Music at the end tied it up for me

The lyrics played at the end as the former judge walked up into court tied it all up for me. Very apropos. Interesting tie-ins from prior episodes: Vance's girlfriend who was a CIA agent spying on him, secret money account, Gibb's long ago slip under duress. Did not understand WHY the CIA guy was killed though.. some plot gaps for me. Otherwise, great!

A solid episode here, but just not believable at all.

There are no rogue judges ordering hits on people, especially law enforcement.

Wish NCIS would stop trying to be something it is not and stick with what fans want.

I am a big MASH fan and I still watch every chance I get. That is how I will always remember Mike Farrel. Not playing Judge Deakin. While he plays the part well, it does not sit well with me. Some of his other roles I did not care for that he he was in.

I know at the age of 80 when this was filmed, parts are few between. He just does not fit the role after MASH. I prefer that Mike Farrel role and the good memories.

This episode had me on the edge of my seat during the entire second half. What a great episode! The evocation of "The Star Chamber" was done deftly. Highest kudos to the writing team!

I love NCIS, I truly do... But episodes like this make me want to stop watching...

A highly respected judge that suddenly starts giving orders to kill people? Typical hollywood writing...

The main reason I like NCIS is because they try to stay away from that.. Well... they failed big time...

Quite frustrating at times.

When it comes to "....and Executioner" it's an episode, which is certainly enjoyable, but could have been way better. The plot about judges killing criminals was kind of stupid, I thought and could have executed with a lot more build-up. Also, Pedro Hernandez's plot comes to play again- the judges try to kill Gibbs, because he killed Hernandez. The Pedro Hernandez plot has already been talked about in NCIS . Why bring it up again? Just why?

Overall, still a fine watch.
