Did you feel anything when you held it?
nogodnomasters26 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is a science fiction anthology of 6 stories told in 5 chapters with an extra at the beginning and the end as one unit. I liked the sets. The stories were disjointed and at times confusing. The characters were not developed and left something to be desired. A dopplinger on Mars kills violent AI humans to prevent them from getting on a train with the lochnar and infecting the web. I think that sums most of them up.

Guide: F-word. No sex. Flashing picture nudity.

Loads of spoilers Alert...however nothing really happens in this so there is nothing to spoil.
brooke_gaylene18 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
First of all ignore the picture and the description because none of it has anything to do with the collection of short...errr...things. I won't call them story because the writer of this forgot to major components, 1 is they forgot to write actual stories and 2 what they did write they totally forgot how to write endings. So basically this is a bunch of short random scenes.

1 has some astronauts in a space station above some planet/moon. One guy is on the planet investigating and trying to fix some broken equipment, runs out of air, takes off helmet n can still breathe. While another crew with in a ship docks to the other and nothing happens.

Then we see random woman wandering around shipping containers, passes out, scientist finds her n hooks her up to machine along with another random woman and nothing happens.

Then 2 people on a train are transporting some woman and some dead bodies. 1 opens a container with a body in and takes a ball out. He attack other dude n lets girl out but she kills him with bit of tin foil n throw ball which has nasty affects on those who touch it...now this starts to get interesting but then it has an anti-climax.. so once again nothing happens.

We then see a girl with tech stuff inside her all being hacked by another girl. This second girl is they able to take control of the first one including making her do martial arts even though she does not know how to do it. This is the best segment of this whole thing.

Then a coupled arrive at their apartments n find clones of themselves, they start fighting and trying to kill each other...i wont say who is who and who survives but once again there is a ant-climatical non ending.

Then we are back on planet from the 1st clip and n nothing happens.

Back in ship/space stations/whatever the Captain has killed someone with no explanation so they float him n then nothing happens.

The scenes are nicely made, not cheap looking but are just nonsense. What a waste of talent and money.

3 out of 10 for the effort, production and acting.

Oh dear lord, this was boring...
paul_haakonsen5 July 2020
Well, I will just be honest and say that the movie's cover/poster lured me in. It seemed like something in the likes of being cyberpunk. I did take note of it being labeled as an action, sci-fi and horror movie here on IMDb, so I thought that the chances were great that writer and director Alice Nicolini had something good going here.

I managed to endure around 25 minutes of the ordeal that is known as "Termination", then I had to do what the title said. I had to terminate the movie, because it was definitely one of the most prolonged and boring movies that I have had the misfortune of sitting down to watch recently. Very little of any much interest happened in these excruciatingly long 25 minutes, and it didn't really help that the character gallery was downright rubbish.

Visually, then "Termination" had something going for it, but the storyline and script was a massive swing and a miss, sliding down a steep downhill slope. I fell off the wagon down that slope, and I have absolutely zero interest in getting back in the seat and finish watching the movie.

My rating of "Termination" lands on a two out of ten stars, solely because the props were good and the visuals were good. And also the cyberpunk-like cover definitely spruced the movie up, serving as a masterful selling point for an otherwise atrocious movie experience.

bunch of short random scenes
dlmyst-298139 December 2020
Out of all the stories the one I liked the most was the cyberpunk one. However, just like the other stories there's really no ending or beginning. You're thrusted right in the middle of the story and trying to hopelessly find out what's going on. Then when you think you figured it out the story ends and you're left with a big WTF moment. If they can redo this movie and just flesh out the stories a bit more it would make this film much better.

Incoherent
mwrinkle15 July 2020
This might have been good given the premise had it an ounce of coherency. Instead it's told in chapters which seem to have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Let's Hear it for the Girls
bemyfriend-4018424 March 2021
Gets four stars for the girls. It is not a full-length movie. Rather, it is four... or five short scenes. All them completely unoriginal; but not without some intriguing attractiveness. The best is indeed the cyberpunk sequence; with the teen-Asians. The girl in "The Andromeda Strain" part is very beautiful; as is the little blonde on the film-noir train. Saw this on Tubi, the free streaming service. Tubi has a very odd assortment of stuff; some of it is good, some is not. I think this film was made as sort of a showcase of abilities: both filmmakers, and stars. Oh, the teen girl in the "Doppleganger" part was pretty, too.

