Frasier and Niles seem to have more money than Fort Knox. Each year they try to outdo one another, buy Martin outrageously expensive birthday presents. This whole episode is about their efforts, but it has a nice twist at the end.

One of my favourites, tho I'd of liked to have seen Martin see the gift frasier had got for him. That could of led to some epic comedy if frasier was made to keep it. Still a very good episode, with a touching ending.

Debates abound on the issue of shark-jumping. There can be no question where Frasier is concerned. The moment Marsha Mason oozed onto the set, this show became borderline unwatchable. It's actually amazing how one talentless actress/nauseatingly-written character can poison a wonderful show.
We continue to get the massively entertaining Frasier, the amusing Daphne and perhaps the funniest and best-written character ever, Niles Crane. Mostly interesting stories and good supporting characters; it could still be a great show.
But then Marty and the scuzzy bimbo show up and ruin everything. Whoever created Sherry should be shot.
