There is no way they wrap this all up convincingly in one episode. Introducing this affair and mystery man with the dead wife is a lot to take. On top of that, Jimmy Baxter knowing who Adam is and his confrontation along with Fia eventually finding out who he really is has to happen. Then the trial, dirty cops and the Desire gang along with the little kid? To much to wrap up in a nice little bow.

Another good episode

This show is a well written exciting courtroom drama full of interesting characters and a lot of high stakes. Cranston once again is great. The rest of the cast is also quite good. The only complaint is his son is still annoying. But the show progresses towards what hopes to be a stunning conclusion. I will def miss this show when it is gone.
Surprising

Warning: Spoilers
I'm going to be honest here, I didn't like this show at all but I was interested and was enjoying the acting. The plot holes in the show are countless. The mistakes are countless and unforgivable. However, the last 2 (8 and 9) episodes were very solid except the covid 19 part is ridiculous, you just can't do that. The amount of bombs that were dropped in episode 9 indicates that probably there is going to be a second season because it would be very unlikely they get to wrap all of this in one episode.
the writing is messed up

First of all the recap has shown a part that never existed before , the connections they made in a full episode is uncountable and I have never seen any results of it on field ... without spoilers all I can say that the writing is so weak but the acting is what keeping the story alive and again Bryan Cranston is gifted and still the number 1
Just an opinion

Okay I'm a very big fan to Bryan Cranston and Jemmy baxter i watch it just because of them and their intelligent acting , but The way the events are listed in the series is a kind of procrastination, hope they don't ruin it at the end.

I've noticed the score to this series is pretty good alongside the cinematography and so good acting. Sinking my teeth into this one, we finally see Jimmy Baxter become aware of Adam and the fact he is going out with his little princess. What a mess? I mean the irony in it all! If he eventually finds out the hit and run was Adam instead of the father Michael god only knows where we will be. I've not been quite as interested in desire as much as the narrative between Baxter and Michael or the love triangle Adam is involved in. Although over time it's possible the street war between desire and the Baxter's will become just as compelling.
The teacher manages to spill the beans on the hit and run to Charles when she is threatened to stay away from Adam who she is in love with. To say Adam hasn't made more than a few mistakes would be an understatement, Michael clearly told him not to tell anybody of that day. Yet Adam told a teacher who seems to have just been a fling!

Great acting but plot holes to drive a bus through.

Warning: Spoilers
Almost at the end (eps. 9) and still all 4-5 main storylines unresolved. No way to tie it all up without glossing over the emotional impact. The show's plotholes are unforgivable. #1 How can the main character, a judge, preside over a high profile murder case involving where the victim had stolen the judge's car and pled guilty to a hit and run death with it? Talk about conflict of interest.
