Sex & Nudity

  • Borderline gay humor. Well there's the implied that Greg is holding Jack's privates (although it's necessary it's more of the Focker joke), but the explanation was also gay (instead of saying he was doing a medical routine to cure his erectile penis, he makes up the gayest explanation).
  • We see a drawing of Greg injecting Jack's penis to cure his erectile disfunction (crude and graphic).
  • Lots of sexual humor and references throughout. Sexual innuendo and dialogue.
  • There are many talks about genitals, sex, sexual relationships etc.
  • There is a reference to a penis during intercourse.
  • Roz has a sex toy ("musical condoms") and mentions that it has a rhythm that gets faster the more they thrust.
  • Jack is shown with an covered erection.
  • There is a sex class with Ross that features scantly clad women.
  • Ross does a show on TV with many mature sexual subjects.
  • There are many more mature sexual subjects throughout the movie.
  • In one scene, married man is at a single woman's house. Woman is drunk, takes erectile dysfunction drug and attempts to seduce him. She strips down to her bra and underwear, but no sex occurs.

Violence & Gore

  • Jack and Greg get into a fistfight.
  • Greg cuts his finger, and blood sprays everywhere. This is for comedic effect

Profanity

  • Cinemax content advisory: rated PG-13 for violence (V), brief nudity (BN), adult language (AL) and adult content (AC).
  • Don't be fooled. This is not a PG-13 movie, but borderline an R one (even if moderate). We see Jack's erect (you know)... that's R-rated crude humor.
  • TV rating: TV-MA-DLV (although of the moderate R type). This is a rare PG-13 rated movie with crude humor such as Jack talking about having a "d--k attack," which is R-rated.
  • Moderate uses of shit and damn.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There are many times that characters drink.
  • Greg is shown with nicotine gum throughout the movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Greg accidently cuts his hand cutting the turkey. Upsetting scene. Although the aftermath is meant for laughs (but not the accident itself)

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • The most bloody (if not violent) of the "Focker" movies. A nasty fist fight combined with some pretty openly graphic blood coming out cause of accident makes this somewhat brutal for a "Focker" movie.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The feeling from Jack at what appears to be cheating on Greg's part (it isn't cheating, it's that Andi was forcing herself on him) is truly a sad scene to some decree (even if Jack is not an easy person to get along with).
