Walker: Common Ground (2022)
give me a break
There is no way that lantern had blood evidence on it. They made the lantern look burned to hell, if they wanted to pretend that the lantern had dna on it then they shouldn't have made it look so burnt up.
Also Walker should have immediately sued and demanded the DA be fired for questioning his kid without a parent present. She would have already been under investigation for that instead of researching the magical lamp.
Good Sam: Butt of the Joke (2022)
makes no sense
This story is stupid. He should have immediately been fired for cause, game over. The fact that she didn't fire him for cause and the writers figure out some way for him to get back means they are just going to continue with poor writing. Sci Fi can have ridiculous stories, your dramas should center around reality unless it is a soap opera.
GONE: My Daughter (2018)
ok movie but ....
Ok movie but you will end up yelling at your tv screen the whole movie. She isn't a kid anymore tell him everything right away. It is stupid that she spends the movie not telling him. Find some other way to gain your suspense in the movie.
I am also so done with the victim knocking down their attacker and then instead of finishing him off just running away.
Marriage of Lies (2016)
complaint of bland actress
It was called good acting, the actress was acting bland and not emotional because her husband had her drugged up on the anti-depressants. She was doing that on purpose to act like a person on anti-depressants.
One thing I did find hysterical about the writing though is in one scene she says oh I can't drink because I am on anti-depressants but she is drinking wine in like every other scene of the movie.
Am I a Serial Killer? (2019)
Really?
You didn't figure it out until the end? I figured it out immediately. It is still a good movie but how you wouldn't have immediately guessed who done it is beyond me.
I thought it wasn't the usual yell at the tv lifetime which is pretty rare.
DNA Killer (2019)
Story Not plausable
This story is not possible. A cop can not investigate his own wife's murder. Even if he is the only detective which I think is what they were implying but not sure because they just made a side comment and the police station looked like they would have had more detectives with all those cubicles in it.
then at the end they have the actors tell you the whole story in case you were to dumb to figure it out half way in the movie like I did.
anyway I gave it a couple stars because it was ok to watch even though there is no way it could happen.
Cheer Squad Secrets (2020)
huge plot holes
I am sorry but unless you are going to state that the movie is about the past you have to write it how it would happen in the present or it is a horribly written story.
The cops would have been all over the football coach trying to find out how he got the steroids and everyone in the school would have known about it by the end of the day that he died from steroids and not a car accident. Even if his girlfriend still didn't tell them that the drugs came from her coach at that time she would have definitely told the cops where the drugs came from when she got kicked off the team. The assistant would have told the mom about the drugs, if you are going to try and convince us that she would not have then you would have needed to write in scenes with her being friends with the daughter to where she would have possibly done something as stupid as that. Even if it plays out the way they wrote it, the kid is told it is steroids and she just ignores it like she told her it was candy. Kids now of days would freak out that steroids went into her body she would have been pissed off at her coach. That whole thing doesn't make sense unless you are going to tell us this movie is about the 80s when no one knew what steroids were.
At the end the cops just come and take her away and the family leaves. They are just psychic and know to arrest her and let the family go without even talking to them, that is just lazy writing.
Bad Tutor (2018)
tons of plot holes and just ok story with dumb ending
The movie just kind of plods along and there is no mystery everything is out in the open for the viewer. The only thing is to see how it all plays out.
The end is extremely bad and will piss you off.
Another huge plot hole that pissed me off the guy in the beginning of the movie that was going to follow his girlfriend to college and be a waiter or manual labor guy all of a sudden later he is working in a chem lab with chemicals and is a brilliant tutor that knows everything about chemistry. Give me a break.
The boyfriend is kicked out of school and "put on a list" I assume they are talking about sexual predator list. All of this with immediate with no trial. That can't happen.
Everyone's comments about the lead actresses lips, yeah they are bad don't understand where girls got the idea that they look better with big lips because they don't and guys don't care so stop with the stupid lip injections already.
Rule of 3 (2020)
ok movie with tons of twists
It is an ok movie with tons of twists to confuse you on who did it.
The end doesn't come out and say exactly who did it but by the actions and what you see at the end you are supposed to know. So it is revealed just not spelled out for you on paper and they get away with it so of course no arrest.
The thing I don't understand and could be considered poorly written. The cop plays them so that he hopes someone goes to get the money and he will have the killer. Yet he just expected to see the person on camera, no notification to the bank, hey if someone tries to take money out of your bank then arrest them? That was kinda stupid.
