychiatric institution and the one who was cold and seemingly heartless, to lead the audience to wrestle between the two while trying to determine which one drove the car that killed the bigamist husband at the beginning. I should've known just from that often-used ploy alone that it was the one who wasn't in the least bit suspicious - the one who was calm, sensible, and rational. Loved the tricky, twisty, surprising ending. The writers did a decent job with this one - and it's one of those movies that you just have to watch a second time now that you know who the 'criminal mastermind' was that manipulated the others (including the detective) - to understand how she pulled it off.

Some of you need to pay attention.
andreaweibley8 January 2021
One of the better of this type of movies. Lifetime movies are typically just a guilty pleasure, never mindblowing, but a little escapism.

This was decent enough, and every question was answered by the end, including and especially who the killer was. No one should be confused by this movie.

Watch until the very last scene, the only way you could have missed who the killer was would be if you turned it off too soon. Literally the last 30 seconds has the reveal.

Loved it for the twists and Erin Karpluk
jkt200616 May 2020
The movie is a great thriller though made on a TV movie budget. Am quite fussy about selecting my thriller movies but this one was picked honestly randomly by me on a feel Good Friday evening and I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the twists and turns and the whodunnit guessing game. And yes, can we PLEASE get more of this wonderful actress ERIN KARPLUK?? She is brilliant an actor!! Hope to see more of her in upcoming movie/tv series.

needs to be smarter
SnoopyStyle2 January 2022
Therapist Alison Whitford (Erin Karpluk) is heart-broken when her husband gets killed in a hit-and-run. Police Det. Gabriel Strickland believes it to be murder. She is confronted by Marla Mitchell (Kate Corbett) who turns out to be his other wife. They find that he was first married to Cheryl Volberg (Kelly Rutherford) and has no legitimate source of income.

I'm going with this movie until Alison fails to foresee Cheryl's refusal. Everybody seems to be smart at the beginning. Everybody needs to be smart in order for this to be a good thriller. That's the secret to making this movie work. The writing has to be smart. Getting the wives to agree on the money does not make it any more legal. Alison really only has two options. She can go to the cops or she can go take the money herself. At the very least, she should have held onto the passcode as leverage. I would have liked to see her go to the dark side and have her world descend into corruption. That's the better movie.

Been done better before
phd_travel5 December 2019
There have been a few of these married to many wives at the same time movies. This one is a bit more tongue in cheek humorous. Not a drama. I am a huge fan of Kelly Rutherford and she looks beautiful and classy here. If not for her I would say skip this one. The other two actresses are a bit B grade. A lame little twist at the end.

Mediocre at best
Just-A-Girl-1420 January 2021
Nothing we haven't seen before. It's been done way better. A man is hit by a car (which turned out not to be an accident) and his wife finds out he was also married to two women other women expect for her. It's a whodunnit not so good lifetime movie. The actors are good but they are not at their best and the plot is just mediocre. We also don't get a definitive answer to who actually murdered this man. Skip it.

ok movie with tons of twists
dmichaelsKD14 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It is an ok movie with tons of twists to confuse you on who did it. The end doesn't come out and say exactly who did it but by the actions and what you see at the end you are supposed to know. So it is revealed just not spelled out for you on paper and they get away with it so of course no arrest.

The thing I don't understand and could be considered poorly written. The cop plays them so that he hopes someone goes to get the money and he will have the killer. Yet he just expected to see the person on camera, no notification to the bank, hey if someone tries to take money out of your bank then arrest them? That was kinda stupid.

I know who did it
nightroses16 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The killer is later on revealed if you watch closely. However I was also disappointed with the result because the film leads you up the garden path. I didn't like the silly music put in places, making out the film is a spoof when it was supposed to be serious. I didn't know what genre I was watching anymore. I like murder mysteries but not tricks, where the film writers want to confuse the audience and that doesn't make sense. The personality of the killer doesn't fit the way the cheating husband was murdered in cold blood. No sense of realism or actual humanity. The characters are just cheesy types the ditsy blonde, the unsmiling and unfriendly rich woman and the nice brunette who is the main protagonist. People can't make good films anymore.

Rule Of 3 - Too Much
krocheav4 June 2021
Perhaps too clever for its own good, this is one of those stories that seem to be made up on the run, where anyone could be the guilty party - but the writers then pull the rug from under your feet and add an extra ending that feels like a too-much-to-believe stretch - and way overly manipulative to be fully convincing. For those hooked on who-done-its and don't mind being taken for a ride.

Surprisingly well written movie for LMN
donnaannmoore1 April 2020
Of all the Lifetime Movie Network movies my Fiancee makes me watch this one was the best written, acted, and funniest I've seen. I completely thought this was a real movie and no just the low budget flings that LMN usually has.

