In for an inch
Hillius31 May 2021
After Michael's plan to deal with a blackmailer goes south, he eventually comes to an understanding with Jimmy Baxter who spares his life if he can prove himself useful. In trying to help himself, Michael lets on about some insider information that may come back to bite him later.

Carlo Baxter and his pal Joey's plans to get into business with the Desire crew also takes a hit. Jimmy Baxter expects the Desire Crew to roll over, but they have plans of their own in the making and will not stand to be disrespected.

As was mentioned earlier in the show, Judge Sara LeBlanc voices her concerns over Michael's courtroom pace which is not only causing backlogs and possible releases of offenders, but also concerning the local citizens. Being good-natured, she allows him to sit on a personally important case which turns out to be simply bizarre threatening his agreement with the elder Baxter.

Lee gets some news regarding her career as she takes Michael out for his birthday which turns into a surprise which could further threaten to expose him and his son. Judge Sara has some trouble as well, but only for the worst reasons a person can.

Overall a decent episode, if a bit slower. Will the Desire Crew get their due? Will Michael figure out a way to escape his deadly vice? Or are the Baxters going to make everyone pay? With only 3 episodes left I am hoping for an exciting conclusion here. 7/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Not bad, but this show is starting to drag a little bit. They need to find a fresh way to bring in some drama here.

Too many dumb coincidences

What's that? A bunch of people are coming over to the judge's house? Well then, time for the dog to find a bloody rag or vomit up a piece of incriminating evidence.

Episode 7. I see three reviews so far, for this episode anyway.. Two ones and one nine. That's definitely a stretch. I started watching this series and I will finish it. But if this is what New Orleans is REALLY like, then I understand why I went there once and never want to go back again. Ever. Ugh! So what I would like to know is, why the family of a young man who is killed in a terrible car vs. motorcycle accident, by the son of a judge, and the son who was killed is part of a mafia family, and there seems to be no way to settle the problem. And the oldest son of the notorious mafia family is already in jail. This is ridiculous!! If the judge knows that the mafia family is powerful and, obviously corrupt, then how can the mafia family seek revenge? They are already criminals. So now dead bodies are piling up, at least six by my count, and NOTHING is getting done about it!! So I'll rate it in the middle somewhere. Tune in next week.

reality check- review 7

Warning: Spoilers
Ok- the mob boss who just shot a man in the head is giving the judge a lecture on morality? Haha- good one. By the way- who owns this dock and warehouse- looks pretty nice for nobody to ever be around. Ok- now the law firm is also corrupt- go figure. Mob leaders don't have 'walk in's.'. They might get die if they did. They usually have phones now a days. (Insane) I know- that makes for poor tv. Judge just happens to drive by police pulling over other judge and her lawyer girlfriend is indifferent to the whole scene? (more insanity) And a dui judge is not going to get her kicked off any case. Dog throws up evidence- Ok- it's getting worse. Do the people who write this stuff live in the real world? Acting is still pretty good. Too bad they have bad writers. I'm about done.

This POS kid of his better get what's coming, but I have little faith from this terrible writing and plot in general that there will be any satisfaction in the end of this.
