Well Done

A well put together short film about a submissive woman who plans to eventually escape her old life and move forward. The husband in particular was a stand out actor and gave a strong, passionate performance. 8 stars from me.

Surprisingly Good

Just seen it on YouTube, the message was well delivered and the acting is on point. Trent Buxton, good job playing the husband he fit perfectly for the role. Some scenes were super creepy and the ending was great. Oh and yes Kasuni is so beautiful.

Intense

This had me on the edge of my seat, it was intense and the build up right to the end was great. Good shot selections, music and the acting. Thumbs Up to the cast and the director for making this.

Original

Loved the storyline, really intense. Kudos to Kasuni who plays the submissive woman, she was excellent in her parts as was Trent, the abusive husband who had played the heck out of his character. A talented bunch, a must watch!

I left wanting more!

Chilling and intense portrait of a cat and mouse game between a man who wants to control a woman and a woman who wants to escape from this man. Great acting by all in this film. Trent Buxton was especially good. His non verbal acting was so vital and amazing. He has a range of emotions showing fear that this woman may get away, anger when she's disobeying him, and showing confidence and being content when she does obey him. Great job Trent! The only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because I wanted to see more! Congratulations to all involved in this piece. Great work!

Wish it went longer

A good directorial debut by the filmmaker. I didn't know what to expect as short films seem to be a drag for me personally but this one turned out great. Script has potential to actually become a full feature length. Acting was brilliant also, i felt the husband made it so real it really drew me in.

A nice short film

So much tension, I loved it. To the director Jake, well done on picking the right actors. Trent was a stand out also, he gave one hell of a performance. Just like everybody else I was wishing for way more, it was a little to short for me but that's a good thing.

Unfortunatelly, the reality explored by this short film is more than familiar. A submissive woman, her opressive husband and the high need to escape from status of prisoner. The new neighbor and his daughter are the source of hope. Yes, the end is not the most realistic but the film is wise crafted and the performances, without dialogue, are just beautiful.