For starters the characters are well written and acted especially Erin Karpluk who plays Alison in the movie. She has great lines and emotion that definitely shows in the highlights of the movie. The supporting cast is also great and I can't praise enough how the director did not waste any characters. Everyone had a part and usefulness to the plot.

Finally, the ending is an incredible twist and shows the Actresses true ability to hide her motive the whole time. Again I can't praise this movie enough and the director/writer who wrote this should definitely be doing full budget films. This is a must see!

Surprisingly unpredictable and good

5/10.

From the beginning he was interesting, he kept his attention all the time, the acting was not very bad. It wasn't predictable and I expected the film to be a lot worse.

Unbelievable
incd18 August 2020
Bad script, bad acting and overall poor quality storytelling. It tries too hard to be thriller and ends up falling flat on its face. Hard to believe anyone could be entertained by this flop. Don't waste your time.

A Woman in Every Port
lavatch4 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Dominick "Dom" Volberg was running a very successful scam. As he was worth millions due to his apparently shady business dealings, he was able to juggle marriages to three women in Manhattan. He told each of them that he had business in Panama and was gone at least half the time. But his excesses catch up to Dom when one of the three women gets wise to his bigamy, and he is run over by a speeding vehicle.

The three actresses were terrific in portraying the three wives in distinct characterizations.

(1) Allison is the practically minded marriage counselor with a history of violence after she bludgeoned her previous boyfriend, Graham, when she caught him in the sack with her bestie, Gabby.

(2) Marla is the sassy waitress with as much baggage as Allison. Her first husband was murdered, the crime was never solved, and she lost a baby through miscarriage. At one point, she was institutionalized. When Marla learns that Dom had been unfaithful, she tracks down Allison and tackles her in her own home.

(3) Cheryl is the snooty socialite who was cheating herself at the time of Dom's demise. But she will not give the time of day to her social inferiors, Allison and Marla, when they demand equal shares of Dom's substantial estate.

The best scenes in the film are those in which the three women are together typically engaged in a cat-fight. There is also a smug, yet ineffectual police detective who is clueless in Dom's murder investigation.

The filmmakers kept up a brisk pace with snappy dialogue and a subplot involving a Swiss bank account in excess of $4 million in Dom's name. Just at the moment when the ending appeared to be lackluster and inconsequential, there was a plot twist that pulled the rug out from under the audience and left us with a clever dénouement on a park bench. A confession follows, and a lot of loot is divided in a most unanticipated way!

Great fun!

Ending Explained....Spoiler Alert! Warning: Spoilers
This movie was kind of fun to watch. I liked all 3 women fighting for the funds. My problem is that I did not see the beginning of the movie. I am not sure who the flight attendant at the end of the movie was. From other reviews though, I have gleaned that it is a friend of the protagonist. Apparently, the flight attendant is named Gabby. Why would Gabby owe the main character so much? I can only assume she is the best friend, who was caught in bed with the other gal's man. Or perhaps, it did not go as they said and Gabby was the one who came in mad and bashed him with the tennis racket and the main character has been covering for her. For whatever reason, Gabby risks jail to do the main character's bidding. Shooting at her to throw off suspicion and going to the bank and grabbing the substantial payday. She is loyal enough not to run with the dough, but to bring it to the main character and only take a small cut. You are left to wonder why she would do this. The main charactter tells Gabs that she is not even close to having paid of her debt to her. So the nice, normal main character turns out to be the deadly, manipulative one.

One of the better LMN twists
hoops-5343628 March 2021
Since we got Hulu, we are really getting into LMN. We have begun to expect plot twists and they are usually predictable, but this movie had us guessing all along. The reveal at the end was something we did not expect. The movie was a little slow at times and seemed funny at times- but that was probably due to the Marla character. Once you realized she was somewhat of a psycho, you got along just fine.

Good movie, would watch again.

this is a thriller unpredictable , i want to see more¡¡¡
Cinema2kMendoza13 May 2023
I loveee thrillers where you need to watch all the movie to find the answer, even if takes all the movie. This movie was worth it.

All the actress were perfectly cast, even the clues that were put in the movie leave you suspecting...watch till the end. Is better to see it without know nothing at all. Besides action and supernatural, i love thrillers and this one have everything you want, and you need to keep watching to find the answer.is smart, and thats enough great for me. Also, the fact a guy can have 3 wifes sounds funny(because 3 women will be too much for one guy)and the plot is too dramatic, is the way i like dramas.

Now i want to see more of this dramas, i loveee it¡¡¡

jthomas-7322915 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Movie was interesting, kept you guessing a lot. My questions still are: .did Gabby the friend or Allison kill Domenic? When did.Alison convince Gabby to.shoot at her and go to the bank, get the money etc? Did the detective say Gabby got a million out of the four only?
