I think the fact that these two have relationship really tests believability. She is an officer of the court and that should be enough. He is at times so inept. I notice he hardly ever tries a case--the others do all the work. The judge already knows what's going on here. This murder is incredibly ugly and the doctor being charged is a sleazeball, even if he didn't do it. So on we go. The trial part, as always, will be entertaining. As I've said before, the soap opera stuff really detracts.
