From the Sublime to the Ridiculous

Warning: Spoilers
I don't think any other episode had the kids divided on a situation as this one did.

Bobby, Cindy and Marcia were with Mom when the accident occurred, so they knew how serious it was.

Jan and Peter treated it like a joke, Greg was rather passive about it.

One of the few laughs Florence Henderson got from us was with this episode, when Coogan is leaving and says he'll see them in court, Henderson rings out, "my pleasure!" and off-screen as well. That really made it even funnier.

But then we get Mike Brady doing his Daffy Duck imitation (when the kid duck kept hitting the man at the shooting gallery with a slingshot eveytime Daffy fired at the target, finally Daffy just goes 'bang!' and when the guy gets slingshotted again, Daffy gives him that wide-eyed smile of, wasn't me! The guy hit him anyway) and throwing that briefcase.

"Mr. Brady, I must ask you not to throw briefcases in my courtroom," is what I wished the judge had said.

Alice hits on Uncle Fester
tophgrass27 February 2022
There is a part near the end where Alice flirts with Uncle Fester to try and coax him into signing the petition. It is both weird and creepy. I find it odd that Alice would stoop so low. What would Sam think if he saw this gross display?

This One Is About Saving Woodland Park
Jimmy_the_Gent425 October 2020
The kids hear that their park is going to be used for a new courthouse. Carol and the kids decide to fight to save it.

An OK episode, a standard sitcom story of trying to fight City Hall. The previous review on here had this one mixed up with the Season 3 episode "The Fender Benders". Jackie Coogan appeared in that one as well as this one, here he plays a grumpy guy who the kids ask to sign their petition, Alice softens him up. An interesting twist to the story is Mike's company is the one designing the new courthouse.