Maternal Secrets (2018)
ok movie
I find it funny that you can prove in the review that you either didn't pay attention to the movie or your too stupid. You do get resolved who McGillis is if you are paying attention. The movie does jump around a lot but the only way it is confusing is if you are not really paying attention and are doing something else while watching it. When it jumps it is usually telling another characters side of the story about what was happening at the same time of the other stuff you just watched. I liked it a lot because at least it wasn't like all the other Lifetime movies where you yell at the screen about the stupid things they are doing.
Off the Rails (2017)
better than LMN movie
At the end I just kept laughing and screaming we were on a break. You will understand when it gets to that point and if you ever watched Friends. I couldn't stop laughing it was awesome.
The movie does have a good story and did keep me interested but it does move along slowly as it develops the story.
Has a couple good twists.
I am getting tired of the victim knocking someone down and instead of finishing the job running off and putting themselves in danger.
The Doctor Will Kill You Now (2019)
good movie a joke of writing
Supposedly has a broken leg and everything is torn according to one nurse. If everything is torn there was definitely no work done to fix the "torn" items. She has fractures in her leg but is never in a cast. She spends a month in the hospital for a broken leg. Ha!!!!
She is limping around and learning how to walk from a broken leg and I guess everything that was torn even though they never say what that means and no work was done on her knee so everything torn means her leg muscles?
Her parents are on the way, we never see them in the whole movie even though she spent a month in hospital. Her fiance never comes to visit her, he didn't know she saw him. He would have visited.
The same doctor that works trauma on a leg also works a double bypass for another girl, give me a break.
This doctor is roaming around watching her, this super surgeon seems to have a lot of free time.
A Mother's Suspicion (2016)
ok movie which is not a high bar for lifetime movie
First off, she did not hand the gun to him. He yelled at her and grabbed at it. That could easily be used as evidence that she is not an accomplice along with the fact that she called 911.
A judge would not have let a killer out on bail that has a violent criminal history. He would have been considered a danger to society.
How does a body float down a river if it is chained to a brick. I don't think so, if they were not found immediately because of the brick then they would have been considered escaped convicts.
As soon as they didn't find a body that is an escaped fugitive from law, the Marshal service would have taken over not his brother and fellow police officers.
With the tape missing the jump and no bodies the Marshal service would have looked for him and investigated his brother.
once again the victim knocks a bad guy down and instead of continuously hitting them or taking their weapon they run away. I would prefer if producers would start taking a bat to writers heads anytime they write that garbage.
One last thing, the beginning of the movie she tries to get the daughter to come home with her and of course the daughter doesn't. The moron harassed the mother and asked for a 3 way. All the mother had to do is tell the daughter that and she would have gone home with her.
My Husband's Secret Wife (2018)
horribly written movie
First of all the whole premise of the movie fails in the beginning. He didn't change his identity they wouldn't have been able to get a wedding license and the whole wedding wouldn't have happened. Then during the whole movie everyone still treats him as husband even though he can't be because he is already married.
The guy catches wife changing pills and says hold on I am going to turn my back to you and call the police. Promise you won't kill me while my back is turned.
She is told in the beginning that he only loves her for her kid and she doesn't immediately suspect he is just trying to steal her kid. She just lets everything slide like nothing happened. It is all very stupid.
I am also getting very tired of the writers crutch of oh my cell phone doesn't work around here. There are very few places now a days where a cell phone won't work stop writing that crap.
Into the Arms of Danger (2020)
Huge hole in plot
Sanity is not like Alzheimer. It doesn't come and go. The mom can't know she killed her kid and then think that other people are her daughter. The whole movie she is showing that she knows it is not her and then going back to playing that she is. It is dumb and shouldn't have been written like that.
Other than that and the boyfriend finding the house and then not texting the mom or calling police were the major dumb things in the movie. A lot less dumb things than in a normal Lifetime movie.
the only other thing i am tired of, when ya hit the guy and knock him out. Don't run away keep hitting him until he is dead. These movies being a little more realistic would be nice.
InstaFame (2020)
Really, can't find kids to play kids?
The high school girl is a 32 year old actress. The girl that plays her mother is only 7 years older than her in real life.
This is crazy you cant actually hire a kid to play a kid. I understand when they get a young 20 yr old because maybe the content is too sexual but a 30 year old is streaching it pretty far.
Stargirl: Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Part One (2020)
Show is meaningless with way it is written
I am sorry but both sets of parents get attacked and attempted murder. Both sets knock the bad guys out. They neither kill them nor get them arrested for attempted murder while they are knocked out. Show no longer has any meaning.
Jeruzalem (2015)
awesome idea poor execution
The lead actress is so annoying and does so many stupid things that you actually root for someone to just kill her. She deserves it.
Could have been better with better writing.