Sci Fi Babble
Snootz9 December 2020
I stopped watching this after the 2nd nonsensical segment. if a movie maker can't catch attention and make some sort of sense within a certain amount of time, I've learned not to spend time further on the film. It may turn out okay, it may not. I'm not going to waste part of my life to find out whether it's a sleeper or a cowflop. The other reviews here slam it. After watching 2 stories I agree.

The first segment the sound editing is so extremely terrible one has to use closed captioning to even understand the audio. (Seriously, it's not just mildly bad audio; it's the worst I've ever not-heard.) The stories started out interesting but then quickly fizzled to a no-ending. According to other reviewers it continued that way through the remaining stories so be fore-warned: this is a dumpster dive with no rewards.

Lame
danielaccountingsource28 February 2023
I was conducting a search for Terminator movies when I saw "Termination" advertised with a cool looking android.

This looked pretty cool with average screenplay of Astronauts approaching and somehow landing on Mars.

After a fairly decent introduction, the movie became jumbled and nonsensical, bouncing around with no plot.

There may have been a plot. However, I wasn't willing to suffer through fair to poor acting and silly dialog.

Don't waste your time unless you need help falling asleep.

Overall, it is utter trash. Why anyone presents trash like this as if it is a feature film is beyond me.

An easily fixable mess, it would've been SO easy!
This is a prime example how NOT to make an anthology. What this obviously needs is a framework. Think either Sherezades 1002 nigh structure, where a tale teller tells a listener: "Prick up your ears for these five stories i've heard", or someone could find a log book on an abandoned space ship, the last remains of a (not so?) great culture called Homo Sapiens. This would have made it more palatable. Now, by suggesting that there's a connection, while there actually isn't one, it results only in annoyed viewers. I agree that the Asian cyberpunk story was the best, if only for the daring production decision to shoot on the sttreets of Tokyo, using the unwitting public as unaware extras. And it has truly unnerving body modifications on top of that.

PS The framework, at its cheapest could be just a voice over....

Awesome soundtrack with analog synths, movie ok divided into 5 small stories
antonyocastro7 October 2022
I felt like watching many short stories on the Facebook page called "Dust" I was swapping channels and when the roulette of channels got into this starting movie, I heard the analog synth and caught my attention, maybe an Arturia o a Moog with fat long pads. I even though at first glance some early works of hans zimmer, but naaaaa, the stories are quite abstract, bizarre, a little psychedelic, but it is does not look that the movie was made with 15k dollars, overall it was ok to watch!

It is divided into 5 different short stories or "chapters" not really connected between them, but feels so futuristic that if you like Indy sy-fy films this is something you might wanna take a look at it.

Difficult to score but I enjoyed it.
future_release6 July 2020
An anthology film with real talent. Where I didn't always understand what was going on it was always visually stimulating and the acting was always good. Sound and cinematography was spot on.

Great intriguing work.

A collection of shorts.
gargamon5 July 2020
This is a collection or short videos that are, while related, not part of one contiguous story. Treat it as such and you will appreciate it more.

Cool, but disjointed sci-fi anthology romp
Woodyanders5 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A series of random vignettes with a science fiction bent: A mission to Mars goes awry, things get hairy on a space station, toxic red dust wipes people out, folks are used as an involuntary energy score by some creep, weird stuff happens on a space train, a gal gets taken over by a computer program in futuristic Japan, and a woman gets replaced by a double.

The problem with this omnibus affair is that the stories tend to be too short and hence don't pack much in the way of punch. Moreover, there's a serious lack of cohesion, so everything doesn't add up to much. Fortunately, things unfold at a cracking pace, the CGI effects are pretty good considering the modest budget, and there's a wealth of funky visuals evident throughout, so overall this item rates as a perfectly acceptable diversion.

Odd... I should be upset at this movie... but I like it
richardperez-3952017 February 2022
Its very interesting at times for setting up, interesting things, but then switches to other stories.

It feels like pulp fiction but each chapter that moves in time or has a new setting is a new movie... I expected it to be cohesive, which seems to be a main complaint, since it lacks that quality.

However... each vignette or chapter, is pretty interesting in it's own right... and creative as hell at times too.
