You're doing very well

I love the chemistry between Lucy and the Director. His frustration with her is justified. She's in the movie but has to be the girl who dies. She has to be the lead. That whole scene is hilarious you got Lucy being her usual physical comedy. I love her.

Warning: Spoilers
Lucy's efforts to be discovered and be in the movies hit a brick wall. It's particularly disappointing for her since the Mertz's get parts in movie from a producer friend of theirs from vaudeville and Bobby the bellboy gets a part with a line this time.

Lucy tries to be discovered the same way Lana Turner was ( although Turner debunked that) . Ricky feels bad and decides to help her out. Her part is small but that she dies is a thrill for her! As usual with Lucy the straight forward scene is anything but that with Lucy involved. The mishaps are not all her doing but either way this may be one of the funnier Hollywood episodes as Lucille's physical comedy genius is on full display. One complaint is that Lucy has rather limited interaction with the others. Ricky, Ethel and Fred have almost nothing to do which usually makes for the better episodes.

Warning: Spoilers
I don't care how many times I see this episode, I can't help but love it. It is one on the most funniest episodes. Lucy's physical comedy is superb and has great chemistry with the director. The way he says "Mrs. Ricardo" and "you're doing very well, very well" but soon realizes that this scene will never get finished and filmed. The issue is, she has to wear and balance an enormous headdress which is too darn heavy for her. Her comedy genius comes thru as she falls to the ground with it on and stumbles down the stairs trying to keep it on and not falling. With the director staring at her in disbelief and frustration. She is so effortless in this routine and deserves all the praise she receives. No matter how many times I've watched this episode, it always make me laugh out loud. On another note, we should also praise the writers on this GENIUS piece if writing.
